Got my 20 some year old furnace fixed on Sunday morning with parts in stock! Top notch. Thanks

Had a maintenance check and cleaning conducted on my rental property furnace. Technician was professional and courteous and the furnace worked great.

Just wanted to share the great experience with these folks. Very quick and accurate with repairs. Did what was needed with no pressure. I very much appreciate the honest repair and expert service. Thank you R & H Heating and Air!

I highly recommend these folks. We have been using their services for our home and rentals for many years. Very thorough technicians. They provide service you can count on for an extremely fair price.

I’d like to give Jason five stars he came at perfect timing was very professional and had the job done quickly and safely

Not so much about just getting the job done, but very important on how you deal with customers and their request. Unfortunately, it was getting cold and the heat went out at our place and we had Randy come out and try and help us. He was SO incredibly rude and condescending with anything that you asked him about. I had no choice to use him due to the cold weather fast approaching. If it wasn’t such a time sensitive issue I would never use this company.
Do not recommend this company, do not recommend Randy. Find some other place to support. -
When our air conditioning went out awhile ago we used R & H because our developer recommended them. Big mistake! It took them over a week to respond and send someone out (this was the first time we had temps close to 100 degrees). The guy finally showed up, never introduced himself, never put on booties, and was the slowest moving person I have ever seen. He worked for four hours and didn't find the problem. Oh and he blew up our toilet!!! Four days later same guy comes back only after my wife asked to speak to owner. He finally found the problem, fixed it and proceeded to blow up our toilet again!!! My wife did not use that bathroom for a month! Seven hundred dollars later on an air conditioner that was less than two years old sure did not make us happy. To say the least, we do NOT recommend this company!!!

When I moved to Fort Collins 6 years ago, several people recommended R & H Heating and Air to me. I rigorously maintain my HVAC system twice a year and so was very careful in my initial choice, basing it not only on recommendations but on a lot of research on-line. After 6+ years of working with them, I consider R & H unquestionably the best Heating & Air company I've ever used anywhere (and I used to live in Texas, then Oklahoma!) Everyone who has come out to work on the system has been punctual, very pleasant to work with, responsive to the (many) questions I always have, and, best of all, very knowledgeable and competent. (Because of staff shortages, they do not now offer emergency after-hours service calls, which is unfortunate because system breakdowns always seem to occur late Friday or early Saturday morning. I hope they will be able to restore this service soon.) They are a small company, and many advantages come with that. Their pricing compares favorably with (and is often better than) that of much larger companies. They have a large clientele (because they're so good), so I scheduled check ups at least a month in advance. Very strongly recommended!!

Thanks to Tanner for great customer service. On time, friendly, honest. Had another company come out to diagnose and they just gave us a list of $2300 worth of issues to "fix". Turns out, we had debris in the line from the motor, super simple fix that the previous tech should have found (maybe did). R&H was our original installer, and I should have reached out to them first. Thanks for the quick and honest help, and great value.

Had strange noise from furnace. Tech guy said ''combustion air inducer'' Good news ,in stock at local distributer. bad news $800 installed. Had old unit saved. Checked price online cost was Approx. $175. The tech was out of house in less than 2 hours. Had another HVAC company quote replacement ,quoted $580 Stopped by R%H and spoke to person who said ''that's the price.'' He said they paid $350 for part. with net 30 day terms they sat on my money for a month before paying the Disty.
I estimate that R and H over billed me by about $200. -
From beginning to end, R&H was polite, professional, prompt, and a pleasure to work with. Each member of their team was easy to work with and talk to, and they helped us when our heater failed on the coldest day of the winter. We will hire them again in the future.

We had a very disappointing experience with R & H Heating. After returning from a trip in the winter, we turned our heat back up to 70 and found that the furnace would turn on and off repeatedly and would not heat the house properly. Our indoor temperature dropped as low as 57 degrees.
R & H was called out by our landlord. The technician told us the furnace was “working,” that furnaces can be finicky, and that it just needed time to heat up. Despite the house being only 63 degrees in the winter, he said it felt warm to him and spoke to us in a way that felt dismissive, as if we didn’t understand the situation. We were told to wait all day for the temperature to maybe reach 67 and then call back the next day
Almost immediately after he left, the furnace shut off again and the temperature continued to drop. Our landlord then brought in another heating company, who identified the issue right away and fixed it quickly.
Unfortunately, R & H missed a clear problem and dismissed our concerns. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this company. -
Beware of poor install and follow-up. I bought a new furnace from R&H late in August. Price was good and install went quickly. By December with the colder nights it was taking a very long time to heat up in the morning. The furnace dd not seem to be kicking into the second stage. Called and tech came out the next day. He replaced a pressure switch/valve that should have been replaced initially for altitudes above 4500' during the install. Two weeks later I noticed water on the floor and top of the furnace. There was a leak in a joint of the exhaust PVC pipe which could have been leaking carbon monoxide as well. The tech had noticed this but simply wrapped it with electrical tape, and it was still leaking! I called again and they sent out John the tech who did the original install. He apologized for the issues and fixed the piping in two places to prevent the leaks. Dave, owner of R&H, stopped by later that morning to pick up something John had forgotten. I explained both issues to him. He dismissed them as "I didn't know about them since the tech didn't inform me, so there is nothing I could do". No apology, no offer make it up to me for these serious issues. The proper thing would have been to offer something like a free furnace check in 1-2 years. Very disappointed in Dave's failure to act like an owner, lack of oversight of his employees and failure to take some responsibility.

I just moved in to my in laws house and these clowns installed the furnace. I thought it was running a lot so I investigated and found that the furnace was never properly sealed in the back so it was leaking what I am guessing was about 30% of the blower pressure out the back. On top of that there is some humidifier unit installed that leaks all over the floor and was just put in with PVC that was never sealed. The floor has now dry rotted underneath due to the constant leaking. There is a mess of tubes and wires everywhere and just absolute shotty work. It looks awful. Whoever here did this install job is obviously not proud of their work and doesn't care.

Excellent customer service! Rueben was very professional and knowledgeable. We called for an A/C service and will definitely use Gary Hooley in the future.

Friday before a holiday weekend my father’s air conditioning went out. They were able to get it up and running in no time. The gentleman that came was so professional. Thank you so much

When it comes time for choosing a company for my HVAC needs I will NOT choose Gary Hooley. If the way their technicians drive is any indication of their attention to detail and common courtesy, I want nothing to do with them.
-
Mike Reynolds is the heating God! He fixed our heater in less than an hour. We appreciate him more than words can express!
-
Jake did a great job. He was very informative and efficient with his work. He’s one of the good guys!
-
Excellent customer service from our technician Chris! Had our furnace cleaned and inspected before winter. If there is a problem he will show you what it is. I will be calling them again for any of our future needs!

Wonderful customer service! The technician was so friendly and helpful. He explained everything to me in terms I could understand and helped me find a solution that fit my budget. I'll never use anyone else. Thank you Gary Hooley.
