Constraction reviews in Centennial, Colorado

Doug and his team are amazing! I’m very satisfied with the work that they did very professionally and finished the job before due date and always left the job area clean and tidy. I highly recommend Doug to any of your home projects. I will definitely hire Doug again in the future projects at my house. Thank you Doug and the crew for your amazing work 😃

A neighbor recommended Dodd Construction, so we asked them to make a bid for our kitchen remodel. Doug had lots of great ideas and his bid was competitive, so we hired him. We have no regrets. His team was easy to work with and focused on quality. His crew always showed up on time and put in a full day. He overdelivered and exceeded our expectations. We’d hire Dodd Construction again.

I would highly recommend Dodd Construction for your home remodeling and finishing projects. Doug and his crew were timely and respectful; and they did excellent, high quality work at a fair price. The group showed up when they said they would and completed the work (and craftsmanship) above our expectations. We finished a section of our basement, in an older home, and the space has been beautifully transformed into one that we love!

I would highly recommend working with Doug and his team for any project you have on the horizon. He remodeled two complete floors of our tri-level home, to include moving walls, renovating 3 bathrooms, upgrading all the flooring, concrete repair, new concrete and significant electrical repair. Doug had great attention to detail and wonderful follow through. Whenever any issues arose, Doug worked with us to make it right and stood behind his work. Doug has a great team that is very skilled and works efficiently. Doug has great respect for the project timeline and manages the workload accordingly. The construction zone was always left clean and everyone was very respectful & easy to work with. Doug had a great eye throughout the project to help us fix underlying issues, offer solutions we hadn’t thought of, and was always conscious of our budget. We couldn’t be happier with how the project turned out. Doug will be our first call for any of our future needs, whatever they may be, because he handles it all!!

Dodd Construction did a fantastic job on our basement remodel. We will most certainly use them again. We received bids from several companies and it was Dodd that listened to what we wanted. Best of all, Doug worked with our budget and we were able to get exactly what we wanted. Dodd Construction was truly great to work with. They stuck to their timelines and kept us informed on the progress. They were flexible with changes we wanted. Doug and his crew are professional, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly.

Dodd construction just finished our basement and we are thrilled with how it turned out - especially the custom barn door. Doug, the owner, was reliable, hard working, and had excellent communication throughout the process. He helped achieve our vision for our new space while working within our budget. Doug's team was wonderful, professional, and courteous. They finished the job faster than initially estimated and on budget. They made sure we were happy with each step of the project and put our satisfaction first. We strongly recommend them and will definitely hire them again for future projects.

Doug and his team did an awesome job on a complete remodel of our main living floor last spring. The work has held up very well and every day we're grateful for our "new" home. Completely remodeled bathrooms, kitchen, replaced all flooring, knocked out walls, removed popcorn ceiling, added ceiling lights all over, replaced all doors, and custom built a new code-compliant stair railing, all within a hard three-month deadline.

His entire team and subcontractors are well-seasoned pros and were a pleasure to work with. Doug spent significant time helping us with some design ideas and overcoming small problems along the way. His and his team's experience really benefited us in the million little decisions needed on a major remodel. There were a couple of things that weren't perfect. Doug wasn't on-site as often as I'd like. There were a few times that I caught something done incorrectly (or not done) because I was around when Doug wasn't. Not a major problem, but worth mentioning (and easily dealt with by adding a contract clause if desired). Secondly, our experience with the painters was pretty dreadful. Doug warned us that could be the case (I won't go into why), but in the end he was able to get them to complete the work properly and made sure results were as promised. If I had another project for them, I'd consider hiring my own painters. But considering the scope of the project, we were still very pleased with the overall results and experience. We would definitely hire them again.

