That’s the best way to describe our recent project with Steve Bednarchik. Our vision was to create a natural-looking water feature that would enhance our outdoor living experience—and Steve delivered exactly that.

From the very beginning, Steve worked closely with us to design and build the perfect feature, all within our budget. His foreman, Fidel, and the expert crew exceeded our expectations throughout the construction process. They were professional, respectful of our property, and completed the project on time, just as promised.

In the end, we now have a beautifully designed, well-built water feature that we can enjoy year-round—along with the peace of mind that comes from working with a local company we trust to be there if anything comes up.

This was actually our second time working with Steve and American Design & Landscape. Both projects were seamless, painless, and genuinely fun experiences. We couldn’t be happier!

American Design & Landscape did a professional job and we are pleased with the results! American Design and Landscape did a new paver stone patio and walkways for us over the summer. Steve was very easy to work with on the design and was extremely patient with changes to the design. Jose and his team have amazing attention to detail and built a beautiful back patio and walkways. I am very happy with the process and the results! They do quality work, are easy to work with, prompt, and have honest pricing.

We were referred to American Design & Landscape by a friend and neighbor who had used them previously and was using them once again for landscaping work in back. We called Steve and he came out to design a deck around our pool area and pool equipment pad, which at the time was still under construction. Various ADL Teams took on different phases of the work, but they were ALL amazing. They were respectful of our home, land, and animals - always courteous, responsive, and willing to please. Gustavo and the sprinkler/drain/dirt crew and Jesus and the paver crew, were true professionals. Their teams worked tirelessly (sometimes under poor conditions) to keep progress moving forward. The work on our project consisted of mainly deck design, deck pavers, paver steps, rock relocation, dirt/sprinkler work, underground drainage, and drain relocation. Steve was onsite often to make sure things were going smoothly and the work stayed true to our vision. He was also key in recommending sub-contractors for things like gas, which I really appreciated. In addition, the owner visited us several times and made it very clear to us that she was available if we needed anything from her. Overall, working with ADL was a great experience for us and we are grateful to our neighbor for the referral. We now consider the folks at ADL friends and if we ever do landscaping work of any kind in the future, we will make ONE call…to American Design & Landscape.

We have contracted with American Design & Landscape (ADL) to design and landscape both our front and back yards. This past week they started and completed the first phase which included the back and side yard hardscape. Our backyard is small and also has an extreme slope on one side. Their designer, Tia offered a cost-effective solution including a paver patio, concrete step units, paver path installation, and a cobblestone swale for water flow redirection and drainage. Fidel and his team nailed it! The team worked hard to implement the design. I watched how attentive they were to precise measurements and leveling. It looks fantastic. Thus far I have been very pleased. The ADL people, process and product have been exceptional.

From the initial inquiry, to meeting with design consultant Tia M, to installation, American Design and Landscape is by far the most professional, knowledgeable landscape company. Great communication and follow-up. Jaime and his crew were awesome! Access to the site was challenging but they managed everything like real pros. The crew left the site in meticulous condition. Love the fact that they've been in business for 50+ years which is a testament to their reputation. Can't say enough about this company, you won't be disappointed.

American Design and Landscape did an exceptional update to our landscape. Steve Bednarchik managed the design and landscape work. Fidel and his crew of Hugo, Jorge,Jesus Murillo and Jesus Villegas worked tirelessly through the heat of the day to give us an absolutely beautiful outcome. Gustavo then came in to finish off the irrigation system. Thanks for a job well done!!!

After unsuccessfully searching for a reputable landscaping company for months, we took a recommendation from our realtor, and contacted American Landscape and Design. Working with Tia Mower was a pleasure. She created a design matching our vision for xeriscaping our front yard and artificial turf in our backyard, all within the constraints of our HOA CC&R’s. After we (and our HOA) approved the design, the demo and installation could not have gone better—They were able to start early and finished ahead of schedule (in less than a week!!). Tia’s ample crew was extremely efficient and professional and did an excellent job. They cleaned up every night, rain or shine. We couldn’t be happier with the results and would highly recommend American Landscape and Design.

American Design & Landscape went above and beyond my expectations! We worked first with Tia to design a great landscape plan within our budget. She was great throughout every step in the process, always being sure to answer any questions we had. I can’t say enough great things about Tia or Jaime and his crew! Jaime and his crew were always on time and their attention to detail was like none other! From making slight design choices to better suit the plan with no added cost to us to making sure no detail was missed. I would definitely recommend this company for all of your landscaping needs! Overall, AMAZING!

We would recommend American Design & Landscape to anyone!! Between the collaborative and comprehensive plan that Steve put together, and the unbelievably smooth crews run by Fidel and Gustavo. They were incredibly efficient, even with a few rainstorms that very easily could have put them behind schedule.
Steve was excellent about keeping us informed of every detail that was taking place. They all went above and beyond expectations.

