Tree reviews in Evergreen, Colorado

Kyle, Taylor, and team are incredible - I very rarely write reviews, but for them I gladly take the time because I feel the entire team exceeded my expectations, every step of the process.
We needed to have fire mitigation and overall tree/forest health work done on 2acres of very dense trees - after a recommendation from a friend, I asked Kyle to come over.
At first I was a bit hesitant, because I didn't want to end up with an open "meadow" and lose privacy in any way, but Kyle asked all the right questions and made sure that he understood what I tried to express. The end-results is amazing, far better than I could have imagined; I even have gotten compliments from my neighbors on how well the forestry look-and-feel was kept and how healthy it all looks.
During the period the crew was here, everyone was very friendly, they always had time to explain things to me and reconfirm the plan. Besides the contracted work, they went above and beyond to make the area better accessible to me, taught me better chainsaw skills and even helped with making a sledding path for my kids.
Without a doubt, Kyle and his crew will be my first to go to for any forestry/tree work; when you want to have a look yourself, just let Kyle know, he is welcome any time

Forestwerx is the company you want for expert fire mitigation.! They are beyond qualified and experienced as forest and fire experts. They are also insured which many people just trying to enter the tree business world are not. Kyle and crew do superb work and will leave your property more fire defendable and looking beautiful! I couldn’t recommend anyone higher.

The team at Forestwerx recently helped us with fire mitigation on our property, removing several large trees and many smaller ones just in time for our insurance renewal. Kyle’s professionalism and expertise as a firefighter gave us confidence in our decision — and it’s clear we made the right one. Thank you, Forestwerx!

Kyle and his team at ForestWerx did the job right the first time. They cut down the trees, pulverized the slash, and trimmed the stumps down to ground level. They even assisted in hauling away the fallen trees. These guys are excellent at what they do, professional, efficient, and thorough. Highly recommend!

Forestwerx completed a large pine beetle mitigation project from prescription to completion on schedule. They had the right equipment for a difficult project and worked with neighbors to make access possible. Their expertise and professional approach made this a very successful project. Will be working with them again this spring.

We couldn’t be happier with the work that Kyle and his crew did on our 10-acre property in Evergreen, which involved removing nearly 1,000 trees and building a bespoke perimeter trail for hiking, biking and utility vehicles.

From the start, Kyle was incredibly hands-on — great communication, thoughtful recommendations and genuine care for the land. His entire crew was professional, passionate and hard working. (Special shout-out to Taylor, who went above and beyond in making sure the trail was perfect.)

The transformation is amazing: Our land is now fire-safe, healthier for the local flora and fauna, and absolutely beautiful. Sunlight now filters through the trees, native grasses have room to spread, and we can finally enjoy clear views of the entire property.

Would highly recommend Forestwerx to anyone looking for top-quality fire mitigation and forest management.

Justin , Kyle and team at Forestwerx exceeded my expectations by thinning the trees on our land. Final result is clean, beautifully sculpted and looks natural. Communication was great and their equipment is top notch. Can't recommend them enough.

Forestwerx is an amazing fire mitigation business local to Evergreen. My homeowner's insurance was giving me trouble due to fire risk, and Forestwerx came out, evaluated my property, and came up with a wholistic mitigation plan that didn't require them to fell any trees, just trim branches! Their owner Kyle Benson is a local fire chief and very experience firefighter, and he was able to give my property an expert evaluation from a wildland-urban interface perspective, not just start clear cutting the property. I highly recommend using this business!

Kyle and the Forestwerx team are great to work with, did the job well, were respectful of the property and are on-point with their communication. Will absolutely hire again.

Kyle and team at Forestwerx are our go-to source for tree work here in Evergreen including thinning trees too close together, removing branches too low to the ground, removing junipers, sick trees and dead branches. They excel at implementing suggestions from EFR Defensible Space Evaluations with care. They have the knowledge, expertise and experience for implanting wildfire mitigation and, significantly, they provide work at very reasonable prices. We strongly suggest considering leverage Forestwerx for your tree needs.

We had a summer wedding coming up in Bailey CO at a gorgeous site next to the North Fork of the South Platte. Only problem: lots and lots of willows and brush blocking river views; crowding the site and serving as a mosquito breeding ground. Then I watched Episode 3 of season 3 of Clarkson's Farm, and Jeremy Clarkson featured a major tree and shrub mulching machine -- which just tore down and ate acres of brush. So I looked for a company here in Colorado that had such machinery and could clear our property -- weeks before the ceremony.
We found Forestwerx! What an incredible company! They were kind enough to rush over with the equipment and crew and before we knew it, our willow infested site was clear, beautiful and picture ready! It was the most amazing job-- which frankly we could not do with our chainsaws and lots of motivation.
And the cost was incredibly reasonable!
I cannot recommend them enough - great crew, highly trained and fabulous results!

Kyle and team were great to work with and listened to all our concerns. They did the required mitigation to meet the foresters plan while keeping everything looking natural. So happy with the outcome. I would highly recommend them for any mitigation project you have.

I love to support local businesses that make a point of connecting with their customers! The tree business in Colorado is a confusing one, lots of different opinions on how the handle various forestry issues. Forestwerx has a unique approach based on their professional experiences as firefighters and have some high tech equipment to provide their services in a timely manner! I highly recommend getting a quote from Forestwerx and get to see for yourself how they can help. Sometimes getting something done cheap isn’t the best long term solution and Forestwerx cares about quality and repeat business so I feel they are very fair in their pricing and service. We are using them next season again!!

The Forestwerx guys were very nice and easy to work with. They were happy to accommodate us with our needs and concerns about our project. Will recommend to friends and family.
