You know what they say "you get what you pay for" and it is especially true in this case. I was given a lovely wool rug by my friend who was moving back to the UK. It reminded me of a Charles Rennie Macintosh design and I had always admired it. It was not in a high traffic area but it sat under a table for 20 years with generations of dogs who had snuggled it. When I received it I thought about trying to clean it myself but quickly realized that would be no easy feat. I found "Rug Ideas" online and the great reviews won me over. But I was concerned the price would be prohibitive since they do super fancy rugs. Thankfully I found the price to be very reasonable so I went for it and crossed my fingers for a positive result. Well the result was beyond positive! Not only is the rug clean, fresh and smelling nice - they patched a place on the reverse where the lining was coming away from the back and fixed a spot that had wear on it. The rug looks and smells new.

FYI the kind of work they do takes time. It was 3 weeks from drop off to pick up but it was time well spent. I was in no hurry to get the rug back. It was more important to me to get it done right the first time. Now I feel like this piece will be something I can keep for years and years.

I can without any reservation recommend Rug Ideas. If you have a rug that needs some love they will make it happy again!

I contacted Rug Ideas and spoke with Kash. I was on a strict budget but had a bad damage and discoloration on a rug I inherited from my family, that needed to be fixed.

I had called another cleaner and they referred Kash and his family business and he worked with my budget and was able to provide a color restoration on my rug!

It seems like they are the source and care so much for customer satisfaction and are not in the business for the money. I will be using them for all of my future rug and furniture cleanings and repairs!

Kash is truly an expert! I picked up this Restoration Hardware rug from a neighbor for free and it was in super bad shape. Pet stains, snags, dust, smelly, just overall really nasty shape. Kash got all of the stains out, colored in the areas that were faded, fixed the tears and snags, and brought it back to life! It's a family-owned business and everyone is so genuine and so nice. I cannot recommend them enough!!

What a fantastic company to work with . They were extremely professional and on time . Extremely responsive to any question and concerns that I had . Today the delivered my clean rugs back to me and they look like brand new . My rugs were very old and very expensive and this company came highly recommended by different people and I am so glad that I hired them . I could not have asked for a better outcome . Custom sized wool rug in high traffic area had three generations of bulldogs on it and one absolutely gigantic dog urine stain. 15 years of home cleanings did more damage than help to the rug but Kash and company saved the day.

Their 10 step process returned the color and spring to the rug. They also told me about the benefits of their upgraded rug pad, which helps to combat the compression of the carpet.

All in all, this place is great. They pick rugs up if you don't have a vehicle that allows you to drop them off. Beyond cleaning rugs, their ability to repair and resize rugs is somewhat baffling. The intricacies of repairing fine weaving isn't quite comprehendible to me, but they have the ability to repair in house.

Kash initially told me about clients that send their rugs from all over to world for cleaning. That sort of shows the artistry in what they do. You'd think someone local would be able to clean items, but that isn't the case in Washington State or parts of Europe.

When people tell you they can do something or they are good at what they do, you'll find out in short order. Rug Ideas delivered.

In the past I've used the cheapest methods of cleaning from using awesome on the stains to renting the carpet cleaning machine from the grocery store, and utilizing the really nice "cheap guy", all still end up wicking after a couple of days. I've been in my apartment for 7 years with a growing boy, and I wanted to have this done right! Initially the price is half more than what I have paid in the past, and when they told me their product is organic I thought "my stains are so bad that organic may not cut it", but when advised they would gladly come back out and re-treat the wicking stains, if any, I was ecstatic!!! Anyway. They came out, and blew my mind. Literally made the room look amazing. I will always call these guys back. They get straight to work and their always on or before time.
