Plumbing reviews in Aurora, Colorado

The first tech’s that came did not resolve the problem and they told me that I would need to spend lots of money to fix backed up sewer lines I paid them and they left me with the same problem I had when they showed up. I was so frustrated so I called back and spoke with Dominique and shared my concerns as I’m disabled with limited resources. Dominique scheduled me the same day with Rory Ashley and thank God she did! Rory listened and took care of my problem. I paid more money to get the job done but as long as Mr. Rooter employs Rory and Dominique;I think I may remain a customer.

As a A licensed contractor for years, I’m embarrassed that I accepted this price. One site visit and then after hours, a ten minute repair. Fair and reasonable never enter the discussion. Watch out for pricing!
Job was completed but next time I’ll look harder at my options.

I hired Mr. Rooter for septic-related work at my property in Arvada. While some portions of the work were eventually completed, the overall experience was prolonged and very frustrating due to unresolved technical issues, repeated mechanical failures, and conflicting permit information.
After the new holding tank was installed, the grinder pump still was not working for quite some time. After their initial electrician was deemed too expensive for their budget, Mr. Rooter sent out another individual to evaluate the system. He was able to restore electrical power to the grinder pump, but stated to me that he was not a licensed electrician and was unable to determine how the septic alarm system was supposed to be wired or activated. The alarm issue was never resolved despite repeated follow-ups.
The grinder pump later stopped working twice after Mr. Rooter’s work, and in both instances, the failure was caused by foreign material lodged in the pump impeller.
The first failure was caused by construction debris lodged in the impeller. The debris was definitively identified as a tab on top of an access cylinder that had been removed in order to stack another one on top of it. This obstruction prevented the pump from operating properly. I had to personally pull the pump out and remove the obstruction. After doing so, the pump was operational.
The second failure occurred after Mr. Rooter’s septic specialist was on site. I personally witnessed the technician cut the rope used to raise and lower the grinder pump, and I also saw a portion of that rope fall into the holding tank. That rope later became lodged in the pump impeller, causing the pump to stop working again. Again, I had to personally pull the pump out and remove the obstruction. After doing so, the pump was operational.
In the beginning of the project, I was told multiple times, from multiple Mr Rooter employees that “a permit was already pulled or going to be pulled and I would be supplied with it”. Later, I was told by one of the same employees that “no permit was needed.” After independently contacting Jefferson County Public Health, I was informed that, indeed, a permit was required for this type of septic repair or replacement.
Despite the unresolved alarm issues, repeated pump failures, and outstanding permit concerns, I ultimately received a demand for payment in full. Within 8 days, a notice was sent to me, via certified mail, that my home now has a Mechanic's Lien filed against it.
I’m sharing this experience so others know who they are dealing with and so that they ask very specific questions upfront about permits, licensing, pump handling procedures, alarm systems, and final inspections, and to get everything clearly documented in writing. -
Tye Cox solved an issue for us in 5 minutes that 5 previous plumbers could not figure out! We had a sewage smell coming from our kitchen sink and Tye immediately figured out the problem and we could not be more grateful for him! He was friendly and thorough and took the time to explain everything. Also, the cost was very reasonable. Tye showed up at our house within an hour of placing the call to Mr. Rooter. Thank you Tye!

My brother and I share a townhouse in Aurora Colorado. Recently we had a couple things go wrong with our plumbing.
First, we needed the faucet in the kitchen sink replaced. Mr Rooter sent a tech by the name of Colton out. He had us up and running in under 2 hours and he even cleaned up after himself. The next day I went to take a shower and the pipes kinda clogged up and the water just wasn't running well at all. Mr Rooter sent out another tech by the name of Josh this time and he diagnosed the problem to be with the hot water heater and replaced it.
The water in the entire house is running much better! It even resolved a pressure problem with the upstairs shower. It had been making an awful racket that you had to quiet down by messing around with the handle and the water diverter. That problem is now fixed, I had no idea that rust and settlement was causing this. We have signed up for a service that flushes out and maintains the hot water heater for a few years ahead. We also bought a bottle of drain cleaner enzymes that works great for the sewer system. Speaking of which was replaced by Mr Rooter a couple of years ago. All in all, I'd say that this is the company you want to call when you're needing something fixed or replaced.

Friday night 3:35 p.m. and I had a sewage backup in my basement and the wife was not happy.
My first call was to P####L##e but they couldn't make out till 8:00 - 10:00a.m. Saturday. I called Mr. Rooter and they sent a technician (Will) out by 4:30 p.m.!
Will did an amazing job very last minute, coming out in the snow storm. He cleared the line, no mess and cleaned up afterwards! 5 stars for Mr. Rooter and big Will!
Thanks, Frank T. -
