Matt has been my technician four times as we worked through several plumbing issues. He knowledgeable, personable, communicative and thorough. I've found Harp to be especially responsive when I need promptness like when my central air conked on the first really hit day if the spring a couple of years ago. I had working central a/c the following day. I highly recommend their service.

Had a leaking shower faucet, the technician didn't have the correct part but left to go to plumbing supply to get part, came back and fixed my problem. He was very efficient, professional and kind. Did not have to wait long for Harp to make original appointment. Very respectful of property. I would recommend this company and the technician who did my repair in a timely manner.

I had a great experience with Michael when he came out to service my boiler. He's very thorough and very helpful. One of the most honest people I've met in a long time. That is of the utmost importance when looking for help with my new home. I will trust harp and again Michael with all my service needs thank you harp and thank you Michael

What's nice is that I had a good 1st time experience with Mat, changing my very old kitchen sink faucets. Mat put the new faucets in and it has been great. Now this time, Mat had explained what he was about to do and if it worked I would be good to go. But he also told me if he could not unplug the toilet. Then I would have to hire a rooter company to handle my problem. Mat puts everything that I need to know on the table. No empty promises. No monetary surprisses. That's what I like about him and Harp. Both jobs (thank goodness) were not so bad. I will call Harp again when in need.
Thank you Audrey -
I had to come edit my review. THE INSTALLATION MANAGEMENT
TEAM IS TERRIBLE. I had a new central air unit installed the end of June it worked good for less than a week. My tenant started to notice leaking from the unit Leaksge on the floor then dripping from a vent inside. Maintenance came out July 3rd. He specified it was an installation issue, however he did what he could to adjust it. The unit is leaking all over the floor causing damage. I put a bowl down to catch some of the drippings. However, that isn’t working for where the leaking is coming from. The unit outside is exposed to leakage as well water all around the unit. I’ve been trying to reach the installation manager and team since 7/8 with constant calls and emails from myself and other sources with no call back nor help. They sent out another maintenance tech 7/14, why would they do that as they’ve already been notified that it is an installation issue. However, Jeffrey was very informative and helpful and clearly said just like Charles that it’s an installation issue. Unit still leaking and ruining my property. I had high hopes for Harp, as this isn’t my first install service. If there was a zero stars for them they would get it as far as INSTALLATION/MANAGEMENT. It’s sad that the actual ppl that come out to do the jobs HAVE TO DEAL WITH INCOMPETENT MANAGEMENT. My issue still hasn’t been resolved it’s now 7/16
Charles was very nice, helpful & resourceful. He answered all my question & explained everything that I asked in regards to my central air unit, as he did the maintenance. I watched him do his maintenance 👍🏽👍🏽 -
On October 16, 2025, I had a Service Tech come to my house to evaluate the problem with my exisiting heating unit (which is approximately 20 y/o). The ServiceTech's name is Jeffery Negron. Jeffery showed up on time with tools in hand to evaluate the operational problems with my House Furnace. Jeffery was professional, knowledgeable., thorough, personable, well spoken and a pleasure. Jeffery, methodically went step by step to identify and explain the operational condition of each major component/system with regards to it's current conditon and functionality. Jeffery's attitude and honesty was a breath of fresh air. We discussed the total system and my options. The Bottom Line is, when Jeffery was done, I had a Total Understanding of the issues with my Heating System and at that point I was willing to take the next step, which was to consider repair or replace my unit. In my Opinion Jeffery is a Credit to the Harp Team and I'm looking forward to moving ahead with HarpHomeServices. Thanks, Ed DiLuigi

