Unfortunately, the plumbing/heating/air service industry is filled with companies that take advantage of people. Because of that, I value transparency, clear communication, and upfront pricing.
Based on my experience, it doesn't appear Lion Home Service shares the same values and therefore I cannot recommend them.
Before the appointment, there was no clear communication regarding their pricing structure, other than a $29 trip charge. When the technician arrived, I was shocked to discover that an additional $288 was required to even look at the water heater. Then they would let me know how much it would cost to do the repairs. We never even made it beyond my front door.

Why they wouldn't just tell me on the frontend that it would cost $300 to come out is beyond me. They were happy to take the $29 and be on their way, maybe that's the business model? The experience was frustrating, misleading, and left me feeling like they were just trying to take advantage of me. The people were nice and professional, which is why I gave them 2 stars, but I certainly would not recommend Lion Home Service to others and will not use them for any service moving forward.

Lion Home Service and in particular Taylor Longwell did a great job on servicing my tankless water heater. Very professional, fast service and great explanation of the fixes and why. Would highly recommend!

After several failed attempts at clearing my clogged toilet, Lionel Home Services came to my rescue. They were here within 3 hours of my call and unclogged my toilet within minutes. My technician was friendly and the price was very reasonable. I will recommend them always.

The technician, Garrett, did a great job installing a larger ceiling fan on a 15 ft. ceiling. I would recommend Lion to my friends and family.

I just want to say that I was incredibly impressed with the Lion Home Service Team, especially my technician Lynn G. We currently live in a camper and had one of our valves fail on us while we were trying to empty our waste tank and there would have been no way for us to fix it without pumping the tank out. Lynn had never done anything like that before in a camper, but he stayed until we found a solution and helped as much as he could. I am so thankful for his help! I will definitely call them if we ever need help again!

I liked the guy who came to service my HVAC. That being said I think the price for condensate neutralizer is crazy and this is considering the fact that I have a maintenance contract. $500 is really beyond what I would call good price .

I am so extremely impressed with the service I received today. I requested the special pricing for drain opening and then requested for a camera inspection of my septic drain pipe. The person providing service today is the actual department manager filling in for another tech. I got the royal treatment today and I'm just delighted to have such an expert evaluation at such a reasonable price. My system was serviced by Mark Lancaster and I'm so very grateful that I was granted his expertise.

The experience with Lion home service was excellent. I called this morning because my furnace stopped working and they sent Josh out a couple hours later. He was very nice and efficient. He explained everything in detail and showed me pictures to prove what he saw. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone.

So far been an excellent experience, technician Mr. wolf was able to verify that control dial was bad on hot water heater and that the water pressure was way to high, technician installed high pressure relief valve and installed water heater same day, his complete honesty is why I allowed him to complete the same day install, knowing I had suspected both ongoing issues myself.

The service person was nice. He was respectful of my time and property. Did the maintenance on our water heater.

Not your best effort here! Promised service one day morphed into first up service the next day…then after four calls to your ineffective phone line, a very capable technician finally showed up around 6:30 p.m., many hours after the promised time, and then only after my case received emergency status. I understand that this is high demand season for your service, but the continual assurances that someone was on the way…when they weren’t…was very frustrating. You even had two techs called to my home, when one of them was said to be off that day. Scheduling?

Lion Home Service took care of my plumbing needs quickly, efficiently, and thoroughly! Andy did a great job replacing my old toilet, old leaky anti-siphon valve for my sprinkler system, and rusted-in busted shower cartridge. He offered multiple fixes, gave advice on what I may be able to do myself to save money, and diagnosed another issue I had with a sink that was backing up. Tyler also came out and took care of my drainage issue for the sink in a very timely and efficient manner as well. Both gentlemen were very thorough in checking over their work to ensure the problems were taken care of. I will not hesitate to go directly to Lion Home Service for any additional services I may need in the future.

They flushed out our tankless water heater and did a great job, however they need to work on communication.
When I first contacted them they said our hot water came with 6 annual flushes. When they arrived, we found out that was wrong and we would have to pay $400.
When I asked them about the price difference, they never wrote me back.

I am not sure what the others are complaining about. We have had nothing but great service from Lion for the past 3 years. They have provided us electrical, HVAC, and plumbing services and have always been very professional and polite. They explained what needed done and why, and how much it was going to cost. I highly recommend them to anyone needing the services they offer.

Lion Home Services calls to let patrons know when they have covered services available and strive to schedule the technician to come at a time that is convenient for you. The technician who came today to check my furnace had been here in the past - remembered me and the work I had done as well as giving me recommendations for current repairs to be considered. I agreed and the work was completed professionally in a very timely manner. Highly recommend this company.

Our experience with Lion Home Service was absolutely superb. We woke up to septic tank problems bright and early Saturday morning. We called them early and they answered the phone so we didn't even have to leave a message for a call back. The customer service agent was professional ,kind and sympathetic and was able to get someone out to service our tank within a few hours. Josh, the Technician that came out was fantastic. He did a great job communicating when he was on his way and when he would arrive. He was professional and also very kind. He did not try to upsell the service yet provided what we needed and recommended a time frame in which we should have it checked next time to prevent another event like today. We felt the fee for service was more than reasonable. We highly recommend them.

Corbin and his assistant(I can’t remember his name) were awesome. They were open and honest with me about my issue and said it would cost more for a temporary fix. They could’ve upsold a service and they didn’t. Also, I got stuck at work yesterday and missed my appointment, they were so accommodating and got me scheduled for today even though it was 100% my fault. This company is a great organization and I will for sure call them again. Thanks guys!

I used Lion Home Service to get my home septic tank pumped, and they did a great job. They were prompt in getting back to me to schedule the job, and Lynn, the service tech, arrived on time. He was quite competent, efficient, and friendly. The cost was higher than other businesses charge, but I think the quality of their service was worth it.
