Ever have a great start to a day, and in a split second everything just goes down the drain? Well it wasn’t going down the drain for me; it was being pumped out of my basement sump pump. That’s when I knew I needed help. I called Big Apple; best thing I could have done! They were out to my house within a hour!! He took a look where the main water was coming into my house and pointed out to me where the water leak was coming from. He explained that it could be in the cement or in my yard…. Either way he could get it back into operation the same day!

Long story short…. He showed me the issued piping, and I opted to have a brand new pipe installed from the water main to my house. They just dig out a hole around the water main now and don’t have to trench and dig out the whole yard.

I couldn’t have asked for a better expert or quicker response!

Asked this company to unclog a drain in our utility room, a routine task done by other companies many time in the past. Their worker broke the cast iron drain cover with excessive force requiring an additional $300 in costs. Lakewood plumbing offered some adjustment after I complained, but I was still stuck with costs above what is normally charged for such a service. Now the drain appears to be only partially cleared and water is backing up into the sink I the utility room. I do not recommend this plumbing company.
