Nixon was great! When I was unable to resolve my hot water heater pilot issue myself, I feared the repairs would be costly. Not only did Nixon repair the problem within an hour, but did so within their standard service call fee.

Nixon was a great help and very knowledgeable. He has a great customer service attitude and I was pleased with his integrity and honesty. He responds quickly to phone calls and was able to arrange an appointment within a short time. I highly recommend him. He went above and beyond in addressing several issues that came up with my furnace and HVAC. I previously had Tipping Hat come out for an annual inspection and they left without even cleaning my furnace. But did indicate I was in urgent need of a replacement. I called Nixon for a second opinion. He not only found my furnace working in great condition, 20.5 out of a 20-25 efficiency rating, after cleaning the filter, brought it back to excellent.
He also addressed a whole home inspection report I completed for selling the property, and came back free of charge to correct a couple minor non threatening issues (attaching a switch to the wall and replacing HVAC insulation that was still intact but showing wear). He is writing up a certified inspection of the furnace and HVAC for me to show any potential buyer. What a great business owner and operator! Can’t find anything bad to say about him or his business practices! Honest, reliable, operates with integrity.

Don't think there is a better HVAC company in the Denver area right now. Great work at a reasonable price and very timely and responsive. Installed a new AC unit. Highly recommended.
Update: had them back for a furnace replacement in another house with a 40+ year old unit that was end of life about a year later. Same great experience.

Update: 3rd AC / furnace unit in a year. Had it up and going super quick. Could not be more happy. Pics to show the quality of work done.

Update: Just did a new furnace to replace a very old one in a condo, and also a cleaning service for an existing 2012 Amana AC Unit. Nixon replaced some insulation that went bad to make it work more efficiently Service went well as always - very prompt - and communication was excellent. His customer service system always works great too in letting me know when jobs are started and done without even asking. Recommended....

Nixon was super helpful and did excellent work for a reasonable price. The previous owner of the house needed the furnace fixed and only did the bare minimum so Nixon was honest about how it might give us problems during the winter so we went ahead and got a whole new setup. Very happy with the service provided and highly recommend Fireside!

The technician, Nixon, was great. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and explained things very well. For any future work, I will always request Nixon.

01/06/26 — Nixon came by to check out some potential furnace issues. He checked out my entire system. After explaining everything thoroughly, it turned out that it was my misunderstanding of how my heating system worked. Thanks to Nixon I have a much better understanding of my system. Also, Nixon took time to enable me to control my thermostat from my iPhone. I encourage anyone who’s having heating or cooling problems to contact Nixon.

1/22/26 -- Once again, Nixon solved some furnace heating problems I was having. He was very prompt and fixed the problems that I was having.

My old furnace was short-cycling and my landlady contacted Zach at Fireside and he did as much as possible to stop the short-cycling. However, the furnace needed to be totally replaced. Zach was at my house 3 times and every time he was on time, did professional work, and in my opinion, the price was reasonable for the work involved. I'd recommend him and Fireside to anyone who needs HVAC work done.

Nixon is an excellent technician. He was transparent and honest with his pricing and the services he could complete. After finishing some repairs, he took the time to not only explain what he did, but how to best take care of the system going forward. I also appreciated how, when searching for a technician, was the only one who took time to answer the phone instead of having to talk to a call center or AI generated voicemails. Would absolutely use his services again.

Nixon is a fabulous technician, he is always transparent with his assessments and always does a great job for us. Highly recommend if you need any HVAC help!

Nixon and Fireside recently installed a 96% American Standard furnace in my home. They were extremely professional, responsive, and did an outstanding job with the installation. I got bids from 7 different companies to replace my furnace and Fireside was by far my preferred choice. Not only was the pricing fair, but they used high quality equipment with the best warranties in the industry. Save yourself some time in the bidding process and just choose Fireside at the start!

10/10 would recommend! Nixon was so great! And we were able to have our service call and furnace motor fixed within 40 hours of calling! Would highly recommend Fireside to anyone needing HVAC services. Kind, fast, reliable.

Nixon was able to come at a short notice on a cold day when my furnace stopped working and even drove all the way to the springs to get a spare part. We decided to go with them for replacing the whole system and they offered us a good deal and were prompt and efficient and very honest. Did not try to upsell us which is always amazing.

I called Fireside Heating & Cooling after receiving a suspiciously high bid for furnace and AC replacement from one of the larger companies serving Highlands Ranch. I am a DIY guy who knows enough about HVAC to spot a bid with questionable upcharges, proprietary equipment, and the potential for a long-term marriage to a company offering expensive service calls. After a few days of haggling with this large company, resulting in a drastically reduced price, I still had an uneasy feeling about the deal. I called Nixon at Fireside Heating & Cooling for a bid. Nixon was extremely professional, knowledgeable and low-pressure. We had a pleasant and frank discussion about the benefits of the brands he offered. The entire experience with Fireside was drama-free. His bid came in well below the the heavily haggled price of his competitor, with no hidden costs or surprises on the day of installation. He was very responsive, with the entire process from bid through installation taking only a few days (non emergency situation). Nixon provided excellent communication throughout the process as well. He finished the installation a couple hours ahead of schedule with no issues whatsoever. I looked over my shiny new American Standard HVAC system and found excellent workmanship with many new parts I was not expecting to be replaced as part of the deal. It is rare these days to get more than you expect, but that is exactly what I got from Fireside Heating and Cooling.

Fireside H&C was referred to my property management company from another much larger property management company. This owner and company is nothing less than the most professional and educated as well as well spoken company that has ever worked for me. Nixon is the epitome of professional and trustworthy and we only use his services. Highly recommend.

Nixon and co at Fireside came out and installed a dual mini-split heating and cooling solution for me. They used my preferred electrician, gave him all the instructions, and the install is immaculate.

Everything works flawlessly, and it looks *REALLY* good.

All the lines were run up through the attic, and out the side of the house in a way that looks very similar to a weather drain pipe coming down.

Excellent service, extremely quick turnaround from quote to install, and the finished product speaks for itself. Or rather, it doesn't, because it's so quiet.

Use these guys if you can. Nixon cared about making sure I had a quality product.
