This review is for the extremely rude lady (Jeanie?) who answers your phones. Were you looking for the rudest lady you could find when you found her? Wow. She’s awful.

Been my #1 parts house for decades, this is what all supply houses should try to be like. I don’t know that you’ll find a better or more reliable supplier than Johnstone… As a HVAC contractor I am always running 100 miles per hour to take care of my customers, I really appreciate how they always seem to get my orders picked perfectly! I’m amazed at how quickly they can handle so many contractors that efficiently, tradesmen can be somewhat grumpy when they’re standing at the counter trying to explain what they need… not really a issue with the counter guys at Johnstone, they are extremely knowledgeable about their inventory. When I find myself in a different supply house it reminds of how much I appreciate the people who always seem to just get it right.. Thanks for the hustle boys!!

I have never been treated so well by a supplier. I'm with a roofing company and I wasn't in the system. Brian put me in the system, like it was no problem. We went to do a phone sale and our bank denied the purchase because the order was so big. Brian patiently waited for our office to contact the bank to approve the purchase. Also I wasn't sure what I needed, and after I showed Brian the pictures he knew exactly what I needed and our install went perfect. Instead of Brian being rude to me and tapping his pen on the desk when the card was denied, like any other supplier would do. He pulled my order and it was waiting on me after the card was approved. I think I was in the store for no longer than 30 minutes and had everything I needed.

They are one of the best heating and air conditioning suppliers in denver! They have what you need or will get it.
The biggest problem is now Goodman products are much more than other products like York etc....
But the people there are top notch

Johnstone is singlehandedly the industry standard for product lines, product knowledge, HVAC classes, customer service, and simply how they do things. From the locker system to online ordering, they have not only set the bar high for everyone else, but they've created the bar in which every other supply house strives to reach. You know you're doing something right when competitors recommend you to Johnstone anytime they don’t carry what you're looking for.

I've done business with Johnstone for almost 4 years, and they have been great to work with from day one. From the counter guys, like Christian Alonzo, Anders, Curtis, Terry, Sal, Josh, Eric, Glen, Doron, Shane, Jeff, TJ, and Tim to the guys in Will Call like Jason, they have all been phenomenal to work with and incredibly helpful! Even the folks upstairs on the phones like Karen, Janelle, and Marcia. Just awesome! There have been times when I've simply called Johnstone to ask a question about compatibility or functionality on a product and had no intentions of buying. Yet they were there to help as always!

Johnstone is by no means going to be the cheapest option, though at times they will be, but when you work with Johnstone, there is a sense of quality, knowledge and customer service that you simply don't find at most supply houses.

Sal is hands down the best, and Jeff is a razor shave close second. But they have SOO many Great staff members .
I think the only part that matters in this type of place is the way they handle problems. Because the price is the price. The products are the same. The only time you get to really see a business shine is when there's a problem.

Now, there's definitely not a lot of problems with this place. Anybody who uses a supplier like this knows that problems happen. Every time I come here with a problem, I always leave happier than when I walked in, and by no small measure.

The extra miles the good times the jokes and laughing behavior but not taking things too seriously, but still keeping it business.All of these things are the things that add up to making a place, a great place to visit.

I hate having to go to Home Depot during my work day because it just takes so much time.
But A trip to johnstone as always a mixed emotion, because i'm usually not in denver, so it's about to be a long drive, but I know it's gonna be a great time at the shop 😎

Anders Hillstrom was absolutely awesome! He provided a level of customer service that was way beyond anything I expected. Serious breath of fresh air in a world of no customer service anymore. Johnstone will be my go to feim now on.

Best hvac supplier in town and Shane is always extremely helpful everytime I go in.

Your money isn't good enough for them unless you're a contractor. Literally the part I needed was on a shelf but they wouldn't sell it to me.

UPDATE: The response from the company is total BS. Since when is it the responsibility of a company to make sure the products they sell are installed correctly? They're gate keeping the industry, which is not the smartest move given that anyone can buy these parts online. I would have assumed they'd be smart enough as a brick and mortar to take money where it's offered.

Extremely knowledgeable! Willing to go above and beyond in getting my will call complete in a very reasonable time. Every single person are I have spoken to was respectful, knowledgeable, and timely! Thank you and keep up the great work!

Pointless going to any other parts house. the lads take care of you, none more so then Shane, top bloke with tons of knowledge. Can't go past em.

Shane at the counter, he is 100% my go-to guy. He asks detailed info to double check and cross reference parts to guarantee you get what you need! If you have a choice find him for help!

I have been coming to Johnstone for the last 5+ years now and I want to say that I have never had a bad experience. Although wait times to get to the counter can be high, I have never had a bad experience when working with any individual at the counter. My most recent experience involved Shane P. and he went above any beyond to help me find everything I needed while shopping at Johnstone. From here on out, Shane is going to be my go to individual at the counter based on the experiences I have had with him!

I stop by at Johnstone on a daily basis and All the people at Johnstone are top notch excellent people, they’re always super helpful and very well informed at their job. Shane , Josh, sunny, Christian, Jerry, and the rest of the employees there are very helpful and easy going.

One of the best HVAC supply houses in Denver. Shane, Timmy, Christian, you name it. You can't go wrong with any of their staff. Super professional and they always get me what I need. Would recommend them to anyone!

I just wanted to take some time to commend this supply house as a whole! Definitely without doubt, the best parts warehouse in town. Specifically Josh and Shane. Every time I have a job coming up they go out of their way to make sure I have all the proper fittings and electrical components to complete the job and everything I need to create a properly commissioned installation. Also on a day to day business, this supply house has been so supportive of my company, they take their job seriously and make sure I have the parts I need, they are they parts specialists for any brand of equipment I touch.

I generally like this supply house, most of the staff are friendly and helpful, and I’ve spent tens of thousands here over time. However, my experiences with one employee, Shane Palacios, have consistently been negative. In my visits, he often seems upset or irritated, even when speaking with customers, and my employees have mentioned similar experiences. It feels unprofessional, and I hope management can address it so the overall service stays as good as the rest of the team.

I’ve been coming to Johnstone supply for the last five and a half years. They really are your best bet for trying to locate hard to find parts, finding a good price, and for even a good time! I truly enjoy coming here and get happy to do so. The entire team is extremely helpful. There’s guys with decades of combined experience from guys like tj josh and Jeff. Then you got some of the newer guys like Shane and Sonny who work relentlessly to ensure you have a great experience, and get the correct parts. Much love to Johnstone 10/10 would Johnstone again.

I was let down today. I bought 2 parts for a furnace, but I didn't need either (the existing parts tested fine). The problem came when I tried to return the parts, but I was told they looked like they were tested or hooked up, so no return on 1. So much for loyalty to customers that have spent 10's of thousands of dollars here.