We were lucky to find Doug and his team through a neighbor. Doug and his team, as well as his subcontractors did an excellent job on our Kitchen and Master Bath Renovation. Doug was great at fielding our barage of questions and addressing and solving problems as they came up. He was easy to communicate with and toss around ideas with. He is fair and sticks to his word. He even hires a cleaner to clean areas where work was done. A really nice touch.
His team, Ryleigh, John and Alan that did the carpentry, cabinet install, baseboards and general contract work were excellent, with great attention to detail, were respectful and all around great guys. The tile work was done by Louie Contreras of Contreras Tile that Doug subcontracts with, and he did excellent work also. Plumber was good and electrical also. Doug managed the group of professionals well to get things done in a timely fashion and stick to timelines. We are very pleased with our new kitchen and master bath and highly recommend Doug and his team.

Doug thanks for the tremendous work. You and the guys arrived on time daily, set the proper expectations and always cleaned up after yourselves. You were kind and courteous. AND, what a transformation!

Doug and his team recently did a major remodel of my house. Doug was very good about helping shape the project from the very beginning with his expertise and know-how. He has a pride in quality and ensured his team was not cutting corners or doing a sub-par job. He even worked with us when we were overseas at the end and was great at communicating updates along the way. We are extremely happy with the results and would recommend him to anyone.

Dodd Construction just finished another project for me. They originally completed my master bath remodel last spring, I was impressed with their work so hired them again this summer to revamp my living room fireplace as well as numerous other improvements including painting my kitchen, replacing all my interior doors as well as changing out all of my electrical sockets and light switches. Since I have numerous home improvements I want to do Mr. Dodd worked with me to figure out which improvements fit within my current budget. I will definitely hire them again when I decide to complete my next round of improvements.

Dodd Construction remodeled our 1976 primary bath, and we couldn’t be happier with the process and outcome. Doug and his tradespeople were very detailed, professional and produce top notch work. Communication was great as any questions or concerns were addressed in a timely manner. Doug completed the project not only on time but on budget. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dodd Construction and will use on any future projects.

If you’re looking for a reliable and competent contractor, I recommend Dodd Construction. Doug and his crews tackled two problems for us. His concrete crew replaced a large section of the base of our front porch. It looks great. They worked efficiently under Doug‘s direction and cleaned everything up before they left. We also had Doug deal with a large crack repair in our cathedral ceiling. His painters were very particular about protecting our furniture, floors, and anything that wasn’t involved in the section of the house they were painting. They took on a difficult job and handled it thoughtfully and professionally. Doug personally oversees each project before, during and after. I wouldn’t hesitate to call on him again if the need arises.

We hired Doug Dodd and his team of experts to remodel our Guest Bath and Master bath. The guest bath was just an update with new tub, flooring, and tile.

The master bath was a complete remodel... taking walls out, installing a new wall and door where pony wall previously existed. Redoing the plumbing and electrical to install/relocate a double vanity, medicine caps and lights. Also involved swapping where the previous shower and toilet were located resulting in the need to reconfigure the stack.

It also involved removing popcorn ceilings and retexturing/painting the entire space.

The work was top notch. Doug is very detail oriented and picks up areas for rework until he is happy with the results. He hires a skilled team of other trades such as electrical, plumbing, and tile. All are very friendly, respectful and professional.

We could not be happier and would recommend Doug and his team for any construction or remodeling projects you have in mind.

Cost was very competitive and he listens and works with the client to meet expectations.

The company is very professional and courteous. Good to work with a family run company that's trustworthy. I have recommended them many times.

I accidently gave this company 2 starts on accident. I dont even know how it happened. The owner then contacted me and was very respectful in asking i remove it since we hadnt done buissness. Good people, good buissness

These guys are fast and do an amazing job. Highly recommend. I had them patch some walls, they did my both my brothers basements. Imaculate job!!!

DCH Construction did an amazing job with our basement! It turned out exactly how we wanted and far exceeded our expectations!!

DCH did our basement and it turned out fantastic. It's now my favorite place in the house. They did my sister's basement and just finished a friend's basement too. All turned out beautiful. I highly recommend.

What a breath of fresh air to work with a 'family organization' who truly cares about quality. Superb workmanship -- loved working with everyone. The subs were all very good to work with. Know how to deal with issues that may arise. From the initial design through completion all steps were extremely prompt and thorough. Completed on time (record time). QUALITY + FAIR + PROMPT = DCH CONSTRUCTION
