Constraction reviews in Lakewood, Colorado

We were under contract and needed a mitigation system installed asap.they fit us in and answered all my questions. They always responded in a timely manner.

John did a great job with our radon mitigation system. The price was fair and he was fun to work with. Would highly recommend.

We received 3 quotes for doing radon mitigation. One did not send anyone to see the house and sent a quote for two systems because our house is long. Another came to the house and also quoted 2 systems with one going through a rock wall and our porch. ARM came out and saw the house was on a single slab and went out one side of the house and put some pvc tubing toward the other side. One hole where you would want it out the side of the house. This system is now in place and working great with the radon <1 pCi/L in the basement and the rest of the house. Price was half the other quotes and done very professionally. Very happy with this service.

John did a great job on a not so easy situation. I live up a gnarly road that most will not even come to. My levels were 37 and are no below 1. 10/10 would recommend

"I recently hired this for a remodel, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the initial consultation to the final walk-through, their team was professional, communicative, and highly skilled. The owner, kept me informed every step of the way and was always available to answer my questions. The crew was respectful. Kept the workspace clean, and completed the project on time and within budget. The quality of their workmanship is outstanding. I highly recommend this company for any construction needs!"

Very pleased with construction project management work. Brad also uses a very talented group of experienced subcontractors with expertise in cleanup, drywall, plumbing, framing, electrical, and finish work to get the project done right from start to finish. Highly recommend….

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! BUYER BEWARE!
Absolute nightmare dealing with them! It took them a week to reroof my SMALL house. Months later I am still facing unresolved issues! I’ve wasted so much of my time, effort, and resources dealing with the “owner” of this company! Don’t make my mistake! Buyer beware! -
My experience with this company has been a nightmare. We provided an inspection video showing a break in our sewer line to Pipewise with a request for a quote. The quote seemed fine, so we hired Pipewise to do the job and paid them around $5000. Months later, a subsequent inspection video showed the same break in the sewer line that was in the first video. Somehow the break had not been repaired.
I contacted Pipewise to let them know that the break was not fixed, hoping it was just a mistake that they would make right. To my surprise, they would not accept responsibility. Apparently, since the quote they prepared listed the wrong location for the break in the line, their position was that they were under no obligation to actually fix the break. This seems totally unfair to me, since I had no idea where the break was. I trusted that, as part of preparing the quote, they would correctly identify where the repair would need to be made.
Since Pipewise would not fix the break or give me a refund, I was forced to pay thousands more so that another company could actually fix the break. I genuinely felt Pipewise didn’t do what we hired them for, so I told them I planned to file a claim in small claims court and publish reviews about my experience to warn other people.
Next thing I knew, a lawyer contacted me on behalf of Pipewise. She tried to convince me that going to court would be “messy” and “expensive” and in response to my plan to share my experience to warn others, she repeatedly cautioned me against “doing anything to intentionally harm Pipewise’s business reputation.” I took this as a threat that Pipewise would try to sue me if I published an online review about my experience. I guess I’ll find out.
I’ve pleaded with the lawyer to try to convince Pipewise to do the right thing. I even got another video of the sewer to show more clearly that the break in the original video wasn’t repaired. Unfortunately they don’t seem interested in making things right. They haven’t offered a single dollar to resolve this, despite my basically having to pay twice to have the sewer break fixed. I know I should take them to small claims court, but at this point I don’t want to have anything more to do with them.
Needless to say, I would not recommend doing business with this company. I noticed at least one other review on the BBB site of someone with a similar negative experience, which made me wish I had done a little more research before deciding to go with Pipewise. -
This company performed a sewer line repair break for us, and I thought they did a good job. They performed the work on schedule, and the foreman was good about fixing and clearing some parts at the main line that were also blocked. They came back in a few days after letting the dirt settle and poured/patched the concrete. I didn't have to remind them to come back which was great. I thought the price was very reasonable.

I just went under contract with my buyer and needed a sewer line quote per my inspection. Marty was very responsive to my request. His bid was fair and precise. I recommend Pipewise! Thank you Marty!

