What can I say about G2. Professional , Honest , Organized , Detailed, Loyal , Respect and a top notch team. I need more customers like G2. I work closely with Jeff Carlson. Jeff is a good man and I consider him my friend.

G2 recently completed a reroof of our home and I couldn't be more pleased. Working with Jeff was a pleasure because his communication and knowledge made the process stress free for me from start to finish. And his crew worked hard to get it done quickly and their workmanship was second to none. Thank you G2!

G2 Construction is a highly reputable company. G2 replaced our roof this week and did a fantastic job! They were fast, efficient and professional. We had some issues with our insurance company not wanting to cover the cost and Jeff Carlson from G2 went to bat for us and contacted our insurance company. Jeff's extremely honest, hard-working and professional! He stayed in constant contact with us and when the insurance company approved our claim, he had a team out in a short period of time and we received a high quality roof that will last for years to come. No matter your need, G2 is the company to call. With owner, Derek Griess and every employee you can expect great quality work at fair prices. They are dependable, trustworthy and reliable!

We hired G2 construction to replace windows in our old 1970's style basement. They needed to cut out part of the concrete to install legal egress windows and also replaced all the other windows as well. Even though the work was done in the winter, everything went very smoothly and the job was completed on time and for the amount they quoted us. I would definitely recommend G2 Construction for any remodel work you need done.

G2 Construction did an amazing job re-doing all our windows. Came out and measured multiple times, were very flexible with schedules. The framing of the windows is wonderful, even when some hiccups came- handled professionally and wonderfully. Jeff handled everything wonderfully. And Steve and crew did an amazing job removing, installing, mudding, painting/staining, and framing the windows.

I just got a new roof yesterday using G2 Construction. The process, from start to finish, was transparent, smooth and respectful. The crew came at 7 am and finished the same day at 7:30 pm; leaving without a trace except for the new roof. I immediately went up on the roof (which I have done for 30 years) and it was magnificent: impressive overall - finishing, materials, - a job well done. I will recommend them to all I know and even strangers. It is much appreciated.

Nick and the G2 guys as well as each sub-contractor were great. All were professional, respectful of our home and our own scheduling high needs. They showed up when they said they would, cleaned up when they finished for each day. There were some design quandaries that needed to be addressed. Nick and his guys were flexible, innovative, and helped us mitigate some things to a better than designed outcome. Nick’s communication with us was outstanding. He always treated us as if we were the most important project they had, even though we were probably one of the smaller ones.
I will definitely use G2 again and would use them again, especially if we could get Nick and the same crew. Did I mention they finished under budget?

Fantastic experience with Jeff at G2 on several home construction projects. I originally wrote this review four years ago, and I stand by every word. After more than a decade of working with G2, I can confidently say they continue to be the best in the business. They have never let me or my clients down, and I remain incredibly loyal to their team.
I’ve worked closely with Nick, their Interior Remodels Project Manager, for the past eight years, and he has been consistently professional, responsive, and detail-oriented. He communicates clearly & consistently, follows through, and genuinely cares about the quality of the work and the client experience. Having someone that dependable makes a huge difference in this industry, and it’s one of the reasons I continue to trust G2 with all of my projects.

Nick is a very talented carpenter and provides great customer service. Built our custom bed in place and a 7 person bunk room all of outstanding quality.

It has taken us over a year to write this review, but I think that was meant to be. We have had the opportunity to live in our home for the year, and we can honestly say, the quality of the work, and the experience of working with Nick Klostermann and G2 Construction, has been amazing, and we love our "new" home.

We met Nick Klostermann when we were taking bids on the remodel of our home built in 1963. We had spoken to many people with many ideas, then we were introduced by our designer, Lena Samuelson with D2D Studios. After discussing with Nick, we came away with a solid plan involving taking the entire home down to the studs. We all agreed that was better than cosmetic changes we thought would make us happy to live in our home until we can't. He prepared a proposal that was detailed and well thought out we took no more time to begin our project. This was the best decisions we could have made. When we asked how long it would take, and he answered, we laughed and said we would add 3-6 months. I think we offended him. Once we received all the permits, he was off and running. Not only did the house get completed in the timeline he promised, it came in right at the amount of his proposal. We made minor modifications, and we were not nickel and dimed by change orders. Yes, we made significant changes, but he was up front and fair about the changes.

We have had some minor adjustments and punch list items in the past year, and Nick or his assistant Alex, show up and make such adjustments. Again, no nickel and diming. During the project and to this day, if we call Nick, he either answers the call or texts us to tell us when he can call back. Communication has never been an issue.

We have heard so many horror stories from friends who have done projects on their homes. If they had known Nick and G2 Construction, they would have had a much more positive experience as we did. We would be happy to recommend him for any project.

Being in the trades I work with a lot of contractors but G2 has to be one of the most professional and detailed oriented companies I have worked with. They keep job sites the organized physically clean with great respect to the owners/clients specific needs to get the job done right and to their satisfaction. They don’t cut any corners, document everything extensively and if any issues do come up they take responsibility and attack it head on to make things right. Not alot of companies out there with that high of standards. I would highly recommend them as the first choice on any construction projects. Great company with excellent staff.
