I never thought of concrete contractors as artists until I met Joe. One look at his work and you'll see why. We needed a new concrete patio for our new hot tub. And took several bids. Some contractors are content to do the minimum by spec; not Joe. He showed up when he said he would; answered all our questions; helped us pick a color and delivered a beautiful patio. I stand by my strong recommendation for J&M.

Called Joe to schedule a bid. He is extremely professional and courteous.
He came out and explained step by step what the work entailed and how long the project would take. We have used other concrete companies in the past and have not been impressed with there customer service and work performed. I feel comfortable using this company knowing that the work will be done right and we will be getting excellent customer service along the way.

We don't normally post reviews, however we thought it good to post our recent experience with Joe. We had some projects that we thought needed to be done with concrete. We had heard about J&M Concrete from our painter and called them for some quotes. When Joe came to see what we wanted, he did something that we rarely see these days...he convinced us that concrete was not the best route for our projects and gave us some excellent advice (worth much more than the $30 quote fee) on how to accomplish what we wanted more cost effectively. Integrity. Even though we found we did not need his services this time, we feel that when we do, J&M Concrete will do us right.

J&M more than exceeded my expectations, right from the start. He was extremely professional with the quote, educational. Really helped me to understand the whole process. Always quick to reply to communications. The job is truly top notch, their entire team was very professional, knew what they were doing, and did their job amazingly. To start with, a person (Joe) answered the phone, not a machine. A big plus! I was able to book an onsite quote for just days later and when we had a mixup with our meeting, Joe drove across town to keep our appt. Great customer service!

I can't begin to show my gratitude to meg and joe. We had another contractor start and not finish. We were stuck and needed someone to help us with our patio. Joe came the same day to give us a quote. Assured us he would fix the mistakes from the previous guy. And leave us with a beautiful patio. Even though we had to wait for our turn because they were booked out 2 months. The end result was far better than what we were expecting. J&M Concrete did an excellent job building a sister wall along one of our foundation walls. Through every step of the process, Joe was extremely communicative and easy to talk to. They were even able to start our project early due to a cancellation and completed the project on schedule. Although I do not know much about concrete, I could tell through our interactions and by watching them, that they were putting a lot of care into the job. Our new wall looks beautiful! Also, Joe was very flexible with all of our requests/questions and dealing with the fact that we live on a very steep hill. He seemed to take what others would see as an annoyance as a welcomed challenge and he always had such a positive attitude every time I checked in on the progress. Overall, J&M concrete's work was punctual, professional, meticulous, and done for the agreed upon price. I definitely would recommend them if you want a high quality company you can trust to do the job right.

Joe has a huge personality and provides great pleasure to the business process. There were thick & vieney vines where I wanted to extend my patio surface. Joe used his tool and great skills to make quick work of preping the overgrown area. Joe and his team are truly the best in the business, and definitely know how to please a customer. Joe and the rest of the J&M team did a spectacular job on our front porch and steps. Joe was patient while we went through the design phase, offering suggestions and answering all of our questions. During the build phase his crew was professional and left the job site clean and safe. This location is a very challenging location due to the narrow 1 car wide street with a dead end. and Joe did everything he could to work in a tight space and not interfere with traffic and neighbors access to their properties from excavation to concrete delivery. The follow through on informing us how to care for the patio was thorough and complete. Highly recommend this professional crew. They care about your project. And to Joe, a thank you to you and your crew!

Start to finish, just a good experience.

We'd gotten 3 quotes to replace our old cracked driveway. Joe's was actually the highest, but he seemed to be very honest about it and we value quality. I also do take Google reviews into consideration when choosing contractors and was pleasantly surprised to see his all 5 stars.

He showed up on time (super early actually....they were here between 6:30-7 most of the days), seemed to do a fast, efficient, and good job, and kept the work site clean. Rang the doorbell to keep us updated a few times, but was also very self-sufficent if we could not be home. I also appreciated the heads up on what the next steps were.

We still need to check the sprinkler system, but a pleasant surprise was that it appears to be a lot less damage than we expected (he warned us that this may need to be redone due to proximity to the work area)

Getting our driveway redone was something we were truly dreading due to cost. But we are pleased we did as it instantly helps with curb appeal. Having a good honest high quality contractor helped so much with the process and we are glad we went with j&m!

Joe came in short notice and finished my back deck after another contractor had to be fired. He was very professional and answered all questions. If I could give J & M a 10 I would!! Don't even think about hiring another contractor for your concrete needs.

Joe was amazing to work with. After receiving and reviewing multiple estimates, reading through a multitude of online reviews, and speaking with the various individuals, I decided on J&M as they were a good middle ground in terms of price and estimated time of completion. I believe in getting what you pay for, but I don't lean towards the higher-end as a lot of them leverage large teams of people and the quality may vary amongst them, or some try to upcharge me thinking I don't understand the effort or actual work required for the project. Joe was very honest and professional about what needed to be done about my patio and driveway and I never felt like he was trying to upcharge me or oversell his services. It's also seemed a little off on why J&M had nothing but 5-star reviews, but, after working with them and seeing the end results, I can now see why. Would 100% recommend to my friends and family for sure!!

Nearly 100 reviews and all of them are five-star ratings? That just never happens. Well, here's another one, Joe. It's been a few weeks since our gorgeous patio was constructed, and it's absolutely perfect. We have ZERO complaints with the J&M team, the project and the finished product.

Joe and his wife and dad are awesome to work with -- honest, professional, personable and punctual.

We've hired plenty of contractors over the years, and plenty of them were terrific. But I can say without hesitation that J&M has been the absolutely best of them all.

Even if you don't need concrete work, get some done anyway:) J&M is that good!
