Wasn't home. Give him a $5 tip

When we started service 2 years ago the grass in our back yard was almost dead with numerous bare spots & now it has almost completely returned. We are very pleased with the intelligence displayed by the technicians that service our property.

Not worth the money for what you get. Sounds personalized but they do nothing unique. I feel like the techs that come out could care less about the job or if any product actually worked. Last time I paid $200+ for multiple services, grass seed never went down, still waiting for call back about it.

The key difference for Fit Turf is their knowledgeable and personable technicians. They know what they're doing but they are always willing to take the time to explain the what and why behind any procedure...and to suggest additional improvements...and all at very fair prices.

Ron has been handling our lawn for some time now and nice job with it. He is very professional and doesn't up sell at all. He recommends just what is needed to have a beautiful lawn. Ron is also very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Thank you for all your help for caring about my lawn and making sure my comments and concerns are taking care of.

Fitturf does an awesome job, my lawn looked like gaaarrrrbbbaaaaggggeeee a year ago and now it is full and vibrant! They show up when expected, leave a detailed description of services performed, and how you can shift your daily/weekly routine to keep your lawn looking great. Laura Gassino was really helpful in helping me update my payment info updated to keep things smooth and easy. Thanks Fitturf, you rock!

Scam of a company! Charged me for service I never received and then said it was too late to offer the service for the season. They should be ashamed of themselves! The economy is already hard and they should feel ashamed doing this to people

If you get quoted a reasonable, pay as you go price, be weary. My reasonable quote was followed with, you will see some emails, they may talk about "plans" but you can disregard. I don't recommend you do, because that reasonable price doubles and triples really fast. When you call you just hear, "yeah but we did.."
Oh an BTW, If you are thinking you will be fine with that so long as your yard gets better.. don't plan on it. No change, lots of $$ and useless notes left by the person telling you to rake and water. Jeez, I never thought about watering my yard?!?!? -
My primary and continuing service from Fit Turf is for insecticide injections for my giant ash tree to prevent the emerald ash borers. I have also used them for lawn weed control, fertilization and aeration in the past, before I decided to eliminate turf grass all together. Easy to deal with and prompt, professional, courteous service.

The service we pre-paid over $1,000 for the year, and now the customer service in response to their absolute lack of work has been extremely disappointing.
We hired them for ONLY weed control. When I put out a request on home advisor and I got a call I told them we wouldn't be a good fit because they I mentioned multiple times that we wanted our weeds PULLED, but the guy guaranteed me that with the yearly seasonal spraying that weeds would not even exist. We live on ten acres, so I really needed him to be sure that they could handle it, and after looking at google maps he assured me that the weeds would be under control.
Our weeds are OUT OF CONTROL, and have been. They havent been under control at all.
I called them multiple times to tell them that we have 4-6 feet weeds that are taking over our entire yard, and we have a wedding at our house in a month. They were willing to send someone out each time I called and they would do that, but after two service calls for the weeds being out of control, NONE HAVE DIED.
They are only growing and continue to take over our flower beds, our mulch, and all other bed and border areas. No exxageration they are almost taller than me. Even if they could kill them now (which i think its been proven, they cant) we would have to deal with all the dead weeds because they are so large...
Seeing how this has been an ongoing frustration, especially because they assured me the weeds would be dead in 2 weeks after each call, we called to see if we could get a credit, or get next year for free since we now have to pay someone else to come pull the weeds for over $1,000, all they said was "sorry you are not satisfied"
Well, considering we pre-paid for a service that we did not receive, i would say a sorry does not cut it.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. -
Fit Turf was recommended by a neighbor and I’m very glad he did. After years of struggle, my lawn has never looked better. I haven’t seen a weed in 2 yrs and the yard is very healthy and green. They are also good at giving suggestions on watering and cutting. This has been a big help.

Erik was friendly, punctual and took his time!

One star is being very generous!! We have used them for a few years and hoped they would get better...sad to say they did not! They have killed a portion of our yard twice due to some highly skilled technician not being able to keep the fertilizer contained. They have been out to "assess" the damage and said they would re-sod the dead area asap...3 weeks later and no sod, not quite what in would call asap. Upon their recommendation they gave a tree of ours a nutrient boost..shocker that's dead too. The only thing they haven't killed was the weeds...

Great customer service! I spoke with Ken and Sara today and was able to get a thorough explanation of my renewal quote as well as options for savings and necessary services. The techs I’ve had in past are timely and always leave notes updating me on the lawn and any concerns or improvements! Thanks guys!

