They are fine if you want a company to come once a week and cut your grass, but I won't pay for any of their other services again. I've had several instances of them saying they came and performed a service, but I have no one on my doorbell, no service card, no service flag and no evidence work was done.

I had Olson outdoors complete a pretty extensive back and front yard renovation over the winter and spring. I was looking for a company that could provide all services for me, which included landscape design with plans, removal of all existing plants, grading backyard, sod removal, re-locating pavers from one section to add on to existing pavers, fence repairs, build a fence, paint a fence, irrigation, rain barrel installation, new sod and plants. Olson was recommended to me by 2 different sets of friends as they both described their work as being very efficient and detail oriented. I’m a bit particular about things being done well and of high quality so I felt Olson sounded like the best company to go with. No disappointment on my end - they’ve done a phenomenal job in my yard! They’ve worked quickly, but have still managed to deliver high quality results. One of the guys laid pavers (that looked level to my untrained eye), and then came back the next day to re- measure, noticed the pavers weren’t completely level and re-did the section to make sure it was completely level. I didn’t even have to ask him to do this, he just did it because they want their work to be at the highest standards. We’ve been in constant communication about everything, and any changes that have been needed have been clearly talked over and prices agreed upon ahead of time. I’ll even add that Brandon and Darby offered options to keep us within our budget and gave some suggestions of small changes we could make to accomplish as much as we wanted but still not going over budget. I really appreciate that, as not everyone has the same budget, but there are ways to save a little on a big project like this. Also, the crew has been super friendly which is always nice, especially when you have an eager toddler that wants to ask them a million questions about all the work they’re completing. Overall, we love our yard; are outside using our yard everyday since completion and each time we step outside we comment about how much we love it! This has been the experience I was trying to achieve and I’ll probably be recommending Brandon and his team to everyone I know! Now the only thing that I could ask for, is for them to start doing lawn maintence in Stapleton...I’ll keep my fingers crossed!

Brandon and his team are amazing. Their work was great, they offered solutions and worked with us to resolve any issues. Definitely a great value for the landscaping and weekly lawn maintenance.

Did 3 days of hard work both in front and in back of the house, done as proposed. One small mistake was made and, when called to their attention, immediately was acknowledged and scheduled for repair. In my estimation that's the most important part of business. Anyone can make a mistake, we all do. It's admitting the mistake and fixing it that shows the true measure of a company. They were recommended by a neighbor who has used them for years and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

Olson Outdoors has great people both in the office and doing the actual work. After getting several quotes for the scope of work, they were the most reasonable with pricing and timeline. The work they've done for me has been great and I will continue to work with them in the future.

After years of working with other companies, with varying degrees of problems and success, we finally switched to Lawn Boys and our lawn has never looked better. We’ve also had a positive experience in communicating with Chuck and Yates to make sure we’re all on the same page about what needs to be done. They’ve been honest and open with us, and what I’ve appreciated most of all-beyond the healthy grass and weedless property, of course-is the professionalism they’ve delivered. In any business, how you write and speak really do matter.

Brandon and Justin showed up on time and did an excellent job for the amount we had agreed upon. They were polite, personable and very hard workers. I would recommend Olson Lawn Care to anyone in need of professional lawn services.

I attempted to hire them to do aeration. I sign the agreement. Then hear nothing for around 2 weeks where they say they'll do it during a 2 day period. Those days came and went with no sight of them. I work from home and was home all day those days. My yard is unlocked so they could have done it. Plus my front yard is completely open.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed something came up and they'd contact me. Nope. Like 2 weeks later I got an invoice from them for the work they didn't do. I email them to let them know and they say they will cancel it. Yet I am still weeks later getting emails from them that my payment is overdue and I still have an invoice.

They didn't even do any work for me and it's been this annoying to deal with. I can't imagine if they(assuming they can) actually did some work. I see them responding here and I wouldn't trust their responses. Literally every single interaction I've had with them they have screwed up. So I highly doubt they are the meticulous record keepers they seem to claim to be here.

Edit: Responding to olson outdoors. As I expected they cannot keep records. Let's go through it. I will quote the emails exactly. Here is the response when I mentioned the missed aeration and fraudulent invoice. Verbatim. "I am so sorry about skipping your Aeration. I will delete that invoice for you. Do you still want it done later this week when it warms up a bit? Please let me know." Karla says "I will delete that invoice for you." What more is there to say? Did she do this. No. I don't need to respond to that. She say's she'll delete it and she didn't. It didn't say 'let me know if you want me to delete it'. It says she'll delete it.

Next, where is the discount? So this is just a lie in the response here.

Olson claims the neighbors were aerated by accident. Other than the fact that I work from home all day those days I never saw them at my neighbors additionally all my direct neighbors had already had it done before that date. So the techs can't tell that a law has already been aerated?

As I mentioned. I wouldn't trust their responses here.

