I am very satisfied with 5 new basement windows that were installed today (June 30, 2025). The crew led by Joe Perto were on time, efficient & courteous. Although my house is 120 yrs old with an old foundation, the lead man, Joe, was careful to make sure the windows were secure and leakproof.
The only complaint I have is that the indoor cleanup could have been better.
I would not hesitate to recommend Window Source.

We just had 16 windows installed, done in under 4 hours! Bob and his crew were extremely efficient, everyone knew their individual roles during the entire installation, and they all combined to do a phenomenal job! We are completely satisfied with the whole process from Wayne coming to quote us to the end product. Highly recommend Window Source of RI.

From initial visit and measurements, to installation completion, all very professional. Very satisfied with work. Installation crew was timely, work done to specifications and clean up was thorough.

The crew that came Sal, Dylan and Jess were totally respectful, neat and cleaned up really well after they were done. The windows are beautiful and I would recommend Window Source highly. Very satisfied. Windows were cleaned before they left which saved me work. Owner came and checked up on progress of installation, which was great.

If you’re not interested in reading my whole review, I would summarize my experience by stating the window install from Window Source RI was unprofessional and sloppy. If you would like to understand why, please continue reading…

In the summer of 2020 I did a lot of research before selecting Window Source RI to replace by 6 basement hopper windows. Window Source RI had fantastic reviews and reasonable prices. They did not have the lowest price, but I assumed it was worth a bit more money to work with a reputable company with a long-established history and very positive online reviews. I am honestly shocked that the same company that installed my windows is associated with the near 5-star rating on Google. I wanted to share my experience so that others would be aware of the risk of a not so great experience.

The install team came in after completing multiple other jobs earlier in the day and were in a rush to get my job done and finish their day. They rushed the job and it showed. They broke 2 of the 6 windows during my install. 1 had broken glass and 1 had a broken frame (both from being dropped). Broken glass was left everywhere. Adhesive was left on the walls, floors, yard, washer, dryer, foundation, etc. The dryer vent in the window was misaligned and unusable. The dryer vent tube was broken and damaged beyond repair. I had to purchase a new dryer vent and repair their sloppy installation of the dryer vent. I also spent hours scrubbing the adhesive left all over my house.

I was told my 2 broken windows would be replaced within 1 week, but it ended up being about 8 weeks. The replacement windows went comparatively well. The windows were not damaged. A bit of a mess was left this time too, but not nearly as bad as the previous time. During the review of the install, I noted that 1 of the screens was missing (both most have actually been missing). They said they would add the screen on the way out. I went downstairs to check it out and realized the screen was still missing. The screen on the other replaced window must have been added, but the window I originally noted as missing had not. I ran upstairs to see if they were still outside in their truck. They had left but I saw them driving down the road a few houses down. I called them about the screen and they said they would turn right back around. After waiting outside in the cold for 15 minutes, I began to lose hope. I called the installer team member back and went straight to voicemail; I assume my number must have been blocked. I was already quite frustrated by all the shortcomings of the install, but lying to me about returning to my house was the “cherry on top” in terms of being completely unprofessional. I have no idea why you would tell a customer that you’re heading back to address an issue and then drive away. I called the owner and a screen was delivered to my house the following day.

As if the install issues weren’t bad enough, the quality of the windows is somewhat suspect. After a couple of months with the windows installed, I noticed dirt on the window sill. I expect the dirt ended up on the interior window sill as a result of dirt splashing up on the window during rain storms. I would expect that new windows would not allow dirt to come through. I’m not sure if this is inevitable with hopper windows or a function of poor manufacturing.

All in all, quite the disappointment. I would not recommend Window Source RI to anyone looking for a quality window installation.

My daughter's condo only has 2 windows and they needed to be replaced. Excellent company from the first phone call. Walked us through everything. Very supportive throughout the process. High quality product. 10/10 recommend.

Bob and his team just installed 17 windows for us today. They were very professional, and efficient. Our new windows look wonderful and they did a great job with cleaning up inside and out. They also took great care in working around our landscaping. We would recommend highly!

