Plumbing reviews in Denver, Colorado

Manny was a great representative for the company, courteous and friendly and also cleanup minded after job was complete. I was in a bind and the prompt service was much appreciated. My only complaint was the price for the service, I didn’t have time to get any different quotes so I had to live with it.

Bill was out here and did an amazing job. 2 new hose bibs, re piped the garage and found/fixed 4 additional leaks and installed multiple isolation valves and a pressure reduction valve. Quick and really good work and does not overcharge.

Our furnace had gone out during the first real cold spell this season. I contacted Mighty Plumbing and Heating for a quote. Frank came out the same day and provided professional detailed information for us. We were able to get funding and proceeded with a new furnace and AC unit. They brought out space heaters to help us until the came the next day to install the new system. We were so pleased with the service provided that we added on a plumbing and bathtub project. It was also completed professionally and timely.
I will always call Mighty first for any heating, plumbing and electrical services needed in the future.
Thank you -
My electrician John Matcham was amazing. I had an issue with Ceiling fan and light. I could hear it crackle when I switched it on. John disassembled the fan and light to check the wiring, checked the switches and checked in my attic space to assure the wiring was up to the job, and when he had me try the other switch it crackled. Turns out the switch was shorting only sometimes but, it only takes once to start a fire. It was so worth the service call to get it fixed and he checked the service panel and installed a surge protector for the entire house. I am so impressed that I am having work done on my rental house service panel also..Thank you John for being so caring and efficient.

This company was great, especially Nick the Electrician that came to our house. We were having issues with our smoke detectors. I called Mighty & was pleased that someone answered the phone vs getting a voicemail. I was able to get an appointment the next day. Communication was wonderful - via email, text & phone call reminders of appointment. We even got a text letting us know our technician was on his way, including the name, bio, photo & tracking info.
Nick arrived early, he was friendly & professional, as well as very competent & thorough in resolving our immediate problem. Nick also gave us a reasonable estimate for future work if needed. Check out their website too, they have some special offers, coupons & financing. We’ll be using Mighty again & it’s nice to know they also do plumbing, heating & air. -
I had a new electric water heater installed and seemed to go okay. Michael seemed very eager and capable. The electrician Greg(?) was good.
But I took 2 stars off for my experience after the installation. I got texts from 4 + different numbers/people. Very confusing to deal with so many people from the same company and having to repeat myself. And being asked for a review for each person as well as the company as a whole.
I called the office because I had a couple questions/concerns I wanted addressed specifically a humming noise that started with the installation. They did send a technician back out and these concerns were dismissed as not related to the water heater but coming from the furnace. I had a HVAC tech from another company come out and check the source of the noise. He found that the condensation pump was making the noise and its red alarm light was on. The new water heater has a hose that is connected to it. So it will need to be replaced to avoid a flood disaster! He found also some a hose clamp had not been tightened.
Thirdly my interaction with Loreen (sp?) the financial controller is mainly why I dock a star on the review. A couple days after the installation she calls (installation was on Friday before MLK Day).. She wanted to know why I hadn’t paid the balance which is due on completion. I explained why I was reluctant to pay the remaining balance until issues were resolved. She asked do I have hot water and was the heater installed completely to which I had to say yes. She said then the balance is due on completion. I felt like she was a prosecuting attorney and I was the defendant and it was like a gotcha moment for her. As a customer I don’t like being talked to like that. This last interaction really upset me.
I initially called them for the $49 hot water heater flush and end up buying a whole new unit which is my fault for not pausing to think about it before approving the purchase. I would not continue dealing with them other than for the warranty on the wat r heater. My preference is I like dealing with a smaller operation with a more personal approach. -
Mighty Plumbing got out same day as my furnace was shooting fire out of it. Jonny their tech showed up at my house quickly and explained we would need a new furnace. He took the time to answer all my questions They had easy financing terms for the new furnace. We love our new furnace

Bill, Kenny, and Michael were outstanding in their work today! They were professional and kept us up to date on everything they were working on. An extra shout out to Bill who spent extra time answering all of our questions and thoroughly explained the different systems we could chose and how they would benefit our situation. His patience and sense of humor set at ease. We will definitely be calling them for all our plumbing needs.

