SMB performed smoke damage cleaning for us and were a pleasure to work with. Everyone we came into contact with went above and beyond what I would have expected.

Called and scheduled an appointment for an estimate. The estimate meeting went well but a week and a half latter no estimate and no return calls. If they call back I might change this but a week and a half for an estimate is about a week too long.

Worst experience of my life working with SMB after a house fire. Still having to make repairs to their mistakes and they were rude, non responsive to issues and will tell you oh that part is not covered by our work warranty. Do not use this company EVER!

If I could I’d give them 0 stars, they took over a year to finish a house fire. They claimed they did work they did not, and expected to get paid for it. Stole a few of the household goods. Came and “worked” for the day while I watched them on their phones taking 3 hours to pack a single box and then leave the box half full. Don’t waste your time, they argue and are extremely unprofessional.

They are restoring my Brothers home and are great to work with. They want to give you what you want and will do what they can to stay within the budget. The will also make recommendations for changes to help you stay within the budget to get what you want that not only makes sense but also will enhance the areas. So far I am very pleased with the results they have accomplished in the house and the many crews that are doing the work.

Neighbors large dead ash tree fell on our home in January while out of town. Insurance called SMB. Never saw the damage except in photos two days later. The clean up was impeccable; as well as, the repairs that came with a "lifetime warranty". A honest and respectful company and highly recommended.

Super good folks here, Jesse was absolutely phenomenal in helping my fiance and I after we had a tree fall through our home. She helped get everything buttoned up and squared away until it could be later repaired. She helped us feel at ease and helped us understand the process a little too. These folks are great, i would recommend them to anyone.

SMB was hired to fix some repairs through my insurance company upon fixing my roof the worker drop the ladder and broke my bathroom window after he told me he would be back later in the evening it took 3 days for him to come back which he didn't even fix the problem he just gave me more excuses. I am now waiting a week and a half for them to come fix the window and the rest of the repairs. Everytime I turn around they have more excuses.

This business is beyond horrible! I would leave them a 0 star rating if it was an option. They came to our house after wind/storm damage to our roof. They were not willing to work around our schedules and were very pushy. They gave us constant run around and never a direct answer to any of the issues. They cut a huge hole in our ceiling and did not clean up their mess. Whenever I spoke to their staff they were rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend them to anyone!

Never returned phone calls. Months with holes in my roof from tree, no calls back, when I did reach someone promises promises. Last straw called again it was MY fault because I never signed paperwork that was never given to me or mentioned in my months of calling. Nancy was wonderful, the bright light in a dismal experience. Google made me put 1 star.

Terrible experience with smb! They were hired through insurance for my roof siding and gutter. The sub contracted gutters look great, I wish I knew the company that did them. Smb on the other hand, had horrible communication never knew when they were going to show up (if they showed up). The workers were very bad at cleaning up after themselves. All the work that was done seems to be done quickly and not the greatest. Get it close and caulk it or cover it with aluminum. It looks good from the road but if you get close enough and know what you're looking for there are a lot of things that should have been done differently.

I was an unfortunate victim of arson to my garage. My insurance company, State Farm, recommended a locally owned constuction company, SMB Construction, to fix the fire/smoke damage to my garage. I have been extremely pleased with the quality of their work and professionalism. The project manager Ed and his crew have been wonderful and have provided supportive customer service during this traumatizing experience. Thank you SMB Construction!

SMB construction was assigned to do our bathroom repairs by our insurance after we had water damage. They are the worst company to work with. The communication is horrible. Even though we told the assigned contractor more than a dozen times that we wanted to install a hand-held shower at waist level or a faucet through which we can fill buckets (so that our toddler can take a bath), he refused to follow our directions and have now landed us in a situation where we are going to have a bathroom where our child won't be able to give herself baths for several years. Ridiculous!

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Please avoid using them! Had a claim on my house from July it’s now February and it’s still not repaired.

They put on my roof with a lifetime warranty and when my chimney started to leak they said it not the workmanship but rather the parts had worn out,no where in the warranty does it sell you the parts are only good for 5 years.The estimate was 893$ which isn't that much ...you would think they would want to maintain good customer service but they don't ...DO NOT USE TIS COMPANY!

I scheduled an estimate for some work with SMB. It's been close to two weeks and I have not received an estimate nor heard back from them. If I cant count on them to provide an estimate how could I possibly count on them to do the job if I were to actually hire them for a job? I will certainly never consider them for any work in the future nor will I recommend them to anyone I know

Complete waste of time. Sat here for over an hour. They kept saying they were almost here. Lady on the phone got an attitude with me as well.

This was a $25,000+ job. I can’t imagine how they treat the smaller jobs

Never in my life have a left a bad review, but this one is well deserved.

Don’t waste your time with this company.

I wish I could give them zero stars but Google makes me at least put one. They aren't even done with the work at my condo and I'm already leaving a bad review.

There is a reason they only do insurance work because they are slow, unorganized, unreliable, and no one likes them.

We had a leak in our furnace back in September which caused damage to our bathroom and kitchen. They ripped apart our bathroom and unhooked the vanity. They never rehooked up the vanity so we have been without a vanity since September.

It took them a month to supply the insurance company with an estimate for the job. It took the two more weeks to get us a supplies list and then another two week to pick up said supplies list. After they picked up the supplies list, they told us we will have it done by Christmas and stopped hearing from them.

Two week ago a crew showed up to do the drywall work. They let us know they are only there to do drywall work and nothing else as they have another crew that does the flooring. We were told they would be back the next day at 930am to finish the drywall. They were three hours late.

I called to complain and I got a host of reason as to why the would have been late and a host of other jobs that could have been completed that day but couldn't due to them being late and then needing a different crew to come out and do the flooring.

Today I was informed that the flooring crew messed up the flooring and has now delayed that project even further. So we are still without a completed project and a vanity until further notice. Also, the crew left garbage behind and are still storing their supplies inside my place and my garage.
