Upul is great--I hired him to install a new heat pump for our house that was on an oil boiler. Not only was he half as expensive as the quote we got from another company, but my wife like the aesthetics of his plan a lot better. We went with him on the install, and he also helped us make sure we got the documentation we needed for the CT rebate, which cut the final cost of the install by about 25%.

Additionally, when another contractor we hired spiked the refrigerant pipe for our heat pump several months later, he was quick to come and check things out. He not only fixed the broken pipe without having to damage much of our house, but also helped provide the evidence we needed to get an insurance claim made.

We plan to replace our end-of-life oil boiler soon, and I plan to call in Green Mechanicals for the job. Highly recommend.

I have used Green twice in the past 3 years for central AC issues and maintenance. They will be my annual maintenance provider from here on out. If you call most ac maintenance companies in the summer, you get an answering service and most likely no call back until the next day. This is especially true on weekends. On both occasions where I needed AC service fast, on the weekend and when it was incredibly hot, Upal personally picked up the phone and was able to help me on the same day, within 3 hours. Upal is friendly, respectful of the property and incredibly knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem on both occasions shortly after arriving. He even checked in the next day to make sure that everything was still working properly. I've worked with many ac companies but Upal and green mechanical is the best. His prices are competitive and fair and the customer service can't be beat.

We first used Green Mechanicals when our AC needed maintenance. The owner, Upul, is very honest and responsive and didn't try to get us to buy a new system when we didn't need it. He got it up and running again perfectly.
So when we had heating problems we didn't hesitate to call them. Turns out we needed to replace our gas boiler, he gave us a price and he stuck to that. They did excellent work with a high quality boiler and parts (they had to replace the pipe connections). The workers are professional and friendly and cleaned up the space better than they way they found it. Upul is an honest business man that is very knowledgeable about all heating and AC issues and we highly recommend this company with very fair pricing. We will definitely call them for any issues we have.

Our AC wasn't working and kept flipping our breaker. We called Bruno and Campesi and we were robbed of $200. They didn't even try to find the problem and just told us we needed a new AC system for $15,000. I called Green Mechanicals and Upul was amazing. We didn't need a new system, we just needed a new breaker, the condenser coils needed a good cleaning, and we put in a booster. Upul also upgraded another part of our condenser for free. He was so helpful in not just saving us thousands of dollars, but also helped us fight the $200 we payed for a job not done by Bruno and Campsesi. We can't thank him enough for an amazing job! I highly recommend Upul and Green Mechanicals for any AC concerns and maintenance. I will only call them from now on!

Our A/C died on the hottest day of the year (of course), and with two littles I called at 7am just hoping someone would answer and they did! All I needed was to text my address, and then I got a message that someone would be here by 8:30 AM He actually showed up at 8:20! was super nice, knew exactly what he was doing, and had everything working again fast. The price was way better than I expected. Honestly, just really impressed. Fast, friendly, and didn’t try to upsell anything. 10/10 would call again!

My AC broke down on a weekend during this heat wave. After calling and not getting any response from the contractor that I normally use, I called Green Mechanical, whom I found Googling. Upul measured up to the excellent reviews I saw, he came on a Sunday, diagnosed the issue, got the unit running temporarily and ordered a replacement part that he installed a couple of days later. He is excellent. Very knowledgeable, responsive and respectful. He will be my go to guy going forward.

I used his company 6 months ago for a service, and called him back 6 months later expecting to have to reintroduce myself and the HVAC situation in my home, but he knew exactly who I was and what the situation was which I greatly appreciated. My rheem gas boiler c wicked from bottom seam overnight. Tanks bottom seam cracked from over heat (don’t over heat old boilers), it flooded my basement on 17deg f.
Called 9 places on 12/17 (during ice storm in Fairfield county) all booked 2 to 5 days. Upul and Jacob came in middle of a job and I told them I have to get it done today . Came down after job and then installed ao Smith boiler and were done by 8pm. Tdiscarded the old unit as well. Faster then 24/7 emergency service.
Call upul for boiler / heater / furnace/ plumbing , get a quote it doesn’t hurt to get an additional opinion .. I can vouch for their honest, reliable and cost , by the way they were cheapest out of all 9 mechanical installers.

A very pleasant experience with Upul and team during what otherwise was a stressful period. Ida flooded our crawl space and pretty much destroyed everything below. A significant project to replace HVAC equipment; clean, dry, sanitize, and rewrap ducts; and redo electrical.
I solicited several bids and received different quotes and professional opinions. Upul's estimate was somewhere in the middle of the pack (apples to apples). I decided to go with Upul for several reasons and it turned out to be a great decision. He was very engaged and communicative, transparent on choice of equipment and parts (which was consistent with my own research), fair on price, and delivered within the deadlines that we'd agreed.
We have since operated both AC and heating with no hiccups. Works as it should and much quieter and efficient than our old system. Also, I had someone in the field over for an unrelated matter, he inspected the install and praised Upul's work.
Happy with how this turned out and I plan to use Upul for other projects!!

These guys are great and the quality of their work is fantastic. I recently moved into a new home and the furnace started to have issues. They came over on very short notice and - long story short - they were able to get me up and running with a brand new furnace at a really great price within a day. I'm now enjoying a 96% efficiency furnace with peace of mind as we go into the final months of winter.

Upul was competitive with pricing and very knowledgeable. He sticks with his appointments . Installer did a fantastic job with integration of new equipment with the old. Most HVAC are the same but the installers make the difference. Upul came out on Sunday when my family did not have heat to repair something some other HVAC company installed. So when sears fails you Upul and his company is always a good contact to have.

One of the hotest weeks of the summer my regular HVAC maintenance contractor came out to do a PM on my unit and found that the compressor was grounded. As a result I needed to get estimates for a new compressor, as well as, a new air handler, due to age and incompatibility.

I received 4 estimates and Upul's was the most fair and was able to install it most quickly. He and his team Anthony and Jacho were professional, offered solutions to the set up in the small closet where my air handler lives, closed up holes and left inside and outside spotless.

The Rudd compressor, Rudd air handler and Honeywell wifi thermostat are working great after a little over a month. I expect when I need to put the heat on, it will work just as well.
