We have been using Sundown for our backyard and sprinkler updates and fixes. Whitcome Wade has gone above and beyond fixing all the things that break on 25 year old sprinklers. Even found a valve that had been moved all the way in our back yard. He works hard and is very pleasant. The backyard pergola and plantings are looking great too.

This review is for one of your drivers, license plate OAJ•834. We were driving into Home Depot off 88th and Sheridan on 04/21/25 at 5:40pm. We were driving past the main door when your driver failed to stop at a stop sign when we had right away and drove right out in front of us almost causing us to t-bone him. Sounds like you have a dangerous driver within your company that needs to be addressed. The driver kept driving even though we signalled at him for his error and had no regard for how dangerous he was driving.

I have used Designs by Sundown for almost four years now and have had nothing but positive experiences with them. From the design and installation to our weekly mowing and maintenance. Our Client Representative, Tracy V is AWESOME. She consistently checks in to make sure we're happy and is always available to answer questions and deal with issues. Couldn't recommend a company more!

Casey Steere with Designs by Sundown has been the best yard care manager I have worked with! He explains all options - options for services I didn’t know were available before. He is quick to respond- great follow through and oversees all the work that is done! We had sprinklers installed, new sod and beds redesigned.. They did an amazing job!

DBS has great sprinkler service! I have used them several times recently and been very pleased. My most recent experience was with Anthony E. and he did a complete system check, making adjustments and repairs where needed. Thanks to his work, my lawn is getting complete coverage and my flower beds are thriving. I highly recommend this company!
An update for July 2025: James with DBS was here today to make a number of adjustments, including moving sprinkler heads, and he did a fantastic job! I gave him a long list of my irrigation concerns and he addressed all my questions with excellent results. Very professional, courteous, and just plain nice. Thanks James!

An absolutely terrific experience for both the front and back patio project. Excellent design work. Excellent execution. They are just turnkey. The come in the morning and work safely and expertly each day, all day. They schedule the work to be “on the job” M-F. None of this “start on Tuesday and come back three days later, work 2 days, then leave for a week, and then come back. Nope. They start the job and work until it’s done. Absolutely top notch installations and execution. Highly recommend.

We have had the pleasure of working with Designs by Sundown (DbS) for almost a decade now. DbS (Keven W., lead designer) designed a spectacular outdoor space for our new home in the foothills of Littleton. From the very beginning during the design phase, we have encountered nothing but professional, hardworking, delightful people who really care about the outdoor spaces they create and maintain for their customers. They created several outdoor living spaces that we enjoy year-round, and the spaces fit perfectly with the luxury mountain home design of our home.

The professionals that maintain the grounds of our home are likewise extremely hardworking, professional, and respectful of us and our property. We enjoy having them on our property and trust them with our landscaping needs. Katie, our account manager, and Roy Junior, our onsite crew lead, are both friendly, responsive, caring, and willing to work with us to ensure our satisfaction. The entire DbS team is amazing to work with and we are very happy to continue with this valuable relationship.

I took a minute to read some of the reviews before posting my review. According to the reviews, they don't seem to do the best work. Anyway. With that being said, our review is not about the work, but one of the employees. I was riding my bike headed home today in the bike lane near the home Depot in Littleton. A driver in one of their Vans made a left turn in front of me without ever looking and nearly hit me. I had to romp on the brakes and jump off the bike to avoid being hit. When I followed this driver into the parking lot to confront him, he got out of the vehicle, said he didn't care about any of it, laughed at Bay and when I said I was going to report them he just said "Go ahead. I don't care". If this is any indication of the type of employee that this company employs, it is easy to see why their work might be substandard. If I could give zero Stars, I would surely do so. I may edit this review based upon the response I received from their human resources department.

