I always get good service with reliability from Lakeside. Today Jimmy Frey performed the annual service on my AC unit. He was punctual, efficient, and very open to answering questions or concerns. I highly recommend Lakeside Heating and Air Conditioning and their excellent team.

Jimmy came out today to do a tune up on our AC. He remembered our names and our system. He did a very thorough job and I felt I could trust him. Jimmy is very personable and respectful! We will definitely have him back again and recommend him to others.

I don’t usually write reviews, but when a man shows up like a calm, collected action hero and saves your house from turning into a humid swamp, you give the man his due.

Jackson D. didn’t just fix the problem. He walked in like he already knew the ending. Professional, sharp, and cool as the air he was about to bring back into my life. He took one listen to the unit, gave a little nod like a mechanic in a war movie, and got to work.

No fuss. No lectures. No mystery charges. Just real skill and quiet confidence.

At one point I asked if something was broken and he just smiled and said, “Not for long.” Felt like I was in a Clint Eastwood movie, only with refrigerant and a Shop-Vac.

He cleaned everything up, explained what he did in plain English, and made sure the system was purring before he left. Not a trace of the mess, no pressure to buy anything extra. Just a job done right.

Now my house is an icebox, my stress is gone, and I swear even my cat is sleeping better.

If this guy ever runs for office, he’s got my vote. Give this man a bonus immediately!

I'm updating my review from several years ago. Chael and Derrick installed a heat pump, replacing my 17 year old AC that was on its last legs, today. They were neat, professional, and explained everything I needed to know. I can't say enough good things about this family-owned business. I will continue using them for all my HVAC needs. I got five quotes and although theirs was almost equal to one of the other companies, unlike the others, Tony and Bill (and Marissa) didn't "trash talk" the competition. Super professional, courteous and informative. This review about Jimmy was from several years back. Jackson is awesome too.

I've read about the value of quality installation of any HVAC system. Lakeside surpassed my expectations with the outstanding installation in my home. They quoted 1 1/2 days to install when others are in and out in often less than a full day. Lakesides attention to every detail was impressive. Jimmy Frey has been doing my spring ands fall tune-ups for a few years now. He's been an exemplary service tech. Highly recommend Jimmy for quality, honest service.

If there were more than five Stars, I would rate Lakeside ten Stars. They were responsive from the first call I made about trouble with my HVAC system, scheduling an appointment right away. Another company said they could schedule an appointment in several weeks, and that was just to determine if there was a problem. So, I chose Lakeside.

Everyone from the employee who helped diagnose the issue (Joe), which was basically a 19 year old system wearing out, and what can be done, to the sales rep (Tony) who also explained about the new system I chose (Daikin with a heat pump), and finally to the installers (Chael and Derick) who were fantastic as well. They all showed up as scheduled and explained my options without pressure. The installers kept me informed about the process of installation, were very patient (especially with my dogs barking), demonstrated how to use the new thermostat, and cleaned up ‘everything’ after a job well done.

Everyone I dealt with at Lakeside was knowledgeable, up to date on HVAC systems and current rebates, patient, and did not pressure me but instead were supportive once I decided what system to use.

While, I recognize HVAC systems are expensive, I believe I received a fair price with various rebates Lakeside offered. It will be the first company I call if I ever need another system or issues with the new one, which I hope is not anytime soon! 😄 I recommend Lakeside wholeheartedly.

The technician that performed our AC check, Jimmy Frey was outstanding! He was courteous, thorough, very knowledgeable and professional. Jimmy explained everything he was inspecting and answered all my questions. His honesty and desire to do a great job with no sales pitch for unnecessary products or services was refreshing. Very friendly, professional and experienced. I have had my air conditioning, and furnace serviced and replaced by Lakeside Heating and I am very happy with everything about it.

Jimmy was very professional. He diagnosed and fixed the issue with my A/C. Issue was the result of a previous HVAC company who supposedly cleaned and tuned up my furnace in Feb. 2025.

Previous company did not clean my furnace, instead they loosened wires to my A/C. This is the reason my A/C wouldn't turn on. Jimmy completed the tune-up on my A/C. He stated my A/C was in pretty good condition. He did not try to upsell me anything. I highly recommend Lakeside Heating & Air Conditioning.

Joe and Lakeside Heating & Air are the only people we call for tune ups or when we need help with our heating/air conditioning. They are friendly, knowledgeable, timely and never try to upsell. Several years ago they earned our business via helping us out of a mess another company created. They were honest and thorough. Now, Joe Z has serviced our system several times as well as some of his colleagues. They always answer our questions, are polite and friendly, and do a great job. Many of our extended family and friends are also loyal customers because of the same treatment.

As a maintenance manager, I rely on vendors who are prompt, professional and trustworthy- and this company checks every box. They respond quickly to service calls, communicate clearly, and consistently provide quality work at fair prices. I appreciate knowing the job will be done right and highly recommend them for all your heating and air conditioning needs.

I was referred to Lakeside by a neighbor who stated they were a family owned business who delivered quality products at a reasonable price. I bought an old home that needed a complete HVAC system.
I had a tremendous experience with these guys. Tony came out and evaluated my needs and provided me with several options. Tony actually recommended the least expensive option, which I went with.
The technicians who installed the system were great. They were clean, polite and a pleasure to have in my home. From what I can see the ultimate work they did was flawless.

Tony was very through and detailed in sending us multiple quotes for various options. The installers, Mic and Nick, explained what they were doing at the different stages of installation. They covered the work floor area and or booties were worn at all times while in our home. Everyone including Holly, in the office, are very professional and personable.
