My friend had a wonderful experience with Blue Raven Solar. I wish I could say the same. I was so optimistic at first but quickly figured out that it was all about profits. I was originally told that our main electrical panel at our house needed to be replaced. The quote was for $7000. When the electricians came they said that our panel had already been replaced to a 200amp panel so it was not necessary to replace it. So they did their work on the meter box and the Blue Raven Solar still billed us for replacing our main panel even though it was not replaced. They dropped the bill to $5200 but would not go any lower. So in the end we paid $5200 for Blue Raven to NOT replace our main panel. I would and am telling everyone I know to stay away from Blue Raven Solar. Nobody needs that kind of screwing!

Miguel with Sun Power Energy was the only company that did not ask for money up front to fix my solar system when it quit generating power. Many companies would not work on my system because the original company had gone out of business. Miguel followed up on the warranty. Other companies wouldn’t. He gave me a fair bid for labor and held to that bid. Sun Power Energy is great.

I recommend Sun Power Energy 100%! Miguel and his team are educated and dedicated to providing exactly what a customer needs. I am completely satisfied with our system, and Miguel goes the extra mile to make certain you understand how everything works. Very affordable, and great customer service!

Miguel Silva knows solar! 1st of all the 2 companies I had install my panels were long gone and out of business, but Miguel from Sun power energy saved the day! I called 3 different solar companies for help with my non- producing panels & Miguel was the only person that called me back! He promptly checked the panels found what was wrong, then steered me to the company insurance I needed to reach out to about my warranty. I received a settlement for the non- producing panels & Sun power energy replaced all my panels & optimizers with BETTER equipment w/ NO out of pocket cost!! I cannot say enough positive about Miguel and his knowledge, professionalism, promptness, most of all his kindness. I called him at ten minutes to close yesterday and he made time to come and check my non producing system early this morning. He had us up and running again in very little time. He did not install our system but was willing to help. He was also willing to teach me what to look for. If we ever upgrade to batteries I will be calling this company. Truly an expert in his field. Sun Power Energy is a home run, touchdown, and goal all wrapped up together!
We needed a roof replacement along with solar remove/replace. Miguel Silva initially provided the best estimate for the solar remove/replace, then came back with a bid for the roof that beat three other dedicated roofing companies - the numbers weren't even close.
Miguel kept us well-informed of everything that was happening throughout the project - we never had any surprises. He discussed with us any changes or new developments before he took action.
Miguel's solar and roofing teams were punctual, efficient, meticulous, knowledgeable, professional, and fast. They got everything done in between windows of bad weather (springtime in Colorado Springs) with zero delays. Everything passed the county inspections on the first visit.
Seriously, Miguel is one of the best contractors we've ever worked with for home repairs. We're continuing on with him and Sun Power Energy for a solar battery installation . . . update to follow.

Miguel recently completed a grid connected 12 K.W. Solar system, 10 K.W. Battery and EV Charger. This system is ground mounted. Miguel also managed to have a new shed installed on the property for the solar and having that shed wired properly for the power company and to our needs as well. Miguel was very attentive to the needs of our system, as we pursue a more sustainable agriculture concept, and helped bring them together. The working conditions were sometimes difficult, and unforeseen challenges arose during the process. Miguel was patient, committed, knowledgeable and professional throughout the process, found solutions rapidly and stuck to his initial bid. Miguel’s communication through the project was excellent and work was completed in a timely manner. We are happy that we made Miguel our solar contractor and know who to call if our needs change.

I can't express enough how much you should find a different solar power company than Sun Power or any of its affiliates like Blue Raven Solar. They will make financial promise they will not keep. They will offer you deals they will not honor. Their accounting team a will ignore your emails and calls. There's a reason why they lost their BBB rating. IF you're going solar find another installer and save yourself the heart ache.

I was very pleased with the sales time, the installation team and communication UNTIL>>>>> there was an issue connecting the system to the local electric grid. So far I have made at least a dozen phone calls, 40 texts, 2 online ticket submissions and a few emails desperately trying to get a hold of the company, and no one has followed through to get the system energized. Meanwhile I am paying on the loan AND still paying my electric bill. SHAME ON YOU (SUN/POWER and BLUE RAVEN) for your horrible post-installation customer service. Seems your happy once you get your money and then dump the customer.

Miguel was great. I called him about my solar not working and the company that installed mine went bankrupt. He said he could service my system and he came out the same day to check it out. He had great low prices compared to other companies for diagnosing and labor for any work needed. When I got home he was there and had already placed a warranty order for my inverter which he diagnosed as the problem and that needed to be replaced. Once the part came in within 2 weeks, he got me on his schedule within the next 2 days. He had it replaced and my solar and up and running within 2 hours and explained a lot about the inverter to me. I will definitely use him for all my future solar needs.