Making a mistake is fine. Owning up to it can even make a business more trustable. But this fake 'taking responsibility' being done here just destroys credibility.

To further highlight the dishonesty here it is claimed that I was offered a discount. So why would I still have an invoice for the same amount due at the same time? Wouldn't you create a new invoice for a new amount? Further by the time I got the invoice it was due in like 1.5 weeks. I would expect a new invoice to be created regardless since the original would be for work that never happened. The reality is that they never intended to offer a discount and just forgot to delete the invoice.

Buyer Beware!

6/13/24 emailed re. email on 6/14 received confirming .
6/13 received quote aapproving seasonal mowing work starting the following week. Via email. No lawn was mowed the next two weeks.
On 6/14, Alexis, CSR at Olson stated service would start.
6/29 again approved work via email.
7/13 I was emailed that they didn’t have my phone number and asked ME if my lawn had been mowed (not joking). I confirmed my same phone number for 10 years and emailed that I hoped the lawn was mowed as I was away. No response.
7/17 my neighbor called and mentioned my lawn was still not cut! I was In disbelief.
Called to speak to owner of Olson who is apparently out of the country and no manager present. After and upon reflection, on 7/17 I called again and cancelled my service!! ( that I never received)
Completely unprofessional!!!

We definitely recommend Olson Lawn Care. Brandon and his team are very knowledgeable and lovely to work with. My husband and I asked them to design a fence to enclose our front yard pool. They created a seamless look with functioning gates within the fencing. Timelines and expectations were effectively communicated with us throughout the project.
Olson Lawn Care were very considerate and polite on property. The original estimate was honored and they have been very responsive if we have any questions or concerns regarding the maintenance of our fencing. We would recommend Olson Lawn Care to others and will look forward to working with them again in the future.

Everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. No drama, just great service. ☀️

The yard has been salvaged in just one season! I purchased the property in December and wasn't aware of the weed and bare spot issues. Olson has been treating the yard and mowing/trimming since April. It is now a beautiful lawn. The crews communicate before coming out for treatments, or sprinkler setup. The mowing crew is there every week! Excellent Service!

Don't expect to hear back from this company.
We had an onsite visit with Olson Outdoors where we thoroughly went through everything we were looking for in our landscaping project. They made big promises and we were impressed with the scope of their services. We were told that we would get a design and quote within 48 hours and would go from there. After one week of no contact from them, I called them to see what was going on. The person who answered the phone said they were busy but would reach out to the team and find out why I wasn't contacted. Once again, no one contacted me back. I reached out again after 2 weeks and 3 weeks and each time the exact same thing happened. We had just moved into a new construction home and wanted to get landscaping done as soon as possible. Olson Outdoors wasted our time for an entire month from their lack of communications.

I can’t give enough praise to Olson outdoors and Brian! I had a sprinkler project that I just didn’t have time to tackle and Brian came through quickly to get me set up at a good price. I highly recommend Olson to anyone looking for lawn care! Great experience

Brandon and the Olson Lawn Care team have been amazing to work with! We hired them to do a big landscaping project of our front and back yard. From the very beginning, the whole process was incredibly smooth. Brandon and team are very professional, organized, great attention to detail, very knowledgeable and have great communication, which I think sets them apart from other companies. They were incredibly easy to work with and I am incredibly happy with the way everything turned out. I have recommended them to our friends and our friends have all been incredibly happy with the service provided by Olson Lawn. Even after our project wrapped up, Brandon has been available and a great resource for me with any new questions/projects that have come up. I highly recommend Brandon and Olson Lawn Care and will continue to recommend them to our friends.

My family has been using this company since I was a little kid. Their company values family and it can be seen when they treat their customers with the utmost respect. Whenever I send an email with questions regarding the work that needs to be done on my yard. They respond with due diligence and always provide quality service.

Having Olson Outdoors just down the street is a game-changer. It feels like you're working with a neighbor, not just a random company.

Read the company’s response to its reviews. Never any ownership or inquiry as to a poor review. They only react defensively. Always the customers fault, and at times even belittle the writer.
This is the #1 sign of a company that doesn’t have nor understand customer service or care.
No better than any other big company. Does not explain your services to you well. Not upfront about what you are signing up for. Surprises you with bills for unexpected services.
Tried them because they were “family owed”…. Well certainly doesn’t feel that way.
Stay away, find someone local.
The young lady, Ashley, chuckled at me on the phone when I called to inquire about what this bill was I was receiving.
Customer service is a serious low here.

The initial estimate took a couple days longer than expected to get, but it was worth the wait for the detailed plan and transparent pricing. No surprises.

The waiting area has this really cool, rustic feel with comfy chairs and the smell of fresh coffee. It just feels like a place that knows what they're doing.

The sense of relief when they finished the job on time and on budget was immense. It just feels good to work with honest, hardworking people.
