Two young gentleman came in to my home during their agreed upon time frame (next day!) and did a wonderful job, particularly addressing a troublesome area on my downstairs carpet that suffered some recent water damage. Customer service skills were excellent and both did their jobs with professionalism and skill. Very happy with the results.

I had a fantastic experience with Chris and Dean from Stanley Steemer! They were punctual, professional, and extremely thorough with their cleaning. From the moment they arrived, they were friendly and explained the entire process, making sure I felt comfortable with everything. The sectional and my dinning chairs look and smell amazing, like new again! You can really tell they take pride in their work and care about customer satisfaction. I recently bought a house that had disgusting carpets. After 5 hours with a rug doctors and the water was still coming out black I knew I needed professionals. The company came right away and were done within a hour. My whole basement looks almost new. The odors and stains are nearly completely gone. I would highly recommend paying a professional to clean your carpets. It will save your back (from moving a rug doctor around for hours) and sanity. The guys who came to clean were polite and professional. And Stanley offers military discount which is nice.

Summary: Brian and Cameron were overly pushy, called me inappropriate names instead of my real name, upsold me unnecessary services, had no regard for the home, and kept quiet about breaking the front-door floor plate and security signage.

Full story: When we moved into our rental home, I noticed that the owners/prior occupants had not done a very thorough cleaning. Before the furniture arrived, I contacted Stanley Steemer after seeing an ad and coupon in a mailer. There were other companies to choose from, but since I had never contracted this kind of service before, I went with the well-known name brand.

They arrived and I showed them the two rooms I wanted cleaned. The coupon was 4 rooms for $199, yet the total was over $300 due to their deceptive, unnecessary upselling. Even though it was two rooms (a main bedroom and the basement living room), I was ok with paying $199 for these areas. They both commented on what great shape the downstairs carpet was in, but then proceeded to tell me I needed to pay extra for a special cleaning enzyme. While they went to work, I was busy in the kitchen, not realizing the mess they were making in the front yard and in the entryway.

When they were packing up, the foreman came to me with his smart pad and continually called me pet names such as "hon" and "dear"--it was awful. I signed the computer and as I went to close the door, I noticed their giant hose had not only messed up the front pathway, causing dirt and rocks to be strewn all over, but they'd also managed to break the security sign that had been posted in the front yard. To top it off, they had broken the front door floor plate, parts of which I found in the driveway, where they had dragged it with their hose.

I notified the company of this via the survey but have yet to hear back. Needless to say, I will not be using this company again due to the severe lack of professionalism and deceptive trade practices.

Had Stanley Steemer clean my carpet in the family room area, outstanding job and great equipment. The two technicians were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I will use them again.

I added the reasonably priced and professional Area Protect with Super Shield because I have a 4 legged pet of course. Brian and Joshua represent everything I've heard and now know about Stanley Steemer - exceptional customer service, fast work, and wonderful, new carpet looking results. 5 Thumbs Up and we will be using the Stanley Steemer folks again next year for sure!

I had an excellent experience with Terrence this morning. He was incredibly efficient, and he worked quickly. After inspecting the house, I am pretty satisfied with everything. He cleaned all of the carpeted areas in the house, which include about 6 to 7 rooms and one set of carpeted stairs. It cost $264 for the whole house. I felt that that was a reasonable price comparable to what other companies were quoting me.
