My experience with index fence is overall ambivalent but leans negative. Index was on par with two other quotes we received, as such price was not a consideration. That said, I wonder if materials from the other contractors would have been better.

From initial consult to communications with the office, I give 4-5 stars. It’s always prompt and professional, my poor rating is quality of the actual build and materials.

On initial quote we were told the planks come prefinished from the factory and wouldn’t need treatment for 1-2 years, but within 6 months we had significant warping and cracking on a large portion of boards and several posts leaning. We were told it was because we didn’t treat with any stain or sealant.

Index came out and replaced everything that was warped and leaning, however it took 4 months and 3 visits from initial inquiry to final repair, delaying when we could then stain and seal everything. There are already several *newly replaced* boards warping and cracking so I have significant doubts that this fence will last even 5 years.

As for the build, the gates are always sagging (I’ve never seen an ‘A’ brace on a gate before and am not confident it offers the counter balance a cross brace does). There are random 2x4s attached to some posts, the gate construction doesn’t look professional with random fill and trim pieces, some boards are spaced inconsistently and do not maintain a straight line. Maybe it was just not the right material for a horizontal fence.

Overall I appreciate their service and willingness to come back (materials and construction are under warranty) but I really wasn’t expecting to have to, let alone multiple times in the span of the first year.

We first hired Miguel at Index Fence to build a fenced area for our dogs and the experience was amazing. Because of that experience we asked him to come back and do a terrace project. He delivered the same level of care, craftsmanship, and professionalism! We highly recommend Index Fence for any fence project!

I recently had a 6’ privacy fence installed by Index Fencing, and I couldn’t be happier! From start to finish, everything went super smoothly. The salesstaff were quick to respond, the permit process was handled for me, utilities were marked without a hitch, and the installation was right on schedule.

The crew that came out worked hard and managed to get the entire fence done in just one day. They even used the extra dirt from the post holes to grade my backyard before leaving — which was such a nice surprise!

Lepage Construction provided the best most reliable service I have experienced from skilled workers or independent contractors. The work they initially did for me was to reconstruct a chain-link fence and gate at my home. I hired (Chey) Lepage on the basis of the work he did for a neighbor. Their fence was solidly and professionally built and looked it. The fence and gate he made for me 5 years ago is still in daily use and has not shown any sign of wear and tear. After this experience when I had a roof leak, I knew who to call. Chey Lepage made necessary and timely repairs to my asphalt shingle roof over a year ago and those repairs have held up after numerous (Antelope Valley) windstorms and tropical storm Hilary. There have been no additional leaks at the site of the repairs that I can tell. All of our contacts have been friendly and business-like. I feel like I really received value for my money and I heartily recommend him to anyone who needs his services.

I have had several jobs completed by LePage Construction. Cheylen LePage was friendly and very easy to work with. He is diligent and precise. He has done two room additions and a barn conversion as well as the occasional small job. He does excellent work at a more than reasonable price. I highly recommend him!!!!

I had a great experience with this construction company. They installed my kitchen cabinets, doors, and beam with excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail. The team was professional, punctual, and kept the workspace clean throughout the project. Everything was completed on time and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them for quality construction work.

Charles was very helpful and totally fun to work with. Even went 30 mins beyond the closing time to let us view both the model homes.

Francis was fantastic despite the fact that I prolonged the process, she was patient with me throughout, even when she was unable to reach me by phone or email for time-sensitive matter.
Ryan stayed with me during the blue tape inspection and even afterward to answer questions and help fix any difficulties I had. Both made the procedure very enjoyable.

She was highly professional, transparent, and responsive throughout the process. No sugarcoating, just honest communication — and that’s exactly what you want when making such a big investment.

Francis kept us updated consistently, even sharing progress photos during construction, which gave us peace of mind. There was a situation where the driveway was poured during extreme cold and snow, but the Bloomfield team promptly replaced it later during warmer weather — no pushback, just proactive problem-solving.

When it came to the pre-closing walkthrough, Ryan stepped in and ensured all identified issues were taken care of efficiently. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction stood out.

One thing that really impressed me was their flexibility during construction. I requested a change in the media room wiring layout, which I had originally missed in the design. Francis didn’t hesitate to get it adjusted mid-construction, which was a huge relief.

Post move-in, I had two minor warranty concerns, and both were resolved promptly by the builder’s team without any hassle.

In terms of build quality, I’ve noticed that Bloomfield Homes in this area have held up impressively — especially during recent heavy winds and tornadoes, Bloomfield’s builds remained untouched.

Overall, the home buying experience was made smoother and more enjoyable because of Francis and Ryan’s support. If you’re looking to buy in this area, I highly recommend speaking with Francis.

Francis was amazing with the whole process and experience of purchasing our property from Bloomfield homes. She walked us through all the available home and plans and made sure to help us pick the one that suited our needs.
Ryan was patient and helpful through the blue tape process and got all the work done prior to closing (a tight deadline). All minor fixes that we noticed after closing were promptly taken care of. Both Francis and Ryan are very helpful throughout the process.
