Great experience working with Ed Lowell! He was able to fit me in into a busy summer and complete the job ahead of schedule - good communication, fair price, and when I asked for a little extra we hadn't had in the original plan, he was more than happy to oblige!

It was important to us to have a fence that could keep our dogs in and other critters out but also look complementary to our home and environment. Ed Lowell and his team (Wyatt and Austin) did a fantastic job on our new fence! We went with the 3 rail split fence with 5ft black vinyl coated welded wire. We live in the woods and the aesthetic is very Vermonty. The wire helps keep our dog safely inside. They completed the job in 1.5 days and were meticulous about the install. Especially the gates, one in particular that was on a slope. Thank you so much! Our dog Petey loves it and his new freedom in the yard! We highly recommend Lowell Landscape & Fence!

Highly recommend! He showed up within the same week as I called with all his equipment. The landscaper was kind and personable then proceeded to work incredibly hard over the next hour and a half clearing my overgrown yard and returning order to the neglected chaos. Prices are very reasonable and I look forward to working with him again.

Peter did an exceptional job on our property. He showed up day one prepared with all the tools necessary to complete the project and continued to come daily until the project was completed. He is pleasant to work with and very accommodating. We would definitely recommend Peter!

Greg is very professional and was able to fit me into his schedule. He did a superb job on my ceilings and wall that I needed painted before putting my house on the market. He is a great guy and I would highly recommend him.

Chad is very good at getting back to his clients when there is an issue and runs a good tight landscaping group

They have been plowing the community I live in for a few years and every year causes damage to my building by pushing the snow directly onto my house and completely plows my cars into the driveway and leaves it like that as I live in a dead end! The becomes rude to me and others when we ask for it to be fixed

Best home improvement money I've spent in a while. Just wish I had more projects for them to do right now!

I called around for estimates on replacing a small section of roof over the entry way to the basement. Yes, it was a small job but Ed was prompt and thorough in all his communication. He was also very reasonably priced. He provided insight into 'best practices' that I didn't get from other big name companies in the area. Instead of spending 3x as much on the latest in flat roof material technology from another company, he pitched the roof and installed tried and true shingles. It both looks and functions better at a fraction of the cost.

This is the kind of advice and vision I was hoping I'd get from a professional and Ed and team delivered.

We had a chronic small leak in our roof. After trying several other companies without returned calls, I contacted C.B. at 11am on a Thursday and set up a time to stop by the same day when I returned from work. He was timely, friendly, professional and climbed up on our roof to add flashing and caulking at the source of the leak. Trying to find someone to fix our leak has been a frustrating process and C.B. restored my faith in accessing quality and timely home repair at a good value. I will be contacting them again for future projects!

Had a great experience with Chittenden Builders, we had a small leak in our roof around the chimney and had been trying to get someone to come take a look for a bit but others weren’t answering/returning calls or weren’t taking on smaller jobs but Chittenden Builders answered the phone and came out same day to take a look and repaired my leak within an hour. Phenomenal job! Definitely recommend!

I had inquired with Ed Brown from Chittenden Builders in the fall of 2014 to put a new roof on my house in Burlington. I received a timely estimate for the work at a great price. Ed used quality materials, and was able to complete the project very fast, even came in on Sunday to get it started. I am overall very happy with Ed's professionalism and responsiveness, will certainly inquire with Chittenden Builders again for future work.
