Updated in 2025 (added a star): We had a roof leak right by the solar installation. Brian and the Bestway Machanical team were very responsive this time and came right out to try to help troubleshoot the leak. Much different than last time when we couldn't get hold of them for weeks at a time.

Originally posted in 2020 (1 star): Oh how I wished I would have read/taken these reviews into account before getting solar installation done by Bestway Mechanical! Please take heed of this info and our (and it sounds like multiple other people's) experience if you are thinking about using Bestway Mechanical.

We got SunPower panels installed, and SunPower pointed us towards Bestway Mechanical. SunPower needs to reconsider who they have do installs in the area as the entire process from start to finish was an absolute nightmare!

We started the process early in the year 2020, so there were some delays from that. However, it took us until September (with the process starting in February) to get our solar panels installed. Like some of the other reviews said, Bestway Mechanical did the initial quote, then it was like pulling teeth to get a hold of them after that (unless they were trying to get paid, in which case they were very eager to respond).

Our experience was terrible from the start. The quote and order for work meetings went well, and we were quoted a 3-4 week estimate of when our solar would be up and running - and made the huge mistake of paying them a 25% down payment. Then COVID lockdowns happened, and we heard absolute silence from Bestway Mechanical. For months. We seriously thought the company was a straight up scam for parts of the 7 months it took to get a small solar install done. I finally started emailing and calling every Bestway Mechanical contact we had been given. Loooooooooong story short, after pressuring Bestway Mechanical to do the work by directly calling and getting SunPower involved in the conflict (SunPower was extremely embarrassed and apologetic and said that the things we'd put up with Bestway Mechanical should have never ever happened), Bestway Mechanical finally subcontracted everything out and got it finished. Except that it was done with mistakes. For example, they (or their subcontractor) swapped around our breakers in the breaker box - then forgot to label any of the breakers. After they failed inspection, the electrician literally opened the door to our home and walked in without asking - in the middle of COVID lockdowns - to see if we had any mailing envelope labels that he could scribble lables on in our breaker box.

Bestway Mechanical also said that we would receive our rebate check from Colorado Springs Utilities within two months of completion. We're well past that, so I am left back at square one reaching out and hoping they respond to me. Oh, and they took so so long doing the install that during that time period (Feb - Sept 2020) Colorado Springs Utilities changed the amount that it rebates, so I lost money there as well.

All of the above long review (it was worth writing - it was truly the worst and longest customer experience disaster I'd ever experienced) hopefully gives some context and awareness for anyone thinking about getting solar through Bestway Mechanical.

Mark came to service and repair our geothermal system that hadn't been working right since we bought the house 9 months ago. We had someone else come out twice and put a bandaid on it... but not fix it. Mark took the time to go through the whole system, and not only properly clean and service it, but find the root problem and fix it. I can't tell you how great it was to wake up to a house that was warm comfortable and quiet like it should be!
Price was reasonable and they honored thier quote... even when he ended up spending nearly 12 hours when all was said and done.
He was on time and professional and pleasant. I would use them again for hvac in a heartbeat for myself of my real estate clients. AND they came down to Pueblo West... and finding someone to properly service geothermal here was no small task!

Overall a great experience. Tim did a great job and was very thorough. He was also very friendly.

Misleading information from this company. Poor customer service. I will not be recommending Moster Vac to any of my real estate clients. I will also be filing a complaint with BBB.

My ducts have never been cleaner! Tim was respectful and efficient. They earned themselves a life long costumer! :)

I am SO glad I chose monstervac to clean my home. Professional office team and quote for my home. Tech was early and ready to get to work.... You would not believe how much junk they pulled out of my HVAC system. My home smells and feels so much cleaner. I was so impressed with the work I am having them clean my businesses HVAC systems too.

I just wish I would have done this sooner.

Although I did not go with Affordable Plumbing I was super impressed by Joe's knowledge and professionalism. he gave me several alternatives for a water heater replacement. He spent time with me explaining both a tankless and traditional system that I had. Affordable came highly recommended even by my neighbor who had used their services in the past. I strictly went for lowest price.

Noticed a leak coming from the ceiling in our garage (on a Sunday, of course), contacted them and they were out on Monday morning, did lots of poking around and discovered the problem was our dishwasher (thank goodness no busted pipes or anything). The great capstone to this story is that we weren't charged anything by Affordable Plumbing, Heat and Electrical! Most places will absolutely ding you for a service/diagnostic call. We are looking forward to giving them our business in the future because sure as rain...stuff happens!

I'm really happy with the excellent service I received from Matt. He was really nice and explained every thing after he checked my furnace since I was concerned about a burnt smell. I'm glad everything is okay with my furnace. Thank you so much Matt. Happy New Year!!!

Our tech, Ben, is an absolute champion. He knows his stuff, communicated effectively and worked efficiently. I’ll definitely be recommending him and the Affordable Team to friends, family and colleagues.

I have used affordable on several occasions over the past few years and have always been very satisfied. Our most recent experience was a small plumbing problem that Gage came out and repaired for us. Consistent with all of our experiences with Affordable in the past, Gage Was punctual, friendly, and professional in every way. He fixed the problem, efficiently and double checked his work when he was finished to ensure that there were no leaks, Charging the previously agreed-upon price. I highly recommend affordable to anyone needing plumbing or electrical work in their home.

The first time I called your company, we got an employee named Thomas who was thorough, knowledgeable, and patient with all my questions. So we requested him a second time today for a different issue. Once again he didn't let us down with his knowledge and thoroughness in completing this job. We will ask for him again and again! Thank you for having such a great employee on your staff! He's an asset!

Had major plumbing problems, called, Jeff really has gone out of his to help us and brought the cost down to were we can get the work done, told Jeff about our thermostat not working he called Corey from same company to see about the thermostat and he came over same day and fixed the problem. 5 star all the way. Jeff and Corey a #1. We will be customers for life absolutely. Thank you so much, heaven sent Thank you Thank Thank you. Wanted to also thank Gage and partner who came out on Saturday and did the plumbing. Thank you, can't say it enough. You all are the best.

Patrick was incredibly awesome, affordable plumbing has always been helpful, my main line backed up we have an old house, and they were here within 30 minutes. Patrick was helpful the whole way, answered all our questions helped me understand what was wrong and helped me feel better about what we needed. I appreciate the professional approach.

Joe A did a great job. He took on a problem caused by a different company and was able to solve it. Kept the place clean and did a great job. Water heater project.

Fantastic experience today! Ran into an issue with a toilet replacement and they were available same-day to come look at it. Ben was awesome. Ge was professional, informative, and fast! All around great work! 10/10 would recommend.

Our water heater went out after 15 years of operation, so it was at the end of its service life. They came out, replaced the water heater and also upgraded our waterline with a water regulator and expansion tank. Actually improved the functioning of water flow in our house, and the new water heater works great. I knew the price was going to be steep as in 15 years things will have to be updated to the newest codes and the whole job took most of the day. But overall the experience was great and efficient, thank you!

Excellent customer service. Same day appointment, and Cory Knapp was fantastic. Very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend him for any dryer duct issue. He identified the issue, fixed it and checked for other issues. No problems since.

Matt and Patrick were fantastic! I had a major problem with a toilet and they kept at it until everything was figured out and fixed. They explained everything and showed me with a camera what was happening. I appreciate their kindness, patience and knowledge!!! I would give them 10 stars!
