Very thankful for Hawkeye Heating and Air. During the hottest week in the summer, John, came to our rescue and installed a new AC. (This was after he worked diligently to find a better solution to a complete replacement but after 23 years, it was time.) His pricing was fair and he made sure to make sure the job was done correctly.

My wife reached out to a local Facebook group, mentioning we were looking for a reputable HVAC company. Someone posted the company name Hawkeye Heating & Air Conditioning.

I reached out to the company and was connected to John D the owner. John and I talked briefly and set an appointment for him to come out and provide me an estimate for a new furnace and condenser (AC unit) as mine was 15 years old.

John showed up on time and went through my HVAC. John then sent me a proposal a few days later for a new Rheem system. Unfortunately, the estimate was a fair, but was outside my budget. Instead of just throwing in the towel, John made some phone calls over the next few days and found me another option on a Weather King, which is a part of the Rheem family. The revised estimate was extremely competitive in price, and I moved forward with it.

John worked with my schedule and got both units installed and running perfectly in a short period of time.

There are a lot of choices out there when it comes to HVAC companies, but I’m confident in recommending John and Hawkeye Heating & Air Conditioning.

We had been without AC for a few years and finally decided to have new system installed this year. Shopped around with a few outfits and received quotes from both big and small companies. John and Hawkeye were able to offer a better unit at a great price, even beat the big guys by a good margin.

We could not be happier with the unit and the work done! John and his team were courteous and respectful, arrived on time, and worked until the job was done and done well. Our new Rheem units do a great job and will last for years to come.

Simply put, we are blown away, and so happy we saw him in our neighborhood and decided to call for a quote. He came by the next day and really looked at our old unit, even offering to try to get it running again before looking at installing a new unit, which is way more than anyone else even bothered to do. We elected to go with a whole new system and are incredibly happy with the quality of the install and the unit, and the incredible value.

I was referred to Custom by a friend, am very glad he did. Dwayne and his crew are all very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and courteous. I hired them to install a water heater, furnace and AC. Very happy with the system and the techs. The tech was out yesterday (I do not remember his name, apologies) to charge the AC for the season. Technician came out to inspect an A/C unit that had been tripping off. A large well know. Company in the area had been out 3 times and kept trying things that didn’t work. The technician from Custom identified the source of the problem fairly quickly, and on his first visit. Needless to say, we were very pleased!

Dwane (the owner) was awesome to work with on our project! We had to install a whole new heating system in our 1915 home, so not an easy job. Everyone that was here for the week was respectful of our home, worked early until late each day, came back multiple times to do adjustments and had great attitudes. Scheduling was a breeze with Brandy. They also made sure we had space heaters before project started, which we greatly appreciated! We would highly recommended HPACES!

Custom has been great every time I've needed them. They are helpful and reasonably priced. Hopefully I will not need any repairs anytime soon, but when I do I know who to call.
