Cristobal Concrete Construction can be trusted to do a great job when working with concrete. Recently I had a drive way and walk way repaired. They were very competitive. Their attention to detail was outstanding. They were timely and communication was excellent. I would definitely use them again.

This company’s owner goes above and beyond. There is no estimate nor job to small or big for them to handle. They are kind professional and operate with much integrity to finish the job with reasonable cost to keep their customers happy. The loyalty of true hard work shows and they still will follow up with you too. I am blessed and so fortunate to have mad the opportunity to have found them.

Excellent quality work!!! I saw great reviews about Cristobal Concrete Construction so I decided to call. Rolando has great costumer service skills and he is a professional at what he does. He share 20+ years of experience working with concrete and the quality of the concrete really shows. He help explained the process and before pouring he made sure I like the layout. Haul away is expensive, do it right the first time call Cristobal Concrete Construction because I’m glad I did.

Today, Rolando and his team with Cristobal Concrete Construction just finished an amazing concrete job at my home. Rolando came to my home in Oakhurst and gave me a very fair estimate. He listened attentively when I showed him the concrete work I wanted done. He also provided very good advice when I had a question or had a better idea to accomplish what I wanted done. The work was completed in a timely manner; the team worked flawlessly with each other, paid attention to detail, and did a great job. I am a Cristobal Concrete Construction fan. I will always call them for my concrete work needs and recommend them whenever I can.

Rolando of Cristobal Concrete Construction is great to work with. He and his team did a fantastic job on our new driveway, gate, and garage foundation. It was a complex job, but Rolando accomplished it with expertise, professionalism, and affability, at a fair price. He is a perfectionist, artist, engineer, chemist, and project manager, all in one person.

Communication was excellent throughout the project, and he worked seamlessly with other subcontractors to get the desired result: a strong, visually appealing, highly engineered project that will last for years.

I highly recommend Rolando and his crew. They are highly professional, easy to work with, fun to be around, and do excellent work. They go the extra mile to make sure you are getting the result you want, and that you get a beautiful, sturdy structure.

I highly recommend Greg and his team for all your backyard and patio needs. He is attentive to detail, professional, and provided updates along the way from start to finish. The awing they put up with the unique design with the pergola was outstanding. It fits the house just right and the way we wanted it to be done. The barbecue turned out fantastic with the masonry work done perfectly for the design we chose. The fire pit is awesome and at our first party, everyone was around the pit in chairs and on the semi circle 13 foot bench they built. Again, here the masonry work with the stones we chose turned out the way we wanted. The colors of the rocks and the pergola all blend in very nicely with the yard and house. They did an excellent job of putting together all the things we wanted n our back yard patio design with the awning, barbecue and fire pit with a stone bench.

When Greg first came out to measure and bid on my patio project we discussed the slope of the new cement pad and how it would extend the existing pad and slope away from my house for proper drainage. I failed to have this detail written in our contract with instructions to consult me if there were changes...live and learn.

The new cement work turned out beautiful, however the new pad sloped towards the existing cement instead of what we discussed earlier. Greg explained why it had to done that way, but I wasn’t consulted before hand. If I was I would have suggested adding a proper drainage system and would have gladly paid for the additional cost.

After it rained, water puddled in the middle of the patio and it was clear that the existing cement joints were insufficient to carry water off the patio. Greg and his cement crew responded quickly and increased the depth and slope of the joint where it was needed for proper flow.

In addition we discovered a pre-existing issue with a roof bird-stop which caused rain to leak between the facia and the gutter and on to the patio. I will need to pay for the repair myself since the issue is pre-existing, however I should have included in the contract that any pre-existing issue that could potentially adversely affect the project be brought to my attention. If the patio installers had recognized the potential issue and brought it up we could have fixed it then.

I gave Sunset 3 stars because of the issues described above. I realize I should have included specific details and protections in the contract so some of this on me. I would recommend Sunset to others with the caveat that you include all the details in the contract and stipulate that you be consulted when a deviation is needed. Greg is easy to work with and his workers are professional. All in all the new patio looks beautiful.

We had a beautiful Alumawood pergola built as well as a cement patio and rock work. The flagstone pillars are absolutely gorgeous! Greg Perger has great attention to detail and has quality craftspeople working with him. Everyone was very professional and we were kept informed thru all phases of construction.

Greg was great and has a lot of experience. We are absolutely happy and thrilled with the project he completed for us. I would recommend Greg to anyone.

The only issue I had was the place he recommended to get all the hardware and BBQ. I would recommend doing own research on personal taste items.

