Phenomenal service! Our water heater went out Wednesday evening. We called Applewood Thursday morning, and Sam came out to help us. He was very knowledgeable, thorough, and had a new water heater installed before 2pm that day. He was able to get the county to approve a permit and get us back up to code as well. On top of that, our water heater is behind some old school closet doors - the kind that are a pain to get back on the track. I had taken one of the doors off the track for a separate reason earlier in the week. After Sam left, I was preparing to deal with the frustration of putting the door back on the track, only to discover Sam had done it for me. It was a fantastic surprise. Above and beyond in the best way! Thank you, Sam!

Damian was amazing!! Came on a Sunday morning to troubleshoot our heater and replaced everything that needed to be replaced, showed us pictures of what went wrong, and was extremely professional and polite. He even put booties on every time he went in and out! I would highly recommend Damian and Applewood to future customers. Thank you Damian!

Alan was able to come out fairly late and short notice to take a look at a cracked drain in our basement. He explained everything and had it fixed very quickly. Even improved the setup to prevent the crack(s) from forming again.Tested the affected faucets after the work. Would recommend.

Applewood was a great first experience. My tech, Ryan Lichty, was great and explained everything in a way I could understand and was much appreciated. Also, the office coms and follow up was first rate. I use to own a high end customer focused biz so it makes a huge difference to me.

Monty came at a time requested which was so kind. He was so kind and patient working in a difficult spot. He worked late and did such a great job! Professional and personable - Thank you so much Monty and Applewood! I will add that we use Applewood for any plumbing concerns in our 1970-ish home. If they are a bit more expensive than other places, you won't regret their work and professional plumbers. Before we had Applewood as our go to - we used someone else and Applewood had to come and fix it!

Faucet installation and water pressure valve replacement.
Pricing was a bit of sticker shock.
Zach is extremely knowledgeable and professional.
We have been in this home 29 years and have always had extremely poor water pressure. The home was a new build at the time.
The valve replacement impact was immediately noticeable.

Tony had the job done quickly and the end product was a very successful and pleasant installation of a water heater. Granted they are a bit more than the other companies, but you get what you pay for and they were a good service and a good product. We were very satisfied and will use again.

Nate was fantastic, he showed up a few minutes early. Diagnosed the problem, gave me some options and fixed the problem in no time. Great value for exceptional service and I have heat again in my home. Thanks so much Nate, you are great at your job. Amazing knowledge and customer service. I would recommend you to everyone. They were all on time. They were very professional and walked me through everything when they werso I knew how to use the new thermostat and electrical panel. Then did the same when done installing new furnace. They were personable and communicated what they still needed to do when they came back. From the scheduling and reminder, phone calls to being here on time and making me feel very comfortable, it was great service. And all of them should know what a great job they did..

Really friendly and helpful folks. Their dispatch team was prompt with their communication and gave me an accurate time of arrival. The tech diagnosed the issue with my water heater fast and gave me multiple options for repair and replacement.

We had and emergency situation and Applewood was able to get a team out within two hours. Nick and Jay were great - professional, personable, fast, and capable. They weren't able to address the issue, but they waived their trip fee and were back the following day to do some temporary repairs until we could address the root cause issue.

Applewoods. Greg Johnson did a no cost evaluation of my plumbing and was very good. He explained everything in detail, and was very thorough. I've used Applewood for heating and air conditioning before and will use them again for all my needs.. I would recommend them to everyone.

Our heater wasn't working today, and Applewood was able to get an HVAC technician out in the same day and fix it. The technican, Nate, was very professional and friendly. He explained the ignition failed (what I suspected) and was able to fix it quickly. The only downside was the cost. The repair was slightly over $600 - which might be the going rate, but was a bit of sticker shock to me. But I haven't needed furnace repairs in about a decade, and with inflation it's expeced.

I have a small but wonderful old English Tudor home in Washington Park that I've lived in for many years. It needed major update with the electrical system and I could not have asked for a better electrician than Tom Maloney. He was very knowledgeable about old homes and explained everything that need to be done to keep the house safe, up to code and respectful of the original architecture. He was helped by BJ and together they were thorough, efficient and very pleasant. I would definitely recommend either of them.

Had a great plumbing repair experience with Nate from Applewood Plumbing. He did a great job troubleshooting and his work was meticulous. The whole process was easy and efficient. And pricing was fair. Applewood has been around a long time and has a good reputation. They are my new go-to plumbing and electrical folks. I highly recommend!

Omar was awesome! I had sewage coming into my upstairs shower and Omar figured out exactly what was going on and fixed it fast. He checked everything thoroughly, explained the problem clearly, and even gave future options without pushing/upselling. Super honest and everything is working great now. Absolutely 5 stars!

Brian and Dave did an excellent job.
They fixed my water heater first in December, 2019 and now in January, 2026.
Reasonable price.

Kevin B. came out to my house quickly. I got a call about 30 minutes before my appointment. Kevin showed up as expected and was very courteous. He wore those little booties over his boots which was a nice touch. He checked my system very thoroughly over the next 2 hours attempting to diagnose my intermittent heat. He was able to narrow it down to being either my thermostat or my thermostat wire. He was also able to show me the parts of my system that are doing well and those that are not and may need service in the future. Next time I need service I intend to call Applewood and request for Kevin again.

EDITED TO ADD: Dom N. came by today to fix the plumbing issues I was having on my 100 year old house- he was
so very kind and explained everything that needed to be done and completely the work the same day. I really appreciate his thorough and friendly approach. Thank you for fixing the washing machine and repairing our pipes, your help today was greatly appreciated! Thank you to Dom and the staff at Applewood for taking care of us.

Jorge Garcia came out to make some repairs on my heater today. They were able to get me same-day service. He was knowledgeable, friendly and completed the work quickly. Best experience I’ve ever had with a plumber. Ryan was professional, knowledgeable, informative, kind and completely went above and beyond. I would recommend him to anyone needed plumbing help. Also, plumbing work is expensive. Period. I found this service to be reasonably priced. I’m super grateful that I called Applewood.

Josh and the crew at Applewood were AMAZING!
I had a true emergency. At first, what I thought was a minor issue turned out to be a MAJOR issue. Applewood (and Josh) were able to get to my home hours earlier than initially thought.

The problem was discovered to be the entire main utility line. I appreciated the careful diagnostics along the way. When it was discovered to be the entire line was at issue, you'd have thought it was a pit crew at the Indy 500.

Fast, professional, thorough teams were dispatched. Professional, high quality repairs were started, minimally disruptive for the degree of issue, and completed faster than I could have hoped. When the entire scope was uncovered: Two days. Access, Repair, and Egress. Two DAYS!!! AND THIS WAS MAJOR WORK!!! Repairs this extensive run most of the week to more than a week! (Two days was an amazingly fast turnaround!)

Thanks Josh and Applewood! You are lifesavers! Main line repairs are pricey, but the price was fair, reasonable, and appropriate for the amount of work required. My main line ran from under my front porch, under the walkway, angled to the driveway, down the driveway, to the street. Literally, 98% under concrete and asphalt. So, it was going to be pricey.

I will keep them on speed dial.
