I called Difranco Contractors in Chagrin Falls, OH for a quote on a backyard concrete patio removal and re-pour, because the job was only 600 sq ft. he did not want to quote it so he lied and said he doesn't do work in Parma Heights/Parma. Their web site clearly states that they service Northeast Ohio. Had he stated that he didn't want the job I could respect his position and moved on. But as a liar, I have no respect for DiFranco Contractors and would not use them and would advise anyone considering hiring them, to proceed with caution.

We had a basement waterproofing job done that required a deck and old concrete removal because it was over the wall. Gianni was the only one who I feel quoted the job honestly and to actually SOLVE the problem from the outside - not just put a band aid over it temporarily from the inside and offer a meaningless ‘lifetime warranty' like several quoted us. His estimate was very fair for the amount of work involved and still comparable to the others who would not do the extensive work. He and his crew were on time each day, very professional, always left the site clean and had superb communication. He also fit us into his schedule with additional work pouring a new patio and went above and beyond. This is probably a smaller job for his outfit, but we were never treated as a small job. This is the kind of company you want working at your home - these repairs are stressful for homeowners, but they made it painless. We’re so pleased with the quality of work, skill, attention to detail and overall great experience - we highly recommend and will use DiFranco Contractors Inc. again!!

This guy really helped me out last fall and I really can't say enough good things about him. Last fall we had a corner of my basement taking in water really bad. My wife had two companies come out she found on the internet come out and look at our issues. Both companies wanted to install an interior basement waterproofing system in the whole basement. One quoted us $9000 and the other was just over $7000. A friend of mine suggested I call DiFranco as they've had used them for some similar work. The owner came out and looked the outside corner behind a bush and determined that a downspout line had become disconnected and was splashing water directly against the outside of the foundation. He came over on a Saturday and made a quick repair and said it should take care of the problem. Total cost $200. This completely solved the problem. I almost got ripped off. Thanks again!

I am with Sierra Construction in Frederick, MD. We contract for the USPS and we had several concrete jobs at different post offices in the Chardon Ohio area. I searched for contractors to no avail and then I saw Di Franco Contractors. I called and Mr. DiFranco who was very nice,, said he would assist me and made visits to each site. He kept in close contact with me on any updates and also with the managers on sites. I was extremely pleased with his work ethics and quality of work. He was very nice to deal with, very professional in everything he did and the workmanship was amazing! I highly recommend him for any of your concrete/construction needs.

I already wrote a 5 star post two years ago when DiFranco Contractors waterproofed our basement and designed/poured a new patio. 2 yrs later after an extremely wet fall, winter, and spring and literally a swamp in our backyard - NO issues whatsoever with our basement. None - dry as a bone! We are so thrilled and know we went with the best contractor around for this work. I also reached out to Gianni with questions on a new property we were considering - he called me right away and gave me his professional opinion and estimate of work needed. We didn't purchase that property, but will always use (and recommend) this company for future work needed in any home!

We live in Chagrin Falls, Ohio and needed basement waterproofing work done on our home. After talking to several other companies, we hired Difranco to do the work for us. The other companies sent out salesman to our home and tried to pressure us into hiring them to the work. We felt more comfortable in dealing directly with the owner. We were very happy with the work that was completed and would recommend them to anyone seeking this kind of home improvement.

Gianni and his crew did a fantastic job rehabbing our driveway. We have a long (750 ft.) gravel driveway that needed redone. We chose recycled asphalt as the replacement. The team redefined the driveway, put in a new culvert pipe and laid the new material. They did such a great job with all the edging around our barn, garage, and turnaround - lots of attention to detail!

DiFranco Contractors regraded the property, ran some drainage pipes and updated / expanded the back patio with concrete. Working with them was a wonderful experience all around. They communicated well and stayed on budget. They were here for almost a week; arrived on time every day and left the job site very clean. I highly recommend DiFranco Contractors and would use them again if another job arises.