I’m surprised at how so few reviews there are for Pipewise. My experience with Marty was fantastic. I didn’t end up using his services but I needed to get a second opinion an estimate on a job that had already started that I was confused about with my kitchen lines. He came out within 48 hours, gave me a no obligation verbal estimate, and on top of that pointed out all the things I needed to know and even gave me the contact information of a good inspector in the city of Denver. He did all this out of goodwill, without any expectation that I would necessarily hire him. And he was very kind and knowledgeable. For sure the next time I have a plumbing project come up, I’m going to reach out to Marty first before I’ve committed to another plumber. Thank you Marty for paying it forward!

Pro order got delayed a few times, no communication on there end

I'm standing here watching the two women in flooring attempt to measure and cut the linoleum I want to buy. The two of them have walked off three times "looking for a man who knows how to do this". They've asked my husband to help them twice and they've warned him about the dangers of the equipment so he doesn't get his hand caught in the equipment... This is ridiculous.

Did you know.... this is also a great place to get IT network supplies: like cat 3 and cat 5 cable, crimpers, cat 5 and cat 3 cable heads, devices for running cables, and batteries for Xbox and play station remotes. 2 to 8+ foot ladders. Great service, friendly and very helpful.

DON'T DO IT, I went to Home Depot to look at options for replacing my front door. At first, the associate was very helpful and I decided to start the process with one of their certified contractors. I paid the upfront cost of $50 for the contractor to come out and measure which would be rolled into the final cost of installation. Well, five days later, I finally get a call from the contractor rep who is based out of state in Las Vegas, NV and the measurement meeting is scheduled. They come out, they measure, and I get a final quote from Home Depot. I was floored! The quote contained a whole slew of items such as 200’ of caution tape, Swiffer Wet 24 count plus a 32 count refill pack, coveralls, shoe covers, and few more items. So, on top of the standard installation fee, they inflated the quote by adding all this other equipment for just one door! Why would I have to pay for 200’ of caution tape??? Ok, now I’m out $50 but at least I can get the measurements so I can start shopping around…nope, the Home Depot associate told me it was proprietary information and they could not furnish the measurements! LAME!

I am beyond pleased with my experience Home Depot. Purchased carpeting and blinds through Associate Erica V. She knows her product knowledge and provided me with solutions to a very old house. Every step of the way she and Hom Solutions (their contractor) did follow-up calls, called proactively and did excellent work. There were no surprises and no disappointments. Everything was done as promised. They are definitely affordable. My house looks beautiful and definitely would recommend Home Depot for home remodeling projects.

The team from Colorado Home Services removed an ancient evaporative cooler from my roof. They were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and did a great job. Definitely recommend them and would use their services again!

Very happy customer here! We were able to get in the schedule super fast and Dylan did a great job. Whole house attic fan installed and is doing exactly what we wanted/ needed. The only “improvement “ I would say is make sure to discuss your home ventilation in attic thoroughly to make sure you get the accurate size for your attic. We ended up be able to get a bigger unit without adding extra ventilation after we discussed the ventilation more in detail the second time we spoke with the reps. Otherwise is great and would recommend for sure! Thanks so much!

David G. and his team from Colorado Home Services installed two skylights in our house (new install- no previous cut in roof). Nate was our sales contact and he was kind and was sure to answer all my questions about the install and the final product. David G was very professional- and was sure to verify all placement of the skylight and the flares. He worked with me to ensure that it would look as good as possible (centered between exisiting lights), while respecting the structural limitations (can't cut more than 1 joist- must place between joists/rafters) of both spaces. We ran into some issues with the framing, but David and his team came out multiple times until it was fixed. While it would have been nice to have it all done in the estimated 2 days rather than 4- David and his team made sure to get everything right at no extra charge from their bid. Highly recommend working with their drywaller contact -Luis as well. Together they had a very competitive price. My new skylights are beautiful and are a serious improvement. They completely change the space of a classic Denver bungalow.
