UniColorado had the best bid, the best heat pump system offering for my old home, listened to my requests and suggestions, and did a very clean installation of a full multizone Mitsubishi system with 2 ductless units in one day. They were professional and did excellent work. There was no cost increase for dealing with minor things - they just got it done and were nice to me the whole time. They have a really good electrician subcontractor. Definitely get a bid from Uni.

We recently built an ADU and UniColorado installed our heatpump unit and we couldn't be happier with the process. They also helped us with the tax rebates/credits available and still offered a very competitive price compared to the other companies we vetted out. Would highly recommend.

Called and the owner Kelly took my call personally. He was professional and great to talk to. He sent out Shane to come give me a second opinion on a quote to replace my whole unit that I was given by another company. The other company said it was a cracked heat exchanger. Shane found no major issues and felt that replacement was not needed at this time, but that is was an older unit that could be due for replacement in the next few years. He gave me tips on how to monitor it for issues like a cracked heat exchanger and even cleaned a few things to help it out. They charged me nothing for this service. What a great company to work with. I'm a construction project manager so I deal with a lot of companies. I can tell this is an honest, competent and quality operation and they have my business moving forward.

The Roots team were great! I can genuinely say they were the best, most honest and reliable in Denver metro. I had another company come out and diagnose my furnace and they wanted to charge me 2x market rate for the repair. Every company I called said they couldn’t give me a price quote for the problem until they sent a tech out. Kelly at Roots gave me an affordable price quote, was transparent from the onset, and had his team come diagnose the problem while also coming with the part needed for the repair.

This feels unheard of from the 10 other firms I spoke to. True customer service from Roots!

Had been on the fence about updating our furnace from 1991 and had the idea to add mini splits in two bedrooms to support the aging system. But Sean was able to give us a more complete picture of what our options were in our price range. We now have air conditioning (for the first time!) and a new furnace. Shayne was the technician. He quickly identified the problem with my HVAC unit. He was very polite, and patiently explained what he was doing to make the repair. Excellent result as the unit is now working great, and the price was reasonable.

We had our AC go out late on Sunday evening during 95+ weather. I reached out via text to schedule service and in the meantime Kelly also helped triage the issue remotely and we were able to get our AC back up in running that evening. Roots came out to do the spring maintenance on our unit later the next week and the team was on time, communicative and provided me extra education on the system during that visit. I would highly recommend using Roots and will be using them again for my own home.

These guys were great! I had gone 3 weeks without air. They managed to work me in 2 days earlier than I was scheduled, and worked late into the evening to get the job done. They laid tarp down and plastic where they walked, and wore booties. I've had bad experiences in the past where I was left a filthy mess to clean up. Not with this company. They were professional, polite, and did a great job! Excellent all the way around!

I would absolutely recommend Roots Heating & Air! They came and inspected my elderly mom’s AC unit on short notice and gave her a fair and honest evaluation, even though it didn’t bring them business. This came on the coat tails of another local company’s evaluation who had told her she needed to replace a couple of parts for $2,800. Kelly and Shayne were ethical, professional, sacrificial, and honest. That’s a rare find these days, and it meant so much to us! We are now going to use them for our own house!!
