I worked with Rani/Crane Construction on a small garage slab demo and repour. The end result was excellent. Rani checked in with me multiple times a day during the work to make sure I was happy with the job. He took all of my concerns both small and large seriously and I could see him making adjustments in response to my feedback. When some of the work wasn't what I expected, Rani made clear he'd redo anything I wasn't happy with and followed through on that promise quickly--I didn't have to hassle him or argue with him.

It's hard to find a contractor who is professional, communicates well, and stands behind their work like Rani does. (He's also a low-key super funny and nice guy.) I can't recommend Crane Construction more highly.

Crane Construction helped us brighten up our tiny house! Their clever idea to add solar tubes in the hallway, alongside the skylight, makes it feel so much bigger.

I recently hired Crane for my Kitchen cabinets installation and couldn't be happier with the results! From the initial consultation to project completion, their professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail impressed me.

Crane Construction replaced our old spiral staircase, which was a safety hazard, with a beautiful wooden staircase and landing. We are very pleased with the final result and impressed by the entire process. The communication was excellent, and they were helpful in sourcing materials and managing the payment schedule. The project manager demonstrated true professionalism throughout the project.

The work was done the next day after I called. They were nice and professional. The sink of the vanity was broken. They took it back to make an exchange. The store was not accommodating. They had to buy a new vanity with the sink. Then return the broken sink and return the cabinet. Such an inconvenience for them. They went the extra mile. We truly appreciate it. We just recently used the Lion group construction company on a project in our home. Luger and his team were wonderful, very professional and hard-working. Their crew showed up every morning on time ready to work. We were very pleased with the outcome and we’re definitely use them again in any project we may have. We have used other contractors in the past and been very disappointed. The Lion Group Construction company will definitely be our only Contractor we will use in the future.

Lion Construction just finished a remodel of our garage. They did great work, delivering everything we asked for. I highly recommend Udi Finkel, Lion Group Construction, as a general contractor. He has done two projects for me. Last year he replaced the boards and steps on my deck. Just now he completed my kitchen remodel of new backsplash, countertops, sink, cooktop, hood, island, moving a cabinet and patching my wood floor. He came up with a great and better design that saved me thousands of dollars over what I designed. His prices are competitive with no unexpected overruns or change orders. His time estimate was dead on. He and his crew are delightful people to work with. They cleaned up the work area daily. Most importantly, the work was so well done. I am beyond pleased with the results and will use him exclusively from now on.

Udi and his team did an amazing job on our bathroom remodel. His quote was reasonable and he stayed within the quoted amount. Udi and his team are incredible. They did a complete renovation of my small, dark, dated kitchen into an open, modern one with a huge island and tons of space. They dealt with the cabinet suppliers, stone fabricator and handled all of the other expected and unexpected details. They also have a design sense so they made decisions I didn't even know to think of. To top it off, they showed up every day and got the job done in a very fast timeframe. So awesome!

Udi and his team did an amazing job on our laundry room project. They were easy to work with, quick, responsive and extremely trustworthy. There were some hiccups along the way (our fault, not theirs!) and they were very flexible and helped to resolve the issue. We look forward to the next project in the future with Udi!

Our designer recommended Udi to us as we researched general contractors, based on the quality of his finishes. As part of our process, I also called 2 references, who further recommended Udi and his team.

The scope of our project was significant:
- Executing a full earthquake retrofit of the ground level of our house, including re-bolting to the foundation and introducing sheer walls
- Introducing a new floorpan, including a new bathroom with a shower
- Demoing and refacing our existing fireplace with tile, and ensuring it was properly set up for the gas insert we purchased
- Bringing our den into this century by removing the wood panelling and replacing it with drywall. This part of the project also involved removing the built-in grill and wet bar and seamlessly repairing our wood floors.
- Addressing many, many smaller updates and needed maintenance

At every step, we found Udi a great partner in the remodel of our home. He was always responsive, flexible and clearly cared very much about the quality of the work that he and his team completed. Furthermore, we felt that he was always fair and reasonable with us, both in terms of the initial estimate and additions to scope we made throughout the project.

Udi often made recommendations he felt would drive better results. For example, we had believed we needed to remove our 2-story fireplace for earthquake safety; after checking again with our engineer, he confirmed Udi's suggestion that it was not necessary, saving us that cost. As another example, we had planned to build a small closet in our crawlspace. However, Udi recommended that we actually use another location, which allowed us to have a much larger, nicer closet than we had initially anticipated, adding huge storage to our house.

Lastly, we were reassured that Udi knew and followed the State of California's rules set by the Contractors State License Board.