We have used Fit Turf for several years now, and have found their services to be great. They offer a series of lawn and tree care services, and will work with a customer to meet specific needs and fill special requests. Their technicians and service crews are knowledgable and friendly, and are quick to offer recommendations for improved lawn and tree care. Strongly recommended.

Chose to go with FitTurf because of the great sales call. I was told that they don't recommend a core aeration in the spring and that a chemical aeration would improve my lawn. I was told the technicians would offer suggestions on how to improve my lawn.
I applied seed down in my weed infested backyard and applied my own weed and feed. Aeration service was the reason I started using their services.
I chose to have Fit Turf start a fertilization schedule in my front yard in the spring time as well as do a aeration service front and back.
It took 7 weeks for them to come out and do the chemical aeration. After multiple voicemails and no returned calls, the service was finally performed.
I have noticed more weeds in the front yard after their service than in the back where I applied my big box treatment.
I was excited to receive advice on how to make my front better after winter with all the brown spots, but the advice I got the first treatment was "grass is stressed" with a recommendation to water more. I water every day, sometimes twice.
After they came and applied the chemical aeration, the technician said they recommend a core aeration and an overseed. I was slightly upset because the sales person said it was better to do a chemical.
Now, the brown spots are spreading all over the front and weeds are emerging again in the front. The backyard is going well and I think I wasted money on the chemical aeration and fertilization.
I discontinued service through a phone call. They asked why, and I told them about the grass in the front yard turning brown and that the only advice they really offered was to water more. They told me there will be no more service and didn't offer any sympathy or resolution.
I have seen other reviews that people have called and service needed to be cancelled in writing, but there was no contract saying that and the person on the phone did not say that. -
In early May they sprayed round up to kill weeds on the borders but also sprayed a 3x3 area of my lawn effectively killing it. When I sent a photo and complaint they denied causing it and even denied that it was dead. They said a fungus treatment would fix it and promised to look at it closely and discuss it further. They sprayed for fungus but never spoke to me. When I cancelled them, their standard email said they didn't know why I ended their services. Uh, read your email and pay attention! The lawn is still dead two months later, an eyesore, right in front. No refund, no discount, no apology, just denial. Now I am am reseeding it and spending money to water it heavily for the grass to sprout.

We have used this service for a few years. The last time the tech showed he never got out of the truck. When my husband called to let the company know they were defensive. When I called today I spoke with Sara and she stated they have trackers on their trucks and we have to pay. Sara confirmed the tech was parked outside for 7 minutes according to the tracker. This lawn has never looked so bad, it’s got yellow spots, drying faster than it should and ant hills popping up every. Sara stated she would discount half of the charge but why pay for services not rendered? We were here, door open, he never got out of the truck. Don’t be scammed by this company, their tech can literally show up, set in the truck and then it’s assumed you got your services.

Half of my backyard is now dirt. I hired these guys thinking I could pay them to keep my backyard in top shape, and never need to think about it again. Half my yard turned brown last summer, and the techs failed to diagnose (or even notice?) the issue. It turns out it was leaf blight, and once I told THEM about it, they upsold me on treatment package, which didn't help at all. Within a couple months, the grass had completely died and started turning to dirt from my dog running around on it. Now I need to re-sod half the yard (I wish I was exaggerating), or I might just plant crabgrass seed, since that seems to be growing great without any water or maintenance.
If you care about your yard, just do it yourself, or hire someone else. Even if you know nothing about lawn care, you'll do it better than these guys. I've never had such a bad experience of hiring "experts" of any kind.
This is very much a sales-focused organization, not a results-focused one. -
Start of last year and before using FitTurf, about 1/3 of our grass was dying or dead. Come to find out it was mites. They worked on it last year and it got better. They continued with the treatment during the winter. This year my yard is amazing. My grass is thick and growing very well. I am also using less then 1/2 the water I used last year. Thank you Fit Turf for an amazing job.

I advise strongly NOT to hire this company.
1) They called me based on a search on Home advisor. I hadn't asked for them to contact me
2) Ryan gave a very hard sell, promising to save my tree without even seeing it.
3) He asked for my credit card # before I met personally with anyone from Fit Turf! I said I would not give financial information to a stranger. He said, "That's the way it is."
4) I talked him into sending me an invoice for the work before starting. It said that they use a tree spray with Imidacloprid, which is HIGHLY TOXIC TO BEES.
