This is my third review on Welzig and horrible 3rd rate customer service. Well it’s October 29th and the low was down to 19 degrees. You guessed it, the furnace stopped working. We had a technician out about 3 weeks ago. Cameron re-wired the unit and said that it should solve the problem of the unit blowing a fuse. Nope it did not. Welzig also gave me a 10 yr Warranty for the unit. It states No Frustration Guarantee, Service within 24 hours or pay you $500. I have included a picture of the certificate. But Welzig is better at gaslighting than they are at repairing an HVAC system. So if you are okay with broken promises, you should call Welzig and also date my ex. So now while the lows are supposed to be in the 20’s we have no furnace. Oh they did provide space heaters in the meantime. We will wait for the control board and see if that is the fix we need. So keep Googling to a different HVAC company and find one that tells you about rebates that are offered by the energy companies.

I needed to replace my 30 year furnace. I had several HVAC companies to get estimates for a new unit. Welzig came back in the middle but I appreciated the customer service presentation at the time of the estimate. Welzig promptly replaced the furnace at the end of August. I wanted to have the install done before the weather became cooler. So the furnace was installed and was tested that day. I paid Welzig in full. The first cold snap we got the furnace didn't turn on. I called Welzig and they had a technician come out that day. James came and looked at the furnace and said that the wiring was bare and making the fuse short out. It was nice the next couple days and then we got some more cold weather and the furnace will not turn on again. I asked to talk to a manager and was told he was in the field and would call me later in the day and I never received a phone call. It is the next day we will see what the technician comes up with. The low was down to 37 degrees last night and we sick kids that don't have heat.

***Really Welzig I have already reached out to have a manager contact me and I haven't been called yet. so why would this time be any different? You are quick to respond to the bad review but not quick to respond to getting the furnace fixed.

I had a great experience with Welzig this past week. Our AC stopped working Tuesday evening. It was 16 years old and had issues so we knew it would need to be replaced soon, but had put it off. Wednesday morning I called Welzig and a few hours later Casey was able to make it out to our house. After inspecting the old AC and taking some measurements, he gave us a quote for several different replacement options, patiently answered all the questions I had, and was very candid about the pros and cons of each of the replacement options which I really appreciated.

The following day James and Anthony were able to able to come out and install the new unit. Both of them were incredibly professional and I appreciated that they both took time to answer a bunch of questions that I had (I don't know much about HVAC but am always curious to learn how things work). I also really appreciated the care and attention to detail that they took when installing the new unit. The old pad outside that the compressor rests on is on a small slope and had become canted sometime in the last 16 years. Instead of just placing the new unit down on the pad, James took time to re-level the pad before installing. He also took time to straighten out the old lines and install the new copper piping much more cleanly than they had been installed previously. The end result is that I have a brand-new AC that works great, looks great, will hopefully last for many years to come. Thank you.

Jon did an excellent job installing a tub inside a very tight space and re-doing existing plumbing to fit. Highly recommend Welzig!!

I’ve had way too many name brand HVAC companies try to bamboozle me, to the point of corruption. These folks were so responsive, spent time trying to fix the problem, fully explained all of their actions, and provided me with a quote literally tens of thousands of degrees lower than other do-called reputable companies.

We recently had to call Welzig because our AC stopped working. They came out immediately and the technician, Cameron Ryan, spent hours figuring out the problem. He was so patient going over the recommendations and estimates with me. He got back out ASAP to complete the repairs and upgrades to make our system run more efficiently. Cameron spent all day on our repairs - he is definitely an expert in his field, but also a polite and friendly guy! I highly recommend Welzig and Cameron as your tech.

Cameron was amazing. He took care of the problem quick and efficiently. He was also able to explain complex things to me in a way that I could understand it.

Travis Colley is an absolute gentleman and when it comes to HVAC he knows his stuff!!! You guys are lucky to have him. Great demeanor and very pleasant and explained everything to a T. Thanks so much, Travis!!!!!!

We recently added a hot water recirculating pump to our new water heater (previously installed by Welzig) Jerry did a wonderful job with the install. Highly experienced, professional plumber and the system works as well as we had hoped it would.

Prompt service. Clear from outset on what job involved and on what cost entailed. The service person on the phone snd the plumber were both very courteous and friendly. I recommend.

Rainier, my technician, was very, very nice and did a very efficient, quick job inspecting my furnace. I could quickly sense that he was most attentive to detail and wanted to do a good job.
I would totally give Rainier, the technician, and Welzig Heating, Air, Plumbing and Electricity a positive 👍 thumbs up!

We have used Welzig for many years. They are always friendly and courteous and do a great job keeping our furnace and air conditioning working in tip top shape! Update: 1/22/26, Welzig came back to the house to replace some foam insulation on our furnace pipes. Anthony arrive on time and was finished quickly. Since we have the Welzig platinum plan we didn't pay anything for either call. Great service!

Jerry Hearn is a true professional. I appreciated his knowledge of our plumbing situation and his ability to explain it to me in simple terms. He was friendly and efficient! Highly recommend.

I was very impressed with the electrician that came out to help me with my fan issue. I found Welzig to be very responsive, professional, and really worked with me to be able to solve the loud noise coming from my continuous ceiling duct fan. They really helped me out!! I would highly recommend using them.

James was awesome! He got to the house on time, worked diligently, and was very communicative on what was wrong. So far, I have enjoyed every interaction I've had with Welzig, and would definitely recommend them!

The person that set up the appointment for our plumbing repairs was very nice and helpful. The repair tech, Kory, explained what he was doing in detail and was very helpful. It was a pleasure to have him here for the repair work.
