Wes showed up right on time. He put a rubber mat down to protect our stairs for moving his his machine in and out of our basement. He was friendly, professional, and thorough.
We'll use Garvin's anytime for any drain cleaning needs.

I had Garvin’s go to my mom’s house today to clean out three sink drains. Dennis B went over and did a great job cleaning them out. He was professional and friendly. I really like Garvin’s as a company and the people who work there.

I am a board member at a 148 unit HOA with tons of aging plumbing on the property. When I joined the board we had corporate plumbers who were gouging and taking advantage of our community. We interviewed over 8 different plumbing companies before we decided to work with Garvin’s. The first time they fixed a leak it was not only clear they were more experienced and better equipped but also less expensive.

Thankfully we built a relationship with Garvin’s because a year later we had a water main break and we had to have their excavation crew come out and fix the break. They were super responsive and were on site within 10 minutes or less with a quote soon after. As an HOA we had to get multiple quotes all the other quotes were 3-5x the price of Garvin’s quote and they were not responsive.

There is a reason Garvin’s is the oldest family owned plumbing business in Denver they take care of their customers and their community. They definitely rescued our community and didn’t take advantage of us in the process. Big thanks to the whole team at Garvin’s!

I called Garvin’s Plumbing & Sewer about sewer smells and possible problems with my basement ejection sump pump. Jon arrived and was so thorough, complete diagnostic of pump, and determined the pump wasn’t running correctly. He added a part, discovered the electrical box had been tripped and all was good. He then snaked the sewer line which had never been done since it was replaced. The charges were very reasonable and I didn’t have to replace my ejection pump. Will definitely use them in the future and highly recommend this company.

Grayson was exceptional at handling my leaking bathtub and also cleaning out my drain. He was meticulous, thoughtful and took his time during the repairs. He had to cut a hole in my drywall behind my wooden shelf so he took apart some of the wood on the shelf. At the end of the job he not only was gracious enough to re-put back together my wooden shelf but he did it with patience and creativity, making the shelf look exactly as it once did before he took it apart. Grayson also showed me where my clog was in my drain using a spy camera and then proceeded to remove the clog with one of a myriad of tools he had at his disposal. I also had a clogged sink which he was able to fix with ease. When he ran to get parts at the store he asked me what I wanted to eat for lunch and he brought back a very nice meal for me along with the parts. Lastly, he made a potentially very expensive bill turn into a manageable expense, using coupons and refunding me a previous charge made by the office. I couldn't recommend Grayson from Garvin's enough with the job he did on my unit's plumbing.

Grayson was nothing short of totally amazing!! He explained everything to me in a manner I could understand and was a gentleman in every way!!

When you need a plumber, you can't wait for an opening. I asked for help and help was on its way. I got a very conscientious and honest guy who gave me great service and very reliable advice. He didn't flim flam around and the price was more than fair. It was certainly worth what I paid and more. I have used Garvin's for many years in the past and I will continue to in the future. I am lucky my neighbors referred me to them many years ago.

Visit #2 on 1/21/26 Once again I have to brag about this company! Fast and able to help a leak that developed under the toilet. It was annoying and could not wait! And, lucky for me I didn't have to!

James D did a great job. Called first. Was on time. Cleaned out a lot of roots to made sure our drains were running well. It had been 4 years since Garvin had cleaned out our drains. Also, making an appointment was painless.

I've been looking for a plumber I can trust and collaborate with to understand what I can fix myself and what needs a professional touch. Greyson is that guy, and I will be calling him for all of my plumbing going forward. He was professional and provided great service, answered all of my questions patiently, and fixed the diverter valve issue explaining each step in the process. 10/10

First, they showed up during the allotted time which was huge. The tech Sham S was great. He did a great job listening to what was going on and then explained everything that needed to happen. Even gave me things to think about in the future instead of forcing an extra service down our throat. He cleaned up after himself and was a great tech. I highly suggest giving them a call or have them on speed dial if something happens.

Hello, I called on Friday for an appointment, but by Saturday evening I still didn't hear back, so after cleaning up our mess, my husband put some Draino down the sink. I called again, explained our issue, and got a 10 to 2, a 4-hour window for your plumber.

I still haven't heard back about booking and getting our flange fixed for a decent price, and about adjusting the price of the diagnostic visit.

