Very happy with my tree removal @ Donner Lake. Alpen was not the cheapest but reasonable. I went with them because their communication (Kate) was great. The job they did (tree was 10" from my deck) was completed without incident. All debris was removed as contracted. I am a happy customer!

Alpen Tree Experts is great for defensible space maintenance. The owner, Ryan Kramer, and his team are customer-friendly. They are dedicated, professional & reliable arborists. Their quality of work is very good (4-stars) - trimming/removing trees & shrubs, cutting hanging branches, clearing all fallen debris from the grounds, and hauling every item away. They perform enormous & dangerous work, in which I am grateful for and why I give them a 5th star. Thank you Ryan & to your crew!

Alpen Tree Experts completed project of trimming bushes and trees, removing trees at our lot according to requirements of Forestry/ Defensible Space Inspection. Ryan and Team have performed job on schedule, with excellent quality, and reasonable price. We were impressed by high-end machines they used and their professionalism. We will absolutely hire them again.

I live in Tahoe Donner and needed a large amount of deadwood removed from many large pine trees on my lot. The bid was reasonable and the work crew was truly exceptional. I couldn’t be happier with the results! I VERY highly recommend.

We hired them to do a decent amount of defensible work and after a few weeks (and some new growth), we failed our inspection by our HOA. Alpen Tree came back out and completed the job at no extra price and we passed inspection with flying colors. I highly recommend. Very solid company.

Ryan and Stacy were fantastic to work with. Extremely responsive, courteous, knowledgeable and accommodating. Apart from those nice attributes, the actual work (defensible space in our case) was completed exactly as promised and we passed inspection on the first time and with no issues. Last Friday AlpenTree’s crew trimmed and removed trees surrounding our home in Tahoe Donner in Truckee. The work was required as a result of a Defensible Space inspection conducted by Bill Seline of the TD Forestry Dept that we had requested. I am happy to report that Bill approved the job your crew completed on our property.

I highly recommend Alpen Tree Experts. They removed two tall Jeffrey pine trees from my property. One in the front yard, one in the back yard in not so easily accessed ateas. They also removed a dilapidated play structure built on and around the back yard tree. The work, clean up, and haul of everything away was in one day. My work request, their cost estimate, scheduling, and work completed was within 2 weeks this month when weather does not always cooperate. They also helped me get a quicker response from the Glenshire-Devonshire House Assoc. by contacting them directly.

I called few local companies to remove trees on my property. Some companies did not answer and some never called me back. Alpen Tree Experts answered the phone, scheduled for estimate, called me back few days later and emailed estimate. I had a rush to cut trees and they were able to fit me in the schedule. They did a great job. Very happy!

They called to set an appointment and showed up as planned. Ryan and his crew were very friendly, super easy to work with and did the work exactly as requested. Two huge trees, 3 men, 2 days. Excellent crew working in unison was very impressive to see. No damage to the property very safe and professional.

Ryan, Matt, and the rest of the team did a full two day defensible space project at my house in The Meadows. I was being threatened with cancellation by my insurance company which was causing me great stress. I obtained four proposals and went with Alpen Tree Experts based on my interaction with Ryan, his pricing, his flexibility and availability, and all the incredible Google reviews. No regrets! They did a great job and completed the work ahead of schedule. I highly recommend them if you find yourself in a similar situation!!

Ryan and his team are the best in the business. We had to clear a large number of trees per our homeowners insurance mandate within a timeframe and winter was coming! He had the best quote by almost half - he came out personally to walk the property with me and ease my concerns. He was on site for the majority of the work and did a walk through post completion. His office was communicative throughout the entire process. Would recommend him 110%!!!

Alpen Tree Experts is always our first call for all things tree related. We recently had an aspen tree fall in the middle of a spring snow storm onto a building near by...Ryan was quick to response and came up with a plan to remove the tree. I have always been happy with response time, work completed, clean up and followup. Stacy in the office is also a blessing and is fast to respond to any communication and easy to work with.

Pricing is fair and reasonable. The work is performed timely. The work crews are careful to avoid damaging adjacent landscaping and meticulous in cleaning up when the work is completed. Alpen Tree Experts did an outstanding job with our tree removal. Our house was built right next to a tree (and the upper and lower decks were built around it). That meant that they had to rig and lower everything they cut to prevent damage to the upper deck (and the window next to the tree!). The employees were efficient, polite, and cleaned everything up when they were done. Highly recommend.