Wow! Just Wow!! I thought I was coming home to just a new “bow window,” but I was wrong. As soon as I pulled up to my house, I was startled by just how beautiful this window is! The craftsmanship, the quality, the beauty of it all, I was simply amazed! When I walked inside my house, I was even more surprised at just how beautiful this new bow window with the oak wood and finishes looked; simply gorgeous! My house looks “healthier” just by appearance, not only on the outside, but the inside too! Thank you Window Source RI, and especially the contractors, Joe P. and Freddy, who completed the job not only with perfection, but cleanliness, tidiness, and with great enthusiasm. Five Stars ⭐️ is not enough for how impressed and satisfied we are with our new bow window, Window Source RI! The sales Professional, Wayne, listened to what I wanted. He didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t ask for and pointed me to a product that met my needs. Quality 3 pane windows. Rich, (the owner) personal came to my house an measured all my windows. His son, Anthony, assisted with the installation and instruction on the windows and who to call if I had future issues. Joe and his team of installers installed all 34 windows. Ryan, Cappi, Freddy and Steven. These guys were nothing but professionals. Their attention to detail, knowledge and commitment to finishing the job right the first time is their motto. Kevin was part of the installation team and put all the finishing touches on the windows to make them perfect. Cleaned the window frames and chalked each window perfectly. Once complete, Rich personally inspected the job to ensure the product was delivered as promised. Very satisfied and great locally owned franchise. Couldn’t ask for anyone better.

Quality, price, service top notch. Anthony and Joe the two installers went the extra mile dealing with a framing issue which was the result of the home’s original contractor’s work. We lived 20 years with an badly fitted door that was a half inch off on one side leaking cold air. The installation of new door took time and skill and patience to solve the structural issue. Job well done!

I highly recommend Window source of RI

We live in an old Victorian house, that was in great need of our windows being replaced! Anthony, the owners son sold us on their windows, a great salesman, and took all our concerns in to consideration. 26 windows later and they look fantastic! The team was great, kind, professional and did the job right! They finished all the windows in 2 days. The owner Richard came and checked up on the work the first day and checked in with us to make sure everything was going to plan! In the time I've used contractors, this is the best experience that I have had. Great quality windows and a great price. Thank you to all the team; Joe, Freddy, Cappy, Kevin, Scott and Gamma; you all did a great job! Another thank you to Aleea from the office for staying in contact with me to help with obtaining the correct paperwork for my Mass save rebate. All is greatly appreciated!

We used the Window Source of RI to replace our casement windows. They provided us with an estimate through a virtual appointment. We decided to go with Window Source of RI because of the family type atmosphere we experienced. Their prices are very competitive. We had both the sales rep Wayne and the owner, Richard, come out and measure before our windows were ordered. We were told our windows wouldn't be in until late July early August, and to our surprise they were in early. We had our installation on July 1st. The crew was on time and professional. The area was kept very clean. We would highly recommend them.

I'm very happy with my new windows. Just like the TV commercial states .After you meet with the salesman Wayne, and agree on type of windows and cost .Then the owner Richard comes by and measures , and tells you what's next.Alina the office manager called more than once to let me know about scheduling, they actually came a month earlier than they said originally.
The day of install , 3 men arrived at 8 am, Met with the boss Bobby , went over everything, Gerardo and Freddy set up the cutting station in my driveway. They went to work , once I observed there work , I realized they were highly skilled in the window field, years of experience. I love the windows, especially the custom white capping , around them .I'm glad I chose them..

They were very professional. Gave us a good quote to have our windows done, the installers did a great job installing the windows and was able to answer any questions I need. I would recommend them to a friend anyday.

Second time using this company and both times had an excellent experience. Bob and crew installed 8 windows and were in and out with in 2.5 hours. I would recommend this company and this crew to anyone looking for windows

Professional yet Down to Earth. Bob and his Crew are Generations of skilled Craftsmen! My neighbors left for work and when they came home I had new windows...they never saw the crew....old windows out in 20 minutes..by 1130 the entire job was done. Quality work and Reasonable Pricing. We will use Bob for our sun room remodel!