What a great professional, Team of Electricians and Plumbers that installed my Generac Generator, Don't know how I lived without. Thanks Matt, John and Terry! Don't have to worry anymore about pipes freezing when out of town. Thank you Mighty Team

Had to call them out for a leak that was apparently out hot water heater. It needed replacing immediately. We went with a tankless system.
It took an age to get the equipment and tank to do the switch. He then took an age to do the replacement and got assistance. This was until 10pm. They wore booties, but did not put plastic down on my white carpet. They used a dolly to remove the tank, which then leaked gross water on my carpet. They used my Bissell spot shot to clean it. Then, pulled the dolly up the stairs which left black marks.
Afterwards, I noticed the fittings were leaking. They returned on Tuesday to fit an additional part for the tankless system, plus address the leak. Instead of asking for a rag for any leaks, he just grabbed the bathroom hand towel, didn't tell me and left the wet towel on the counter.
I checked the fittings again, still leaking! Another guy came back later the same day, he finally got it all situated, he asked for old towels and I was grateful he finally got everything right.
This was a process I hope to not go through again. I wouldn't recommend this company. Sloppy work, and repeatedly called out to be fixed. Calling this company in an emergency was the mistake on my part. -
Justin did an awesome job installing new overhead lights and a Level 2 EV charger for us. I felt like the value was on par with the craftsmanship. I’d recommend Mighty to friends and family.

Matt was at our house on Saturday. His work and verbal skills were excellent. He was fast and explained everything we should know. Don't let this guy ever leave you team, as he is exceptional. We will use you again and again provided Matt is available to us.
Outstanding service -
TL;DR - Poorly operated, disorganized and incredibly frustrating experience with sales and back office where my card was overcharged, work was completed incorrectly and I couldn’t get ahold of someone to get a refund for over a week. Sales will lie to you. Technicians are very nice.
- We reached out to Mighty to have a range hood installed at our new house which required new duct work and electrical because one has never existed in this house.
- The sales rep, Elliot, who came to our house made these lofty promises of what could get done and what they could help us with. It all sounded great and he even did a thorough job of inspecting other work done around our house and made some suggestions saying it would only cost a few grand to move our AC/heater intake (which turned out to be false) and suggested some other fixes (like plastic needing to be cut around our hot water flue that was melting into it).
- We got the quotes - turns out they can’t move the air intake and instead recommended a $25k fix to move the furnace instead. The hood work seemed scoped correctly so we opted into just that and Elliot still promised us that the HVAC technician can also help install new elbows for the washer and a new vent for the dryer exhaust. Sounds great!
- Day of - we were not told that 2 separate people would arrive for the plumbing and HVAC work. The HVAC guy mentions it’s a really big install and he thought he’d have an extra person to help but the office probably didn’t assign the job right.
- Half way into the install, they call a 3rd guy for electrical and we get told it’s another $500 because they have to install a new circuit. Why didn’t they know this when they did the quote and why did the quote say “install to existing circuit”? I can’t figure that out.
- While work is happening and there’s all this confusion, extra people showing up in trying to get ahold of Elliot to sort out details, scope of work and he doesn’t pick up. Not once. Finally get a text from him and a call mid-afternoon clarifying the number of people coming to the house, the extra electrical cost, etc. says he can’t change the extra cost because they did the plumbing work “at a loss.”
- The work couldn’t be completed on the hood because of a defective part so our technician says he’ll come back another day after the replacement part arrives - so nice of him! Does the washer/dryer work and cleans up after himself and leaves.
- After he left, the washer line starts leaking! Full out, there’s water everywhere and I spend the next hour trying to fix it. Can’t get ahold of Elliot to send someone out. Turns out, the threads were damaged on the washer side during the install and that’s causing this leak!
- Next day, I reached out to Mighty’s office to tell them about the issue and get a refund. Left a message with a rep who promised I’ll hear back, sent photo evidence.
- Weekend passes, it’s Tuesday. Call again, I didn’t hear from anyone. Also, this is when I realized the receipts for the work hadn’t been sent to me so I get the receipts and my card was overcharged by about $300. Another promise of a message to the manager, Vincent. Also, scheduled the tech to come back and finish the hood on Friday morning.
- Thursday, leave another message and get told Vincent will get back to me. Nothing.
- Friday morning - no reminders about my appointment so I call to confirm the tech is coming. Full scramble - no one scheduled them to come to our house and they have to call tech off another job to come to ours.
- Job gets finished a couple hours later and the tech said he needed to take photos of the flue work to send to his manager so we give him access. We never get copies of the photos.
- Finally, 9 days after the original job was scheduled, I hear back from someone in finance. They apologize and process the refund for some of incomplete work and the overcharge but refuse to refund for the “custom” flue work. They said they can’t tell me how much the work cost and they need to send someone back out to “assess.”
I’d avoid this company at all costs! -
Today we had Mighty Plumbing Heating Air and Electric perform a whole house inspection. Johnny Camp inspected and cleaned our furnace, while fixing a couple other small items free of charge. He also gave us a very reasonable quote for duct cleaning, which we now have scheduled. Chris Jaca and Max Wilson thoroughly inspected our plumbing and water heater. While they only found some minor issues, they had some great recommendations for improving our water quality and extending the life of our fixtures. John Matcham followed up with a whole house electrical inspection. He found a few things that may have been up to code 10 years ago when our home was built, but not today. A few upgrades were recommended, not only to protect us from fires, but also to extend the life of our appliances. All four of these gentlemen really new their traded and were friendly and personable to work with. ~Thanks guys!