The time working with him was real short but very sweet. From start to finish, my husband and I were super pleased and ecstatic to have had contact with him and to work with Greg. We tried contacting a couple other companies prior to Sunset Construction but had absolutely no luck, we hesitated a bit to waste another minute calling SC because we didn’t expect to get an answer or response. But third time was a real charm. He answered right away and even better, began work right away (the very next day!).

My husband and I are absolutely 100% without a doubt mind blown and down right ecstatic to have had the pleasure to work with Greg and his company.

The work that had to be done in our yard to make our home an absolute pleasure to spend time at, was just out of this world. The job was done in less than two days! I didn’t expect it to be done so fast but it sure did blow my hair back.

Now we can have a life time of memorable moments in every area of our home, inside and out. No more dealing with mud and dirt. Our yard turned out better than I imagined. We can’t wait to start decorating our outdoor area for a life time of moments, I’m sure our dogs will definitely appreciate it as well cuz they won’t be surrounded by dirt and mud either. I could keep going on with all the good comments but all I can say is that, if you’re looking for a fast, professional job and result, someone that is detailed and a delight to work with. Greg and his crew does outstanding work. Greg came out to my property multiple times and worked within my budget constraints. His vision is really outstanding. All I really wanted was plain concrete pad. Not only did he show me what we could do but it came out cheaper than I anticipated. The end result is a beautiful pad with flowing walkways and stamped concrete.

From start to finish, our experience with Sunset Construction was excellent. At our first meeting we reviewed all of our wants & needs with Greg and he transformed our ideas to an absolutely beautiful custom backyard living space. He was onsite every day and his subcontractors performed excellent work. Our timeline was right on schedule, performed exactly to our contract and truly delivered more than we ever expected. He kept in contact, sometimes hourly, regarding what was occurring at our house each day. I am thankful we had him to oversee everything (built in bbq, built in bar, seating walls, fireplace, fire/water feature & pergola w/ lighting and fan). I would recommend him to all our friends and family. Our backyard is truly an oasis that we look forward to enjoying everyday.

We just had Greg Perger redo our stairs and add curbing in our front yard. While talking with Greg, he suggested that we may want to add some curbing to the front also so he designed both the curbing and front stairs. Both came out looking great. His employees, Felix and Jose, did a beautiful job. They paid attention to details and made design suggestions that added to the finished product. They also cleaned up when they were done. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to family and friends.

For years my husband and I had envisioned an outdoor entertaining area for our yard. We wanted a covered patio, outdoor island with grill equipment, and a fire pit. we had reached out to Greg at sunset for a concrete project during a pool renovation and were blown away by his costumer service. His ideas actually helped the pool company complete their project with us. I promised him that when we were ready for phase 2 and 3 of our yard renovation he would be the first to know. Not only is he reliable, his vision and suggestions are top notch. It is clear he is an expert in his trade. He educated us on where to build, how the sun and the wind would impact our space, sketched out our entire design ,and help us make it a reality. His crew worked endlessly to construct the most beautiful covered patio which now houses an amazing bbq island with all the finer details like lighting and stonework. I was almost sad when the job was complete and quickly started thinking of other ways he could improve other parts of our yard. His photos speak for themselves. He definitely provides quality. Thank you so much sunset construction. This project came at the most important time for us and has been a real treat.

We had pictures and a plan of a backyard patio we wanted to construct. We were referred to Sunset Construction. The owner, Greg, came to our home and carefully listened to our ideas. He showed us impressive pictures and images of work he had already done. He then went outside, took measurements and returned to make suggestions on how this would all be accomplished. We sat together at my kitchen table while he drew out a revised plan.
I thought I wanted an outdoor fireplace and separate water feature. Greg showed us a design and pictures of a feature that would combine both elements thus, saving us money and valuable space. I knew at that moment Sunset Construction was the right company for the job.
Work began immediately. A trench had to be dug for a gas line to the meter. Concrete people were brought out to go over the plan. An electrician was instructed on how all the wiring for a fan and lights were to be placed. Footings were dug for the awning we wanted and steel posts were set in place. All this happened so quickly I would have been terrified if it were not for Greg being there, on the job, insuring everything went according to plan.
The end result is fantastic! I now have the patio of my dreams. The concrete with integrated color and a beautiful stamped ribbon, a fire and water feature with a ponding basin surrounded by a stone veneered seat wall, a wonderful freestanding pavilion with columns set on stone veneered bases…I am breathless. Thank you Greg, Sunset Construction has my highest recommendation.

My new pergola patio cover is amazing, both in aesthetics and function. Greg was very accommodating and insightful in working with my wife and me to create a design within our budget. A licensed contractor, he and his crew are experienced installers and they are very pleasant people as well.