As I said, Sham was polite, but he came a half hour after the 4 hour window scheduled, and didn't want to do the work, because he didn't have time. He stayed an hour and a half, while we moved things out of the way for him to access pipes, and explained the flushing issues both upstairs and down. We explained that we had used Draino both upstairs and down, the day before, and that seemed to help. He asked if he could put a line down the sewer to check the pipe and said he wouldn't charge for that unless we got pictures and found a problem. We said that was fair and agreed.
We told him we had adjusted the chain and flap many times upstairs, and believed it was a clogged pipe. He adjusted the chain himself...
again, and we thought it flushed fine until he left. He also gave us advice about enzymes, but didn't bring any. We said our main issue was the toilet downstairs because when we flushed, it came up through yhe shower, which we cleaned up ourselves. Also, when we poured water down the sink in the basement, it came out of the base of the toilet. He removed the toilet, shimmed it and put it back. He said he didn't care if we hired him or not to fix the flange because his quote would be expensive.

The Draino and enzymes seem to be working for both bathrooms now, we just need the flange fixed.

But since he did not respond to my text about the price of $780 being perhaps a typo for coming back to fix the flange, I called Garvins to adjust the repair bill or the diagnostic bill which wound up being well over $300. Total, it would be over $1100! He didn't need to take off the toilet then if he didn't want to fix it then.

Shamas was late and did nothing more than diagnose a problem he did not want to fix and did not have time to fix.

We want to you to credit the cost of that visit, and change the quote to replace the flange to no more than $400 total. That is the maximum Google says it should cost for even a difficult replacement.

When Steve returned our call, he said he would credit our initial payment, but we haven't heard back.

This is the last time I will ask nicely.

I had sent a response last week, but it doesn’t seem it was received.

Sham did a lot of diagnosis, including running a camera in order to determine the problem, as well as pull and reset the toilet. Stating he did nothing is inaccurate.

We set appointment windows, not specific times, so stating he was late is unfair.

Telling me this is “the last time you will ask nicely” is rude. I don’t work with people who demean us.

Typically we charge customers extra for putting our technicians in danger by using liquid drain cleaners, which we didn’t. Our price was more than fair. We are not crediting you nor will we return to do the flange repair.

We’ve been in business for over 85 years and have done so because we do the right thing by customers at a fair price. Sham was not able to stay and do the flange repair because on Sundays we have limited access to supply houses and must handle emergency calls for customers with active leaks or back ups. It wasn’t that he was blowing you off by not fixing the flange, it was that it was not able to be done on a Sunday due to company policies.

Sorry we were not a good fit.

James D. came to my house within 30 minutes of calling when my shower started flooding. He made sure to thoroughly check all possible sources of the flooding and educated us on how to prevent it from happening again. The price was very reasonable and he was kind and helpful. Will definitely call them again next time I need help with the plumbing!

Needed to call Garvin's for a follow up snaking job on our kitchen line. Can't say enough about how much I appreciated the thorough work by Seth to make sure the line was clear and his troubleshooting of a way to prevent flooding under sink in the future. Top quality and service!!

Called Garvin's this morning for a sewer line that backed up in my basement, they said they'd get someone out here before noon. Nate called on his way, arrived at about 10:15 and was super professional, friendly and diligent. He took care of the sewer line and got us back in business in no time. So grateful for the service I received from Garvin’s. I had a clog in my kitchen sink and another company told me I needed to replace my pipes for thousands of dollars. I called Garvin’s for a second opinion, they came out quickly and were able to clear the clog, saving me thousands of dollars and days of work. Truly kind, honest, affordable, and competent service.

We always depend on Garvins for our drain cleaning. We have used them many times. They are very responsive to our (usually) emergency calls even on weekends. Jon did a great job! He was efficient, kept the workspace clean and had very good customer rapport. He also used several different cleaning methods to make sure the main drain was clear of blockage.

Well, the drains are clear. That is the good thing. The technician left a mess behind; he did not protect the area around his work area, leaving black sludge on the floor of both the bathroom and the kitchen 🤢. Shower curtain and liner might not be salvageable. He knew he made a mess, too because when I pulled th shower curtain, it was still damp with the cleaner he had already sprayed in it (only in the black area).
