Just wanted to share my enthusiastic 5-star review for Dane and his CBD Concrete company. They installed a 20 foot by 20 foot concrete patio outside our back door and everything went smoothly.

During Dane's first visit, he listened to what we wanted and gave us a few options and we went with his recommendation which turned out great. We had a few other contractors come out and they were either on the phone the entire time or just said they would "take care of us" if we agreed to their bid price whereas Dane actually listened to us.

Dane quickly provided his bid which was extremely competitive and provided us with weekly updates as we had to wait several weeks for the city to approve the permit.

Once the permit was approved, Dane said they would arrive between 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. on the agreed upon date and Dane showed up right at 8:00 a.m. and we quickly confirmed what was going to happen that day to make sure we were on the same page. Dane and his crew quickly and efficiently completed everything. You can also tell they made every effort to keep the work area as clean and neat as possible. They also let us put in our son's handprint in a corner of the patio which was a nice touch.

During the entire process, from the initial visit, to the actual date of the project, Dane was always extremely quick to respond to e-mails. Dane is very friendly and personable and really tries to make sure you as the customer are completely satisfied with his work.

If you are looking for a concrete company that is fairly priced, very reliable, and will do a great job, CBD is the company to contact. I'm attaching a few "before" and "after" pictures.

Dane, the owner, was very personable, knowledgeable, and patient in answering our questions on having our driveway taken out and replaced. We were also pleased with his quote.
On the scheduled day, he arrived with his crew on time, the work was completed in his estimated time frame, and the crew cleaned up afterwards.

Dane and his CBD Crew, replace a portion of my driveway. The driveway was damaged due to tree roots that expanded and cracked the concrete. They removed the damaged concrete and dug up the tree roots and replaced the concrete. They did an excellent job, finishing and cleaning up the project. I also had them caulk/seal all the joints in the driveway. The project turned out great. I certainly recommend using CBD!

We recently had our driveway replaced and chose CBD Concrete to do the job. Their price was far below all of the other estimates we received and their work was top notch. Owner Dane Maraki was very easy to work with and he was hands on every step of the project. I highly recommend you don’t chose a concrete contractor until you have Dane review your project and provide you with an estimate.

Dane was easy to work with. I had several, 5-6 bids, on a small job, a backyard patio. Danes bid was very fair. He was by far the most knowledgeable about tedious local codes. I felt that was important so you don’t get in trouble down the road with code enforcement. His crew did quality work and cleaned up well after the job. I wouldn’t hesitate to use again for future projects.

Dane and his team did an outstanding job re‑pouring and expanding our driveway and back patio. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. Dane was friendly, extremely patient, and easy to communicate with. His crew was professional, polite, and hardworking. His pricing was the most reasonable compared to other quotes we received, and after meeting Dane and reading the reviews, we knew he was the right choice. We are 100% satisfied with the results and highly recommend Dane and his team.

Attempted to do business with this company, but was met with nothing but rude attitude, and it was clearly made a point by Mr. Price that it was a privilege to contract his company. I have never, ever, been treated so rudely by any company before, just for a simple over-the-phone scheduling call. I will be recommending to everyone to never use this company.

Tony at Ultimate Surfaces provided a quotation April 17th.
On June 20th I asked for confirmation that the job could be scheduled in July. I was told that was not possible. When I responded that IF they could not schedule the job after 3 months, I would have to cancel the order.
THE RESPONSE IS THAT I WAS DOING HIM A FAVOR.. If you need the job done , you should look elsewhere.

Absolutely one of the best and most dependable contractors on the First Coast. Tony was extremely accommodating. Art, who was the lead for th e team is an ARTist. Great work at affordable rates.

Tony delivered!!! Beautiful job. Did everything he said he would. His crew was courteous and professional. The job site and pool were clean when they finished. Really pleased with the workmanship!!!!

Tony and his crew did my sunroom flooring and a slab outside 3 months ago and did a fabulous job! I just had them do my driveway and couldn't be any happier! Mike, Walter and Phil did an outstanding job! They have given my front yard such a great curb appeal. They went way beyond my expectations!!! Very professional and accommodating! Tony Price and his crew were exceptional! We had our pool, pool deck and walkways redone. Tony did the pool deck and walkways. His company did an outstanding job. He does not do pools so we used a different company for the pool. This different company subs out the actual pool refinish to Temp Pools who made a mess and damaged a small area on the deck. The pool company said they put in a complaint ticket with Temp Pools but they couldn't promise us a date/time they would rectify the issue. My husband called Tony, who came out to look at it. He told us that he would send his guys to take care of it. He kept his word. He repaired the damage, did another top coat over the entire area and made it look brand new. He did all this at NO CHARGE and he didn't have to. He is a business man that stands behind his company. We highly recommend him and his company.

Tony and his entire crew were nothing short of fantastic! They were kind, respectful, always came on time and just were very hard workers. Tony himself is a kind, honest and caring man who was present and very involved in what was going on during the project. Prices were very, very fair. We looked at a lot of companies to do this job and he was by far the most knowledgeable, kind and professional. I cannot recommend highly enough!

Tony and his crew were great! Started when they said they would and finished when they said they would. Quality of work was outstanding. Tony and his crew also were very kind and their clean up after the job was spot on. I highly recommend if your in need of a face lift for your pool deck.

My pool is over 40 years old and the kool deck and patio had many cracks and settling problems. Tony and his men did a fantastic job and we are absolutely so pleased with how they made it look like a brand new deck. I would highly recommend them for any resurfacing issues you may need.

I am not easily impressed but the resurfacing they did around my pool and lanai made our home look new. Other contractors said I would need to completely replace the cracking concrete. Their system not only hides the cracks completely but provides an easy fix if one comes back in the future. Tony and his crew are very professional to deal with and I am completely satisfied and highly recommend them for any concrete refinishing.

Ultimate Surfaces recently resurfaced my pool deck. They were very careful to protect everything. They also cleaned the brick border and painted my cement planters. The employees were very professional and courteous. The pool deck is now absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend Ultimate Surfaces. Tony Price is great to work with. Before and after photos.
