Matt, the owner, came exactly on time and not only fixed my mini-split air unit, he explained why we should just add refrigerant and not empty and recharge the whole system. He saved me at least $500 on this visit. He also TAUGHT me about my unit and how to deal with it. I will absolutely use him again. It's rare to get that level of service these days.

where did they go? they have my money and i cannot get a hold of them for service.

This was the first company I contacted for an estimate to install ac in my condo based on the good reviews I read about this company. He came on a Saturday which I appreciated and I thought he gave a decent verbal estimate. He told me he would write up the estimate and send it to me that night or the next day. I never received an estimate in writing and I either left a message or sent an email without a response. So I can’t give a glowing review

We called Elite Heating and Air to fix our heater . Matt, the owner was very nice, on time and knew exactly what the problem was. He fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. Would definitely use him again and highly recommend him to anyone with their heating and air problems. Thanks for the great service.

We called 805 after dealing with another company that could not find the leak in our AC. Matt showed up when he said he would and ran a UV dye test which showed leaks in the coil and compressor and later, a test of the lines which he said showed a leak in one of them, as well.
Matt sent us a proposal on Friday 7/23 for replacing the coil and compressor and said he would send a proposal for replacing the lines and he would start the work early the following week. By Friday of the following week when Matt kept telling us he was waiting to receive the refrigerant lines but had not sent us the proposal for that work and then not contacted us or returned calls in 2 days, we decided to go with another company. Matt then tried to say we had a binding contract and billed us $1248 for the line test. After some back and forth he did reduce that amount to $850 which I paid. I am just glad we had not paid any money up front for replacing the AC. And that we found someone else to do the work promptly and professionally.

Matt was on time, very professional and Covid-19 aware! He know right away what the issue with our AC unit was and repaired in a timely matter. (Our AC compressor was down during this great 100+ temp). In addition, Matt came out on a Saturday to make the repairs. My wife and I recommend Elite to many of our friends at our ranch in Ojai. I would recommend Elite to everyone and plan on signing up for their maintenance program. Thanks Matt for a wonderful job and get our house cool again!

My experience with Matt was wonderful! We were having trouble with our A/C not functioning. Matt showed up and was very professional and respectful! He did a thorough inspection of our A/C and explained everything very clearly. I highly recommend this company. They won’t let you down!

Their website has such a fancy scheduling system and they had flexible time slots. I was able to get someone out right away to check out our heating system. Josue was on time and very professional. He explained the service he was providing - what he had done step-by-step. I'm new to Oxnard so I'm glad I found a reliable company for system maintenance needs.

I called Elite Heat and Air, among other companies, for quotes to install a brand new heating system. Furnace, ducts, vents.... the works. I chose Matt and Elite because of his professionalism and competitive pricing during the estimate walkthrough. After having Matt around the house for a few days, I can say that he is just an awesome, trustworthy, and hard working guy. I couldn't be happier or warmer with the new system he designed and installed. Will definitely look no further than Elite for that AC system I will need soon. Thanks Matt!

I cannot recommend Mathew and his team highly enough. He was exceptionally responsive and went out of his way to come out to fix our AC. We have a 1 month old baby and had no AC in the middle of ojai summer. Matt came to our rescue and repaired the AC in no time. He was super helpful, friendly, efficient and professional. I saw Elite recommended on, I believe, the Nextdoor app, and we were VERY pleased!
Matt was able to come check our heater quickly, which had to be turned off manually. He gave us several solutions, which was very appreciated. It turns out that the solution we chose was fairly simple and inexpensive.

Matt is amazing! We had reached out to a couple of other HVAC companies and they couldn't diagnose the issue with our AC Unit. I called and he was able to come the next day! I moved from the SFV and had the HVAc person we knew install a new HVAc system. We ran into an issue, and our main contact ended up sending Matt with 805 Elite Heat and Air Conditioning. I'm so glad they did! Matt is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He clearly explains issues, options, and differences between systems. Numerous text messages to get us to schedule for their special promption. Signed up for date and time and they didn't show. Called and Matt said he would check and call back in a few minutes. Never called back. My husband called and never heard from them. No call no show. This is no way to run a business. Very inconsiderate!

This company sure knows how to treat their customer. Last minute call, showed up and in no time fixed our theater’s AC problem. Affordable too!

Matt came to the house today for an issue we were having with our heater. He was on time, looked sharp, was friendly and very professional. He diagnosed our issue in just a few minutes and gave us options as to what we needed to do to have our heater working again. He was patient with my questions and went so far as to show me what he was talking about and pointed out the different components of the heater. Nice dude, knowledgeable, patient. Glad I called them.
