We had an insurance claim, and they replaced a whole section of our roof and made it look nearly perfect with the rest of the roof. They even had our composition roof type in stock, which was amazing because it’s 20 years old. They have also done a repair on our roof. They are also very quick. Sandra and her team at Hawaiian Built Roofing did an outstanding job from start to finish. Sandra took full control of coordinating every aspect of the project, including arranging and managing subcontractors when unexpected issues arose. They uncovered existing problems with the old roof and handled them quickly and efficiently. We added two skylights during the project, which required interior finish work beyond the original roofing bid, and Sandra stepped in to supervise that work as well, going well above and beyond what was required. We were out of town during the work, yet we never felt disconnected. She kept us fully informed with clear, daily updates and handled everything professionally and efficiently. After working with Hawaiian Built Roofing, I can confidently say this is one of the most trustworthy and professional roofing companies in the Boise / Treasure Valley area.
From the very first visit, Sandra and her team took a completely different approach than the other companies we spoke with. They performed a full roof and attic inspection, walked us through real photos of what they found, and explained how the roof, ventilation, insulation, and underlayment systems all work together — not just the shingles.
They truly honored their “apples-to-apples” guarantee by educating us on different systems and letting us choose what made sense for our home and our budget. We initially talked about higher-end options, but after reviewing everything in detail, we ended up choosing a CertainTeed 30-year shingle system with a full wrap of Thermal Shield underlayment — a decision that has turned out to be one of the best home upgrades we’ve ever made.
What impressed me most is that they were never about overselling. They were about building the right roofing system for our house.
I intentionally waited to write this review because I wanted real results.
After 12 months, I’m happy to say that we’ve saved over $1,200 on our energy bills, and the comfort in our home is dramatically better.

I ordered ten yards of fill dirt from taba machinery. Sounds like a fairly simple thing. But these guys went way beyond the call of duty. Most folks would have come and dumped the dirt and been gone. That would have been fine. But these guys crafted their work as it were a piece of art. I couldn't have been happier with their efforts, their attitude, and their desire to be of unique service.