To keep it simple, I have worked with a lot of contracting companies in my time and not a single one can even compare to the experience I had with ADL. I brought my own design to ADL however, that didn't hinder the process in the least. Tia was able to work with the plans I provided and make some adjustments and recommendations based on her knowledge and experience. Not only was everyone on time, and thorough in their work, but the attention to the little details were amazing. From hand separating the cobble/rocks by size to achieve a look. To really taking the time to sort out and position 9 boulders for optimal aesthetic value. There were up front about the things that were not necessarily needed and could reduce cost, while at the same time explaining why certain things mattered more than others. I honestly can't compliment Tia and Jose and the rest of the team enough. One day I will come back in from my new yard.... but not yet.

Working with American Design and Landscape was the best decision we made during the whole process of renovating our back yard! We put a lot of time and effort into trying to find the right contractor to remodel the back yard, and I can confidently say that American Design and Landscape was the best choice and we cannot wait to work with them on future outdoor renovations as well. We cannot recommend them enough! Quick Shoutout to Zane - Amazing communicator, thoughtful vision, and incredibly friendly. Could not have asked for anyone better to help walk us through the whole process.

Tia M from American Design and Landscape in Parker, CO, developed a great design for the major landscape refresh at our home. She and the landscaping crew were responsive to mini changes throughout the process and answered all of our questions along the way as well. Fidel and his entire team did a wonderful job on the hardscape and plantings. ADL turned our front yard into a piece of art. They transformed an outdated 40-year old, non-descript backyard into an inviting space (with a new 2-level stairway, flagstone walkways, patio for our firepit and architectural boulders for seating) that will bring years of enjoyment & relaxation. The winter weather was a constant challenge to work through, but they persevered resulting in a beautiful landscape transformation. The new trees, xeriscape plants, bushes and grasses have brought beautiful color to our yard. I highly recommend American Design and Landscape for all your landscape updates.

After getting several estimates, I ended up hiring American Design & Landscape because of the design that was drawn up for my front yard xeriscaping and their price was in my budget. Tia was an absolute pleasure to work with even when I changed my mind about some of the plants...I learned a lot about plants from her! The crew that did the work was fantastic and fast! I highly recommend this company!

My wife and I purchased a new build home in Parker and contracted with American Design and Landscape for our backyard, we highly recommend them! Their designer was able to take a conceptual sketch we put together and transform it into a plan that was then executed perfectly. The crews were professional and completed the project in a timely manner. We are looking forward to working with American Design and Landscape in the future.

We had an excellent experience with AD&L. Our project was a complete overhaul of the landscaping around our 5 acre property in Parker, CO. Steve did a fantastic job with the design and management of the project. Fidel and his landscaping team (consisting of Hugo, Jesus V, Alejandro, Jesus M and Jaime ) were very professional and hardworking, always full of positive team spirit, and they all clearly took pride in delivering a beautiful product. The same goes for Gustavo and his irrigation team of Miguel, Juan Carlos and Jose. AD&L exceeded our expectations in all respects, and we are very happy with the results of our project.

I cannot recommend this company enough. We have a new build in Parker, CO and have used them for front landscaping, backyard landscaping, concrete (through contractor), professional lighting, a boulder wall, and the addition of several plants and trees. Through it all Tia, our designer and project manager:
1) Gave us great renderings and drawings of the various plans, plants and placements.
2) Paid special attention to slope and drainage issues
3) Oversaw every aspect of the various projects

Each one of their crews were professional, friendly and efficient, and work harder than you will believe. They are by no means the cheapest option, but their work speaks for itself.

American Design and Landscape is the best landscaping company I’ve ever worked with! I spent the better part of 6 months vetting companies for our large backyard landscape project and honestly have nothing but good things to say about them.

The project entailed removal of existing grass and concrete, addition of 8 semi loads of dirt to re-grade the property, extend the lawn with new sod, addition of a large beautiful water feature, paver patio, large fire boulder, multiple trees, a lot of irrigation work, drainage, and installation of over two dozen large decorative boulders, rock and mulch. They even drill seeded the property from where all the trucks accessed the back yard. We are on 9 acres.

Steve and his team were at our house every morning at 7:15 like clockwork making it all happen. It was really fun to watch the transformation. Special thank you to Jesus for all the irrigation work, Gustavo, Shae, and the entire team of workers for all the hard work making it happen! Everyone was polite, happy to be there, respectful of our property and a pleasure to work with. You can really tell they love what they do.

Steve followed up every morning to ensure the project was going as planned and to give us updates along the way. He even personally cut our fire boulder, which is no small task!

I can’t wait to have everyone back out next spring for more projects!

Fun fact: American Design and Landscape did the original landscaping on our house when the previous owners built back in 1996!

We moved into our home a few years ago and found that we rarely used our backyard as there was so much rock! We reached out to American Design & Landscape to see what they would suggest to improve our yard. Tia was amazing. She transformed the backyard to a space that we now enjoy using. It does not even look like the same yard! Fidel and his team did such a great job. They worked tirelessly every day to produce a patio that exceeded our expectations.
