Constraction reviews in Arvada, Colorado

Amazing work! Their sales rep Jenna came in and clearly went over every detail of the project! At one point we had to change a portion due to the slope of our yard and Jenna quickly offered a solution that we liked better than our own idea! The crew was reliable, fast, and efficient. They showed up on time everyday and worked so hard! I will use them again for upcoming projects!

We hired AMK to install a patio and walkway with a few stairs in September 2021, and we had a wonderful experience! They were competitively priced (we got 3 other quotes), had very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and our patio turned out beautifully! Jennalee was a joy to work with - she helped us decide the layout of our project, what type/size of pavers to use for the main patio vs walkway and stairs, and kept us in the loop on timing and next steps. The staff who did the excavation, site preparation, and hardscaping were experienced, thoughtful, and efficient. There was a bit of a delay on starting, but the patio was finished more quickly than I expected and the quality of the install was worth the wait. Everything is level (with a slight slope away from the house for proper drainage), tightly installed, and the stairs are at a natural walking cadence. We get compliments on our beautiful and inviting patio all the time, thanks to AMK. We highly recommend them!

From the overall customer service to the final product, this company executed hitting all cylinders! Exceeding expectations as their crew clearly displayed a mastery of their craftsmanship, I literally watched them bring to life what I had imagined. The electrical heat melt system they had installed works flawlessly--which was just as much of a concern as the driveway paver install itself--and to watch the snow steam off the ground brought a Vail Village like feel to my home. The system worked so well that you can stand barefoot and feel the heat radiate through the paver block! Their rep, Jennalee, was very communicative, making addressing any questions, issues or concerns seamless; the owner, Mike, coming out to see how the process was going and to talk with him provided the security that I was in good hands as well as the unexpected satisfaction of keeping it local; solid guy, and their crew leader, Lilson, showed a work ethic unlike anything I have ever seen before. These guys worked so smart and hard with an acute goal for perfection that on several occasions I was compelled to buy them lunch. Lastly their pricing was certainly not the cheapest but in comparison to their competitors and after the fact, I feel as if I gotten a bargain. If I had to do it all over again, without second thought, go through AMK and I want to inform others that they'd be wasting their time trying to find a better company for the job. Thanks AMK!

We had them do a large patio, retaining wall for part of the patio, walkway from the patio to the driveway, and a large driveway apron that continues the pavers of the patio. They did an amazingly nice job, and did it while we were out of town. We wouldn’t change a thing that they did. They know exactly what and how to do it. Give them a try - you be very pleased that you did!

It has been a pleasure working with Jennalee and the AMK Hardscapes team on the last two projects. They built a patio in November, and recently extended the walkway. Both times I have been very pleased with the results, and the team were very accommodating on my requests. They arrived on time, finished within the quoted time frame, and cleaned up the area very well. Prices were also very reasonable. Will hire again, and highly recommend them.

Mike and his team did an excellent job on my backyard paver patio. They started the job earlier than promised and finished in the quoted time. His team was profession and really did outstanding work. I'll be using them in the future and would highly recommend AMK to anyone.

An awesome construction experience from start to finish! We love our new 1,000+ square foot patio, walkways, sitting walls, and column with carriage house lamp. The builders are expert carpenters in stone. Jen, the project manager, was on top of every little detail. I especially liked visiting the paver yard where there are installations of all the Keystone paving stones so you can touch them and walk on them. The pavers have been installed at the yard for years so you can see how they look over time, and the designs there gave me ideas. Also--the stone masons worked steadily daily until the job was done. This got our project completed so fast! It just doesn't get better than this. Thank you to everyone on the team!

I couldn’t be happier with the experience I had with AMK Hardscapes. From start to finish, they were professional, punctual, and truly masters of their craft. Their team listened carefully to my ideas and worked with me to design a hardscape that perfectly complements my yard.

A special shoutout to JennaLee, who was awesome to work with during the estimate process. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everything feel so smooth and stress-free. Her communication and attention to detail really set the tone for the whole project.

On installation day, the crew showed up right on schedule, worked efficiently, and treated my property with respect — leaving the area spotless when they finished. The end result is absolutely stunning: the stonework, patios, and features they built are solid, beautiful, and clearly made to last.

Every interaction — from the initial call to the final walk-through — was friendly, transparent, and reassuring. If you’re looking for top-tier hardscaping services with integrity, skill, and excellent customer care, I highly recommend AMK Hardscapes.

