We had a tankless water heater installed. The workmen were very polite, respectful of us and our home, and were very knowledgeable. After they had completed their work, they explained what they did and what we needed to do, and they cleaned the work area very well. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

This review is long overdue! A couple of years ago we had a whole house humidifier installed by Phil Long. A few months after the installation a part from the manufacturer needed to be replaced and Phil took care of the situation immediately.

This summer we came to the realization that we had to replace our 30-year-old air conditioner and also decided to replace the furnace which was aging. We didn’t even consider contacting another company and called Phil Long Air and Heating. Dylan did an excellent job of informing us of our financial options, explaining everything so we could understand and kindly answered any questions we had. We are new to this area, and Dylan was so personable in answering our questions about local stores, including a good pizza place (which it was!). This is what is so great about this company - they want to please you as a customer in all ways.

When it was installation day the crew called ahead of time letting us know that they were on their way - on time. We appreciated them wearing booties even though they were working in the basement. We had some questions a few days after the installation and everyone was patient and kind in letting us know that we needed to make some adjustments with the setting on the thermostat.

We also want to give a shout-out to Jessica in the office. She probably cringed when she saw our number come up on caller ID with another question, but she was always nice and patient and would get someone to come by as soon as they were available. We so appreciated their promptness as this was all happening during their busy season.

We love the fact that this is a family-owned business, and they live up to their reputation as stated on their website: honest, efficient and professional. Don’t hesitate - just call them!

We recently had Long Heat & Air replace our forced air gas furnace with a new high efficiency unit. We also added a humidifier which be a great help this winter. They installed one day and did a follow up a week later to make sure it was running well. We also had Long install a mini split in my garage shop three years ago, and that unit continues to perform well. Highly recommend Long!

Quality work, very reasonable prices, and the best customer service you could ask for. Phil, Issac and Dillon are very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with and Jessica and the other ladies in the office make scheduling and reminders as easy as a phone call or text.

I have had my furnace since late October and had an issue at 3am where I lost heat. I did everything I could to fix this myself prior to calling longs emergency line. Immediately phill came out by 6am and fixed the issue right away and stayed to be sure it was fixed. Would recommend 100%!

Long Heating & Air replaced our entire heating & AC system that failed suddenly. Their work was top-notch, they were respectful and cleaned their work area every day they were here. The work was efficient and extremely well done. They also took time to measure and determined our old units were too large to be efficient, so the best replacement units were actually a little smaller (e.g. less expensive) but sized properly for the space so things just work MUCH better now. Can’t recommend them and their work highly enough!

Buyer Beware. Get a second quote.
Fortunately we did. That is when I discovered this company had tripled the cost of the part we needed to fix our furnace.
When Phil the owner first came out, he was here for over an hour and ended his inspection with thinking our problem was the pressure switch. He called his company for 'back up' and Dylan came out to also inspect, stating "Pressure switches never go bad." He used a camera to correctly diagnose the issue - rusted air flow component in the heater exchange lessening adequate air supply.
At this time we were in the cold for 1.5 days, it took another day to get an estimate for a new heater exchange, (with labor), at $3,882.00!
I called a family friend to run everything by him since he would know if this seemed correct; he laughed and said we were being taken for a ride. He then called a wholesaler and asked for the exact part and was quoted $1,130.00. (this is no labor)
I called the company to ask why they would triple the part; I was informed, by the wife, their overhead is more expensive than smaller companies and they pad costs to cover it.
(Literally. This is verbatim.)
I am giving 2 stars because they did correctly diagnose the issue.
At the end of the first visit they ended up not charging us for the pressure switch we did not need but only charged $22.00 for the inspection. I feel this is a tactic to win trust with their customers in order to reel unsuspecting people into an estimate that would more than pay for the first visit. I am very grateful we were not taken advantage of; I hope you wont be either.

Very respectful. Offered solutions for now and moving forward. Was not pushing any product, which I appreciate. Fixed the problem quickly and was helpful. I will also add that I have used their services for my AC and hot water heater. They have the best receptionist and their timelines has been great. I know exactly when someone is gonna be here.

Long Heating and Air recently installed a heat pump in our garage. Dylan and Jessica were wonderful to work with and we are very happy with their work, bid process and willingness to answer questions quickly along the way. They came highly recommended by a realtor friend who raved about their company.

Very pleasant and focused. I was unable to go into the basement so my husband checked in with them and he had no problems. The installation team arrived around 9am and left about 3pm. They placed cloths down to walk on as they needed to make multiple trips bringing in tools and the new furnace. And again "moving everything out" . Our old furnace died after 35 years of hard work. Didn't need the AC replaced at this time. They cleaned the cooling coils so I'm eager to see if the AC works better come summer. We got the furnace done under the all electric deadline. Very pleased with the service. And the constant notifications of who was coming, when they would arrive, and phone calls in case I didn't see their texts. Never left in the dark.

This company is really amazing. We needed to check how to keep our outside air conditioning equipment safe and working during the winter. Our professional tune up guy, Chris, came and cleaned out the equipment then told us what to do to keep it running smoothly. He came back again to check our furnace and inside Heating equipment, replaced a motor and left us with great clean quiet smooth running air. The company responded quickly and was very professional.

Long Heating & Air is an exceptional HVAC company. They hire highly knowledgeable technician, train them well and techs & staff take exceptional pride in the services they provide. We had a new Furnance & AC installed over two days. The techs stayed busy & were efficient in getting started and completioning the work. Additionally we got many local rebates and an additional generous discount from Long’s. We were especially impressed today when our sales person stopped over to check on our jobs as the service techs were wrapping up their work. Highly recommend this company of high integrity, competency, honesty and competitive pricing.

Longs Heating and Air provided excellent service from start to finish. I had them out to my house to address my basement HVAC, the previous owners finished the basement but never had HVAC installed, so I wasn’t sure where to begin. I’m so glad I contacted Phil, Dylan, and the crew. They walked me through the entire process, were honest and upfront, and never tried to upsell or pressure me. Everyone was professional, respectful, and very military-friendly, which I truly appreciated. It’s refreshing to work with a company you can trust. I highly recommend Longs Heating and Air and would absolutely use them again.

Highly recommend this company! From scheduling all the way to final payment they made the whole process incredibly easy. I called for a simple furnace tune up and got so much more. We had the pleasure of working with Isaac and he identified safety issues with his thorough inspection processes that had been otherwise undetected. He explained the issues in ways that were easy to grasp and put together a very detailed report that made it easy to share with my husband, too. Isaac even called when he was heading our way to give an accurate ETA for the appointment. Trustworthy, professional and knowledgeable-couldn’t recommend more highly.

What a refreshing experience working with Long Hearing, air and plumbing! My furnace wasn't working today and they made it out today on time!
Our technician, Dylan was pleasent and professional! After examining the furnace he made the discovery that a switch had been turned off shutting off the furnace. $22 is all it cost and we set up a $33 service to clean the system.
These guys are amazing.

Excellent job! I couldn't be happier with their work. They installed a tankless water heater as well as a new furnace/ ac unit. Relocating all of the flu pipes and sealing all of the existing ductwork to make my new system super efficient.

Such a pleasing company to work with. Every single person from start to finish was so helpful and professional. We were kept informed at each and every step from start to finish.
Any time I had any questions or concern the guys would patiently take time to answer no matter how dump a question I asked.
The install was went extremely well and was as smooth as could be. Communication was great. We knew exactly when they would start, what work would be done and when they expected to finish.
After completing the job they left the area cleaner than when they started.
It’s hard to find a company these days with this level of costumer service.
