They arrived within an hour of us calling which was fantastic! However, they don't like to repair units that are 20+ years old and told us that the control board *might* be the problem and wanted to quote a $12k - $18k system. (Funny thing is that both control boards are available locally at Lennox for less than $200 each). Well... we called someone else who is willing to help customers regain their heat the same day instead of pushing for only a sale of a new unit. The second company (who also arrived within an hour of us calling them) correctly diagnosed the issue as a simple safety switch problem due to the spring coming out. We're back up and running for MUCH LESS than $12k lol.

Pretty funny too that I kept asking about safety or pressure switches when Horizon was here. They just dismissed my ideas. Well guess what, it was the inexpensive Safety Switch.

Hoping Horizon does the right thing and issues a refund for the Service Call we paid...

Keith and Jonathan had looked after my old furnace and a/c for a few years before I had them replace the whole system with hi-efficiently units and added a humidifier and it almost cut my monthly bills in half. It was worth it to keep up the annul maintenance contract that covers Spring and Fall cleaning and tune up, plus they are capable of service/flush my on demand hot water heater and garage door. Always professional, arrive on time or early, and available for emergencies. I would always highly recommend Horizon!

We have used Horizon for at least 4 maintenance/repair visit over the last 3-4 years. Both furnace and AC.
In late February, our VERY old furnace went out (the night before a foot + of snow feel on Denver).

#1: They were at our door within an hour of our call.
We weren't surprise to learn that it was time to say goodbye to our 19 year old furnace.
#2: They had their quote specialist at our door with in 30 minutes of making the decision to replace and she offered space heaters for us for the night.
#3: Furnace replaced the next day with a great crew of guys---not only were they on time but they came 30 minutes EARLY in a foot of snow and helped shovel our sidewalks and driveway before they worked all day at our house. Now we are toasty warm!

I see some on reviews mention they may cost a bit more--what is your time, peace of mind, EXCELLENT customer service, and warmth worth?

Planning on using them for a BIG AC replacement later this spring.

We have used Horizon Services for over a decade now on three different homes that we own. I feel they are very honest and knowledgeable about their services. The office staff is always very pleasant and helpful.

I've been glad to be a customer of Horizon since December 2010, when I noticed a leak in my water heater. I've been on their monthly maintenance plan ever since--they proactively contact me twice a year for my AC and heater checks before the summer and winter. The technicians are always pleasant and professional, and they are careful in my home--always putting covers on their shoes each time they are in my home. I also enjoy working with the office team who help me quickly, efficiently, and plesantly.

Called Horizon out after our furnace died on us, they were able to diagnose, repair, and get our system back up and running. They even took the time to help us understand and set up a thermostat schedule based on when we are home. Outstanding service and very knowledgeable crew!

I contacted Horizon on a Saturday afternoon after our AC went out. They offered to have someone come at 11 am the next day (Sunday) for no extra trip charge than they charge during the week. I met a technician who arrived at 11 on the dot the next day. He determined that we needed a new AC and furnace since this until was 16 yrs old and the coolant wasn't made any longer. He called a coworker who does estimates and gave her some information about the unit. Even though it was Sunday, and her day off, she offered to come out and measure. We were given 3 options and scheduled the installation for 4 days later. Three professional, articulate, smiling employees arrived at 7:30 am, put on shoe covers and began covering the carpeting where they were going to be working. At 3:30 I got a call that they were finished and they showed me what they had done, how to work the thermostat and they cleaned the whole area and even replaced a vent cover that was missing screws and had fallen down some time ago. They handle the paper work for the $500 Xcel rebate and mail it for you. As they were leaving I heard one guy say to the other ,"Great job today" which told me a lot about their culture. Horizon understands customer service, knows what they are doing technically and hires and trains happy, professional employees. Horizon exceeded my expectations from the first call until they made arrangements for the inspection. I would use Horizon again in a heartbeat.