Couldn’t be more pleased with the work AMK did for me installing Pavers on my patio. Jennalee was very accommodating to work with as she fit me in her busy schedule when I needed my work done within a week of contacting her. The crew was fast, efficient and very professional. I highly recommend!!

Fantastic, awesome, amazing - just a couple of words I use to describe AMK. They did a wonderful job for the initial installation of our paver patio. In the years since, we have had some very minor issues that team has come back out to promptly fix. I am so impressed by the team and highly recommend AMK to anyone needing hardscape assistance. Big shout out to Jennalee!

AMK did a great job repairing the front entry step that was settling. Once opened up the AMK crew found that the original installation company had not put enough road base down. That company also did not properly grade and allowed water to run back on itself. AMK fixed all these issues and brought everything back to looking new. Their communication is excellent. They are quick to respond. I highly recommend their services and will use them again for future projects.

The crews at Amk did a paver driveway for my new home. I am so happy I went with pavers over concrete. They were easy to work with. Jenna Lee answered all my questions fast! I really appreciate all they did. Also they gave me the best estimate cost wise.

We had a great experience working with AMK on our patio. They made our project a priority, kept things moving efficiently, and the crew was friendly and hardworking. Communication was smooth, pricing was reasonable, and the overall process was easy. We’d be happy to work with them again

Wow. AMK did such a great job. The crew was so hard working, careful and very responsive to issues that came up during the process to make everything absolutely perfect. And Jenna Lee, the ops/sales manager, is on top of everything and always available to help with anything. The result is just beautiful.

We absolutely loved Jenna and her team. Jenna educated us on what to expect, what was needed, the pros and cons to certain stones — she provided recommendations for our hardscape and even helped us make a more cost effective choice for the same look! Her team was exceptional, and got the job done incredibly fast and precise. We would recommend AMK to anyone looking for hardscaping. It was well worth it. We love it!

JennaLee is a treasure in the design industry. She did two major projects for us and both are exactly what we wanted.

The work crews are dependable, friendly, and flexible for small changes during the project. We did two patios, a driveway apron, and a heated path to melt the snow. All elements are wonderful. Will definitely hire again!

Mike the owner also would stop by to make sure everything was going well. We really appreciated that!

I’ve hired AMK Hardscaping for two projects in the last couple of years and both have turned out to exceed my expectations. The first was a walkway down the side of my house and most recently reconstructing my entire driveway with winter’s blend pavers. Both projects were done in 4 days or less and were done very efficiently. Every worker was very nice, respectful, and a hard worker. They all knew their craft very well and were willing to flex any details to make it all work according to what we wanted. Their pricing was fair and was lower than other bids we received. Their front person, Jenna, has been such a great person to work with. She is professional, answers communication quickly, and is always positive and helpful. I would highly recommend this company based on my experiences with their work.

We recently (Sept) had AMK Hardscapes install a paver driveway and update our front porch and step. They did an amazing job. Jennalee was our main point of contact. She took a lot of time talking to us and offering suggestions. We were able to go look at other projects that they had completed to get a better idea of what our options were. We got to speak to some previous clients who had nothing but positive things to say about Jennalee and AMK. The team arrived, on time and were just a joy. They saved my iris bulbs, they were never too busy to answer questions and addressed any concerns we had without question. They worked together really well. Mike, the owner was on site during the demolition process and beginning phase of the project and ensured us that if there were any questions, he was available. We have met more neighbors with the installation of this driveway/porch as people keep stopping by to compliment the work.

Cavan and the team did a terrific job on my side walkway pavers! Honest, thorough and dependable. This is the place to go for your pavers and hardscape projects!

Our three tier pavers patio was constructed 10 years ago by another company (now out of business) and it was having structural issues with cracks and gaps. We attempted to contact numerous hardscape companies and most companies ignored us because they would not repair a structure they did not install. However, Rocky Mountain Hardscapes came out and provided professional repairs that blended perfectly with the existing patio. We were so impressed that we contracted them to do some repairs on a wall in the front of our house. In both cases, their work was excellent.

If you are considering a new installation or require repairs to an existing structure, I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Hardscape.

I had the opportunity to work with Cavan and his team for a patio and walkway build out. They did an amazing job. I understand things happen when you have big projects going on (I had a busted sprinkler/little damage to a piece of siding). They went above and beyond to ensure it was corrected. I haven’t found a business in years that valued client satisfaction the way this team did. Not to mention, their pricing was the most competitive. I honestly felt their work was worth more. Great work, Cavan and team!!! Thanks again!