What has happened at Harp Mechanical? I've been a customer for 20 years and we've gone from great service to a cluster.
When you have a service plan to do a furnace tune up before winter, set up the appointment and they call you a few days in advance to say they have to cancel but can get you another after winter, that's not a real solution.
Then, you ask to speak to a manager who they say will call & no one does.
Maybe it's too much growth or too much private equity money but it's not the same HARP. It's very sad to see as the technicians are great people - it's a management problem. Hopefully they get it figure out but apparently we need to find a new provider. -
HARP came to our aid after being without heat and hot water for 3 days when our other company that was supposed to come tried to reschedule for 8 days later. They sent out Ryan just the day after our call. He quickly figured out what was wrong as well as he could explain it in a way we could follow.
Once it was diagnosed he fixed it fast, and communicated that if any issues happened to instantly call back and they would be back. This was very reassuring to us as prior company has left us hanging on multiple occasions including this last time.
I also really liked the little tracking thingie too where I could see how far out Ryan was as well as we got a photo and name as a heads up which was very reassuring as well.
Thank you Ryan and HARP I will so enjoy my hot shower tonight. -
While this company may have technicians that can quickly come out and address your problem, all they are, are a money hungry company trying every way to take your money and I should have recognized that when I was making the appointment for HVAC services and the customer service woman then asked if I had any other problems like electrical, plumbing or a leak that needed addressing. Then after I spent $400 for them to fix my furnace, they told me it was producing carbon monoxide and unsafe to operate, however they could get someone out there to give me a free quote on a new one. The technician immediately got someone on the phone and had me schedule someone to come out that same day. All I was looking for was a quote on a new furnace. The salesman was there for an hour and a half and gave me a power point presentation on how great they are as a company and better than any other company in CT. Then at the end he gives me 3 different estimates. I asked if he could email them to me and he said no, he can’t email estimates, he can only email me a contract to sign. When I told him I had to think about it and discuss with someone, he was very pushy. He wanted me to get that person on the phone right there and kept asking questions and why I had to think about it. Trying every which way for me to sign right there. He said no one else will do as good of a job as they will and getting any other furnace other than the one they provide will only last a couple of years. I spent about ten plus minutes telling this guy no. They aren’t anything other than a SALES company. They’re as bad if not worse than car salesmen. All of that turned me off and I will never use them again.

Harp Home Services has been extremely dishonest. They promised a no‑cost estimate, then tried to charge me $89 when I chose another company. Their customer service even said, “nobody works for free,” contradicting their own promise.
A manager later called with an arrogant tone, insisting that even if they promise a free estimate, they will still charge $89 if you don’t hire them. He then demanded I remove my review first before they would cancel the charge—acting as if I should be grateful. This behavior was unacceptable.
Their pricing is also unreasonable: they quoted over $800 to replace an expansion tank, while another company completed the job for under $200, parts included.
To make things worse, they mailed me an invoice with a forged signature, which I’m keeping as evidence and consulting a lawyer about.
In my case, the promised free estimate did not remain free, so I would encourage others to confirm the policy carefully before allowing a technician to come. -
John was amazing at teaching Danny, who was very open learning. The attention to detail, explanation of the process and work was outstanding. The guys were here until 8pm, and stayed until everything was working properly.I will be switching my service to Harp as soon as my current contract is up.

Courtney was very professional and knowledgeable on the boiler in our home. He was able to determine the cause after I explained what the symptoms were and what had been done to attempt in troubleshooting it. He had our boiler working in less than an hour and we had hot water within 90 minutes. Very happy with this very polite and well spoken technician. I will be sure to ask for him to service our home again next fall.

Had an old leaky hot water heater and got a replacement this morning. Both the visit yesterday and the install today went smoothly and everything looks great. Luis and partner were very kind and prompt- really couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend.

I got this boiler a couple of years ago, and it works fine, just as it should.
However, the financing is awful. There’s no upfront cost, but if you look closely, you end up paying the loan for about ten years. It’s not a good deal.
And the maintenance scheduling is even worse. You can’t rely on it at all. We scheduled maintenance for December 9th, and today I got a call saying, “Sorry, we have too many emergency calls, so we can’t do the service. We have to reschedule for August 17th, 2026.”
I was like… what??
If you want reliable customer service, I do not recommend this company. -
Very pleased with the Harp's price, service and professionalism of the technicians. Received a more than reasonable estimate at 8:00 am, and they started work immediately and had hot water by the afternoon. Highly recommended.

During the coldest days my pets and I woke up to no heat. HARP was able to get me in relatively quick! Lenny came to the rescue and was very friendly. He quickly and accurately identified the issue! We were warm in no time!

Mizan and Jonathan were amazing!! Came to my home after I had been without heat for 3 days. This was after another company came and "fixed" my problem. These gentleman were kind and thorough. They were able to diagnose the true source of my lack of heat. Since the job required parts they didn't have on the truck, the guys agreed to return the next morning to complete the work. This was unusual for a couple of reasons. 1. When a technician cannot complete a job a customer must call the scheduler to arrange a time for the work to be done. 2. Mizan agreed to come back to my home to complete the work the next morning so I didn't have to wait for the next available technician. He chose to do so even though he was not scheduled to work that day. Such kindness really matters. Along with this, Jonathan took extra care to educate me on my particular system and what it needs to remain efficient. Finally, on top of restoring my heat, the guys took the time to fix incorrectly installed parts done by previous technicians. Thanks so much guys. We're all toasty again!!

Eric was very thorough performing the annual service on our boiler. He explained things he was doing and answered all my questions. There is an issue needing to be resolved having to do with the initial installation of the boiler by HARP. One of the valves to isolate/flush the DHW heat exchanger is not correctly positioned preventing a flushing hose from being attached to it. This needs to be fixed in order to flush the DHW heat exchanger.