Our furnace died Feb. 3, at 7:00pm which the night that we got 15 inches of snow and zero degrees during the night. Horizon had installed this furnace 15 years ago so called them at 10:00pm, got their answering service and decided it wasn't an immediate emergency and could wait until the next morning. Horizon called then and had a repair technician at our home at 10:00am. Found the problem and decided the repair cost was to much to put into an old furnace so they arranged to have Carolyn, their sales rep, come to the house in a couple of hours. We listened to her presentation and decided on the new furnace that would be best for us. She was able to work our installation in the very next morning. She also let us use 2 electric heaters to help keep our home somewhat warm until they arrived the next morning. The service techs arrived at 7:30am, put down carpet protection covers, had the old one out and the new one installed by 3:00pm that afternoon. The service was excellent. Horizon was amazing and one of the best in Denver. They are a little more expensive than the local joe but their attention to detail and follow-up is awesome and the little extra cost is well worth it. We love our new Trane furnace. Way to go Horizon!!

You don't see terrific service like this anymore. Horizon Services was GREAT from the start. Picked up on the first ring. They were able to schedule my appointment that day. Texted me a reminder. Texted me when they were on their way. No, "we'll be there between 2 pm and 4 pm" nonsense. Zen was right on time. He was pleasant with my wife and explained the issue. He was pleasant with me. Zen was knowledgeable, fixed the problem, and offered alternatives. He said all the right things. I hope to not need them again soon, but you can bet I'll call them the next time I have a problem with my furnace or air conditioning.

Horizon Services is my go-to. They never disappoint. Loyal customer here. I will always recommend their services. No matter the Tech, each and every one is friendly, very knowledgeable, and take pride in their work. Horizon was great in installing my HVAC system.

I have used Horizon before we got our Ac unit installed by them a couple years ago. I absolutely love this company, the techs and the very sweet ladies in the office are amazing. Our heater stopped working overnight and woke up to an icebox of a house with small children. They were able fit me in same day for maintenance. We had been told by a previous company that we had to replace the whole unit. Brad with Horizon was able to replace a piece and do maintenance that fixed the issue. He was very professional, knowledgeable and patient with my 3 month old puppy who kept getting in his way. We plan on replacing the unit eventually but its good to know that our family won't have to suffer the cold winter. We will probably using Horizon again.

The absolute best HVAC company in Denver. We have used Horizon for 15 years and they are always professional and the work they do is unmatched.

Asked for a plumbing repair to water spigot. When the tech arrived, he confirmed the job would take less than an hour and was simple, parts were probably somewhere in the $50-100 range. Estimate was $1300 and they tried to sign me up to their aur conditioning and warranty service for a total of over $2k. When I asked why the high cost of the repair, the tech replied, it's because we are a premium service provider. I asked what that entailed and nothing additional to what another company provided me (warranty, master plumber, etc) for $600. This place was clearly taking advantage of a situation and I did have to pay $98 for the visit. Be careful with this company.

Excellent service from Anthony diagnosing and repairing my boiler quickly and cost effectively.

What an amazing company my air conditioner went out on the Wednesday at 2:30pm and the temperature was 96 degrees I immediately called Horizon Services my neighbor recommended them it was the Thursday before the Fourth of July weekend my air conditioner was 23 years old and needed to be replaced. I was desperate I had big plans for the weekend. They had a technician Dan came out that afternoon it just could not be fixed anymore not worth it. Carolyn the sale rep came out at 5:30pm and she wrote up my new air conditioner contract and technicians Dan, Mike and Zen did a amazing job they were here at 7:30am the next day on Friday and I had my new air conditioner in by that afternoon. They saved my weekend plans they were a godsend. Very professional and friendly service they went out of there way to get this done for me. I can not thank them enough. Just a awesome job.

These folks were great. They got me scheduled very quickly, within a day, whereas other companies were saying it would take 2 weeks to come out. The tech was on time & very professional and easy to talk to. He performed diagnostic tests on my furnace blower and AC unit and identified the issues. I chose to do the repair work myself to save on cost, but the tech took the time to answer all my questions and give me tips on how to do the job. He was very informative and very helpful. This company was easy to work with, straight forward, and helpful.

Prompt service! Excellent customer service by the office staff and technician. They offer many home services and only plan to contact them with my home needs. Fantastic!

Mike and Caesar did their work in a friendly and professional way. Enjoyed meeting both. Always impressed with the people that Horizon Services sends to my home. They fixed for me a fan speed problem along with doing their regular 6 month checkup on my equipment.
