Top notch installation of new A/C (air handler and compressor). Upul is very responsive with estimates, information, questions. The installers were great... on time, high quality installation, respectful, clean. They worked for 9 hours on a 90 degree day, including much of that time in the hotter attic to install the new air handler. I definitely recommend Green Mechancials.

I am a restaurant manager in Greenwich. We had our AC break today and upon arriving Upul knew exactly what was wrong. Although, he fixed the original issue he noticed another issue with the unit which required roof access which I could not get at the time. Upul was very friendly and knew exactly what the issue was. Very nice guy and doesn’t kill you on the price. Does not seem like the kind of guy that would sell or fix something you didn’t need. I liked Upul so much that we will be using Green Mechanicals for all our HVAC needs from now on. I recommend you do as well!

I worked w/ Green Mechanicals in July of 2022 to replace a leaking combi-boiler system. I don't like to write reviews until at least 6months after the job to ensure everything is working properly and I'm happy to write that everything is working exactly as it should, and I'm very happy I went w/ Green Mechanicals.

After calling, Upul, the owner, showed up within a few hours, assessed the situation and provided me a detailed plan and reasonable quote. His guys, who were also very professional, showed up the next day and began work. They replaced my boiler in no time (1 day + a few hours the next day to finish up), cleaned everything up and left the space better than they found it.

I highly recommend Green Mechanicals for all your HVAC needs. I consider myself lucky having found an HVAC team that I can trust and rely on. Since the summer, I had one other small leak in the system (a part that they didn't install, but was part of the overall system), and they came back recently and fixed that too (all within 24 hours). Upul and his team were great to work with all around. They worked hard to make sure that the HVAC was up and running as quickly as possible after I was recovering from surgery earlier in the summer. Normally they would take 2 days, but they worked through a very long day to make sure that I could be comfortable while recovering. I was so glad I found Green Mechanicals thru a reference. Upul and his team are experts when it comes to Heating and cooling solutions . I needed an urgent replacement of my old oil furnaces which had a broken heat exchanger and was out of commission . After inspection Upul saw many other problems with HVAC .
On his recommendation we installed New propane Furnace, new dampers , AC coil along with other fixes .

One Sunday evening I woke up to a leaking boiler, I called several 24 hour repair companies but no one was available on Sunday evening. Since this was an emergency I need someone asap since my basement was flooding. I stumbled on to Green Mechanicals who was available to assist. Upul arrived within 30mins, temporary stop the leak and did an assessment. His guys (Eirc and sorry I didn't get the other guys name) showed up the next day at 7am and started working. Since this was a very old system, I thought a replacement might be needed, but they were able to get it back online. After the job was done, they cleaned up and left the area better than they found it. They did excellent work, I'm glad I went with the guys form Green Mechanicals.

Also, I had previously used Green Mechanicals when my central air unit crashed in the middle of summer. They came out right away and got to work; repairs were made and everything has been working great since. I plan to update my central air and boiler units and I will definitely go with these guys. Upul did a great job fixing our AC in the middle of summer (90+). Showed up at my house in 15 minutes (others quoted 2 weeks minimum) of the call to diagnose the problem and came back a day later to fix gas leak and return duct issue. He was always available on the phone if I had any questions. I would definitely recommend green mechanicals for their expertise, customer satisfaction and reliability.

Upul is very experienced with AC systems, very technical when diagnosing the problem. He troubleshoot and fixed the AC problem that my tenant has been complaining about, without breaking my bank account. He is also a candid and fun guy to chat with. I'm happy with hiring him for the job.

My furnace started to malfunction and given the age needed to be replaced. Upul came out the next day to diagnose the issue. His quote was fair and the work was done very quickly and efficiently. His team worked all day and was professional and courteous. They left the area very clean. I will use them again.

Upul and his crew were above and beyond. Upul was available several times same day within an hour or two as our AC system kept breaking. Finally we replaced it with Bosch heat pump units. Much more efficient and bills are lower. The install was done quickly and neatly. No nonsense. Price was about 4K less than other quotes I got. But most importantly is how Upul stands by his work and addresses any questions or issues very quickly. These are the guys you want for heating AC.

My AC condenser stopped working properly in June. It was old and I knew it probably needed replacing - but I wanted to see if somebody could keep it running a while longer.
I called Green Mechanicals and Upul said he was busy, but that he could stop by the next day after he was done with his other jobs to do an AC Diagnostic.
He did stop by late in the day and spent about an hour trying to get it running. Unfortunately nothing worked, and it did confirm that the AC unit did need to be replaced.
I paid him the $150 diagnostic fee via Zelle before he left my house. He said he would send me a price quote to replace the AC unit within a couple of days.
That was June 15th...I'm STILL waiting for the quote!
I guess he was too busy to do replace my AC unit...but not too busy to make a quick $150 doing the diagnostic.

Working with Green Mechanicals was a pleasure. From my first contact with Upul he was friendly, responsive, and flexible to our needs. Paul and his team installed a large air condition system in my home about 4 zones. They did an excellent job. My home is large and old and complicated and I was so pleased with their work. We have used Green Mountain several times always with the same excellent results. Yesterday our A/C unit outside started making a loud rumbling noise and then stopped working - an hour before we were suppose to go away for the weekend. We called Upul and he was able to send technicians to us within hours, despite the fact that we had no appt. and it was the middle of a heat wave. They were able to get everything going and do some maintenance too. It was above and beyond. Whenever we have contacted Upul he responds immediately and figures out a way to solve our problem.