Professional, friendly, clean, in the correct century with technology and fast. Called because my drain was backing up, had to get the kitchen line jetted out. Cost more than I was hoping but they got the job done in about an hour. Was able to see where they were with tracking. And had pictures of who was coming to my home. They wore footies to stay tidy. Didnt try to Bs me and was chatty enough I felt like they cared about what they were doing and friendly and kept a good light conversation. Happy with the dispatch service as well. Felt like an overall well oiled machine of a business. And with plumbing etc sometimes it feels like they get to you when they get to you. These guys made me feel like it was worth every penny.
Sending a guy out to video and show us the drain in a couple days as well to make sure it’s all clean and not corroded -
Furnace installation. My experience with Mighty Heating was very good. Johnny did a thorough job of diagnosing the problem and explaining the work that needed to be done. He was friendly and easy to talk to. Angel and Cody were efficient, polite and profession during the install and got everything up and running as quickly as possible. Elliott (project manager) did a great job of explaining all of the options for the repair. Everyone listened well to my questions and concerns.

We could not have had a better experience with Mighty! Ryan, Eugene, and Eddie were amazing. We had our entire plumbing redone from the house to the city sewer line. These guys made an incredibly stressful situation seamless. Definitely won't be going to anyone else for any future plumbing needs. Thanks again guys!

Johnny and Elliot were awesome with explaining the replacement of our furnace. Our furnace is 50+ years old so it is time. I like the fact they are locally owned and operated. Installation is scheduled for Monday, so I can do another review post install. Pre-Install photo attached.
Post-Install
Christoper was awesome. I will recommend him any time. He completed a huge amount of work in a short time frame. He replaced my boiler and water heater at the same time. You can tell he really takes pride in his work and does a great job. He kept me updated throughout the day so there were no surprises, just a great finished product. -
I cannot say enough, good things about my experience with mighty plumbing. I got a new mini split in my workshop, which was installed very professionally and cleanly. When the electrician came to connect it I had him look at my breaker box in the workshop because I had a feeling some things were not up to Code. He opened it and we immediately saw there was arcing in it. Ishmael Gonzalez was the electrician. He told me that I should get a new subpanel and that whoever had done it before the wiring was under gauged. He then went in my crawlspace and saw that my house was also not grounded and up to Code since it is an older house. My main breaker box was only rated for 125 Amps and we could upgraded it to 200 Amps. He told me he could get everything done the next day. He arrived at 9:45 AM and didn’t leave till after 10 PM. The guy just crushed it. He was awesome to work with. I kept asking him if he could get it all done in one day and he kept reassuring me I am not leaving till it’s all done. Sure enough he got everything done. I will be requesting him for any future electrical jobs. I do believe they are a bit expensive but when I received the quality of work he provided, I am more than willing to pay more for it.

Very happy with the service and professionalism. I reached out through Thumbtack and was called back just a few minutes later. Nick was able to come the same day, look over the project area and the fuse panel, and gave several options for how to complete my lighting project. Price was fair and scheduling was very flexible. Justin came to do the installation a couple of days later and he was also quick, clean, and professional. I plan to use this company again for future projects. Before photo with ugly fluorescent lighting and after with new pretty LED light.

I clogged my garbage disposal in Denver by putting flower stems down it. When it backed up, I checked out plumbers with good reviews and found someone right away. James got back to me in just a couple of minutes with his phone number, gave me a clear price range, and let me know he could come by that same afternoon. I called him and he showed up within the hour, just like he promised. Not only did he unclog my garbage disposal, but he also explained each step he was taking. He noticed my pipes were not connected well and there was some leaking, but had all the right parts in his truck and fixed everything perfectly. As a bonus, he cleaned my drains with a strong cleaner at no extra cost. I am really happy with how professional James was, and I’ve already recommended him to two friends. He’s definitely my plumber from now on!
