Extremely happy with how our basement floor turned out. In 2 days the floor went from being covered in carpet glue to a high end polished concrete.

In all stages of the job CreteStar did exactly what they said they were going to do. They were on time, professional and fair on pricing. The team worked well together and were careful with our walls and with dust control. They also filled several longstanding cracks in the foundation.

I had our garage floor installed about a year ago prior to moving in our new home. The whole process was easy, installed on time, and looks great. The garage looks cleaner and brighter, and is easily cleaned if needed.

We recently had some new plumbing added to our building which left a light grey concrete strip down the middle of the floor. From the first phone call to the day of the floor application CreteStar made me feel like a valued client! I love how they matched the spot in the floor to the rest of the room. 10/10 would recommend them!

We hate to leave this review, but the company will not respond to our calls, texts, or emails. We paid tens of thousands of dollars for a floor for a commercial building, and we were told it would be easy to clean and smooth. Unfortunately, that is not the case at all. It is very obvious when you look at the floor that there are areas that are missing the top coat, and those areas hold on to dirt like crazy. We tried a powerwasher even, and it did not get the grime out. We actually have to hand scrub the floor with scrubbing bubbles and scrub brushes on our hands and knees to get it clean. We paid a lot of money for this floor and their service. The product is not at all what we wanted nor what we were promised. They state they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee and in our experience, that is not the case at all. The last time we got to speak with the representative from CreteStar he told us he'd get back with us and has not and it has been 3+ months since then. He also has told us that the problem is the floor cleaner we are using, but, there is an entire room in our facility that is the MOST trafficked, and has the MOST debris, and it does NOT have this issue. We use the same cleaner and by all rights, that room should look the worst. But it doesn't, it's easy to clean - and it clearly has the shiny top coat on it that is missing all over the place in the other rooms. We are asking that the company fixes it by sealing the entire floor appropriately, but they will not get back to us. Our floor looks nothing like the ones in all of their pictures. We've been believing they'd fix it since the beginning because they said they would, but now it's clear that they do not stand behind their word. It also already chipped, after about 4 months of use in one area. Using this company was the worst decision made during our build process.

My wife and I made a big mistake choosing CreteStar to install flooring in a commercial building. Her review is from a few months ago and can be seen here too. She was generous and gave 2 stars. I am giving only 1 because, despite the way in which the owner replied just now to her review, they actually have NOT fixed our problems and we are extremely unsatisfied with the floors. I am adding some pictures that we took today. The floors are impossible to keep clean because there are areas that are not shiny/are missing some type of top coat. The areas that aren’t shiny are extremely rough and in some places, the flake even can be found coming up on our shoes. So now, instead of just having a terrible experience with their accountability, and a horrible yet EXTREMELY expensive epoxy floor - we can also see that they have no problem lying to try to make themselves look better on google. The person who leaves a review cannot respond to the company’s reply, so here I am to tell the truth. We have since crossed paths with another local small business who has a floor done by CreteStar that is even worse than ours - it is literally peeling right up in every room and hallway in their building! We are not “1 star review” kind of people, but we’ve been left with no choice as they will not fix their mistakes. Please keep in mind these pics are just a very few, and don’t even come close to being fully representative of the issues! I will even go so far as to remove my review if they would fix the issues that they created!! If you’re looking for a company and you’ve read this, please don’t spend your hard earned money with CreteStar.

If I could give more than five stars, I would—CreteStar is absolutely top-tier. From start to finish, their work, professionalism, and attention to detail were next level.

Ian, who headed up our project, was truly phenomenal. It’s rare to find someone who cares this much about the final result. He didn’t just do the job and disappear—he came back several days in a row to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. He listened, adjusted, and went above and beyond to make sure we were 100% satisfied. That kind of dedication is honestly hard to find these days.

The quality of the concrete work is excellent, the communication was clear and honest, and the whole team was professional and respectful. You can tell CreteStar takes real pride in their work and in their reputation. I am extremely disappointed with my experience.

Approximately two years ago, I had epoxy flooring installed in my new commercial space. Within two weeks of installation, the floors began bubbling and peeling. I promptly contacted the company as well as my contractor to address the issue. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the problem, I was told the only option was to have the floors redone at a “discounted” rate rather than having the defective installation corrected.

As a business owner, this has had significant consequences. I have been forced to shut down rooms due to the unsafe flooring, resulting in lost revenue. Additionally, we had a client trip over the areas where the floor had peeled up — a situation that should never have occurred had the installation been done properly.

I understand that issues can arise in construction projects, but what matters most is how a company stands behind its work. In this case, I did not feel that responsibility was taken or that a fair resolution was offered.

I hope this review encourages better quality control and accountability moving forward.