I’ve been working with Designs by Sundown for several years on a 13 acre property I manage. Bavington and his maintenance crew are knowledgeable, communicative about issues that need to be addressed and always leave the property looking amazing. Would highly recommend

I was beyond impressed with my entire experience with Designs By Sundown. Wayne did an excellent job of addressing our needs and creating a beautiful design. Brandon, the project manager, went above and beyond on communicating every step of the project. Horacio and his crew were such hard workers and their attention to detail was beyond impressive. In November, 2024, a Designs by Sundown crew rebuilt a curved, 40 year-old brick sidewalk for our home and did an outstanding job. This was a technically difficult project because it involved both curves and elevation change. They removed all of the existing brick, setting it aside for later use. Dug out the old sand and soil, installed at least six inches road base which they compacted and added a layer of sand. They then re-installed the brick, which are perfectly level, added invisible edging and properly applied polymeric sand to the cracks which hardens to prevent weeds and movement. We have received many compliments on our "new" sidewalk. Experience matters with challenging projects like this one and the Designs by Sundown crew brought that experience to bear. The price was reasonable for the work and taking into account the difficulty and complexity of this job. I really enjoyed working with Jessica and Hannah from Sundown Designs. They were so great helping me pick out new fabrics for our existing outdoor cushions, new lounge chairs and umbrella and finished it off with a beautiful rug! They both were super sweet, excited to help me, and followed through beautifully to make our outdoor space warm and inviting. I sincerely and highly recommend that you work with them!

Went to a real estate event here and was blown away by how beautiful the grounds are! Nice plants, paved areas, a covered bar and a landscaped river and waterfall! They also had a Roomba that mowed the grass which was the coolest part, didn't know those existed... but I need one. I'd love to host my own event here in the future!

A couple people I spoke with had gotten their landscape lighting done with Designs by Sundown and spoke so highly of their lighting division!

The short story: I highly Recommend Designs by Sundown.
The long story: We live on a beautifully rural 5 acre property. When we purchased the home everything was overgrown, neglected and a bit foreboding. I interviewed 7 different companies ranging in price and scope of abilities. While Sundown was on the high end they were also kind, responsive and thorough.
3 years ago we decided to add some medittion gardens and snede up going with a different company. BIG mistake. I ended up having to watch over every step and advocate for my own desires concerning hardscape, softscapes and finishing touches and everything inbetween.
This year we decided to make things more waterwise planning for the future. This included adding a retaining wall so we could level out the sod, reducing the sod by 1/3 and adding mulched in areas with drip irrigation, landscape lighting for walkways, redoing the sprinkler system for optimization and adding a couple of smaller paver patio spaces. The ONLY company we wanted was Designs by Sundown.
We worked with Matthew on the design, Kyle with scheduling and Omar was our job lead. the pride in their work was impressive. As we live here, they kept the job site clean, blowing off areas at the end of day and putting away all tools and miscellaneous items they needed throughout the day.
We met every week to go over the project and discuss any issues or concerns we had which meant we eliminated bigger problems at the end of the project. We received a weekly email with an overview of how things had gone and what to expect for the next week. And, if we had concerns in the middle of the week we only needed to reach out and they were on top of fixing it quickly.

I can’t recommend them enough.

Side note: Yes, there are less expensive companies and yet, In my experience, you undoubtedly get what you pay for. The added stress and frustration throughout your project aren’t worth skimping on price.

it is Dec 23rd. I contracted a job in the $1000's. My outside lights are dark, none are on. I've tried to call Designs by Sundown but they are closed until Jan 2 the message says.
My contact who made the contract doesn't answer her phone or

Excellent experience from Day 1 through completion! We have a 1-acre site and had it completely redone. The design was excellent; management of construction was excellent; timely construction and excellent finished product. You cannot ask for more than Designs by Sundown delivered.

I love DBS. We've worked with them for years. They're incredibly professional and zero BS. Stephanie is so awesome, helpful, and funny! She makes things so easy for me, and she really helped me keep the yard running through having a baby. I would highly recommend DBS, and we'll be working with them for years to come.

This is, by far, the best company we have ever worked with. Our landscape designer, Grant Davis, has been especially knowledgeable, professional, personable, patient, and so very easy to work with. I cannot speak highly enough about our experience with Grant.

The entire crew, including Rafa and Reggie, were responsive, hardworking, and polite. Our yard, including our sidewalk, driveway, and street were left clean and swept each evening. They delivered on everything that was promised.

I would recommend this company without reservation. In fact, I recommended Grant to my sister. She is now having Grant and Designs by Sundown redo her yard and is having the same excellent experience.
