    Nice work that they do

I had an excellent experience. I had a big crack in my 70 year old garage floor. They cut the entire thing out, removed all the debris, dug deep, and poured fresh. There was no dust because their cutter uses water. And they were able to navigate their big equipment despite our narrow shared driveway. Very fair price. Highly recommend.

My father had Hutch Brothers pour concrete for a garage that we are building. We happened to lay a level down and noticed how PERFECTLY level it is. They do a great job and really know what they’re doing!

We have nothing but the very best to say about Scott Hutch. He took upon himself to have site work finished on our property. He even made sure work was finished that should have been finished by Brandon Vest from Sage Carpentry. We take him for his honest work ethics.

They cut a beautiful trail to the brook behind my house. I’d highly recommend them for any excavation or land cleaning needs.

Poor workmanship and communication for a roof they replaced on our home. Had several large leaks immediately afterwards, with some resulting damage done to the interior of the home they agreed to repair, but did not. Lazy communication (incorrect dates on estimates, delays with getting paperwork, did not specify the date they would show up to begin the project). I regret choosing them for our roof and highly recommend you look elsewhere.

I hired VCC to install an egress window. The result was catastrophically unprofessional. They initially dug too deep and severed water and power lines; the rim was almost at ground level; most importantly the extensive drain pipe they installed was, in addition to the sections not being correctly coupled (creating large sink holes), pitched uphill. The result was that all drainage/rain water was channeled into the window well and subsequently into our basement. We hired another company that repaired everything after VCC refused responsibility and any reimbursement.

VCC did exactly what they told me they would do. I loved their expertise, their efficiency and especially their integrity. I know that their skills were extremely important but for me honesty and dependability is of extreme importance. I recommend Vermont Concrete Cutting any opportunity I have.

These guys are amazing! It is elusive in this day and age to find a company to work with that offers high quality work in a professional manner. They were up front about fees, very accurate and accommodating with the schedule, performed very sound and prompt service and did it all with kindness. I cannot recommend this company enough! Do no hesitate...they will not disappoint!

After a dozen searches for a company to repair external concrete window sills and stairs on an historic building in my town, I landed on Vermont Concrete Cutting & Concrete Solutions. Their estimate for repairing a badly damaged sills on at least ten windows as well as external concrete steps, I was astonished at how much less they charged than other local contractors. They came for an inspection ahead of the work, arrived precisely when they said they would, did the job efficiently and thoroughly, and were courteous throughout the procedure. I can't speak highly enough of this company, and next time I need concrete work, I know who I'll call. You should, too.

My main residence is out of state. I was purchasing a home that needed bulkhead repairs. Knowing the timeline was near for closing they came out the next day and looked at the job. Provided a detailed estimate and got the work completed before the closing. Very nice to deal with professional would recommend and hire again

They came and did a job to core a manhole wall and a new trench through the floor of the manhole. They were able to squeeze my job in 2 weeks ahead of schedule and complete the work only within a few hours. Great work, great experience.

Nice job on an egress window but not perfect; four different issues with it. When they backfilled with stone, they didn't cover the window to protect it, so the glass was chipped in a dozen places. They replaced the damaged section but now the window locks don't align perfectly and are difficult to latch; and I've adjusted them as much as possible.

Second, after the window well was already installed, I noticed that the color of the lower panel was darker and didn't match the rest. I had to contact the manufacturer, Bilco, myself to have them send me a new panel. I used it to build a lower step and coverup the miscolored panel.

Third, when they framed in for the window, one side is 3/8" further out. This made trimming out the inside of the window a lot more work since the two sides aren't even.

Finally, and I didn't find this out until a few months later when I put the clear plexiglass cover on in preparation for winter, I discovered the window well was not installed squarely. The outer sidewalls are 54" apart but when they attached it to the house foundation, they fastened the sidewalls just 51&1/2" apart. The cover snaps in place on one side but not on the other since it sticks out 2&1/2" past two of the retaining clips. I thought it might just blow off during the winter but fortunately it held.

The egress window looks good and I'm generally pleased with it; it's just not perfect, and it could have been. Just be a little more careful and measure twice.

This company was not what I expected, first I was told it would take 3 days then it turned to almost 7, and I would come over 3 times a day to check progress and one of the workers was always on break. There clean up at the end of the job extremely poor and lazy, they even tried to hide pieces of concrete and trash under chairs, and then when they laid the pipe outside they claim they couldn't go any further which was 10 feet short of the quote and it took them over a week to inform me and instead of finding an alternate route for the pipe outside(which i found after 5 minutes of looking) they said to their boss they were done the job. On top of that they would get there around 930 or 10 in the morning and only work 3 to 4 hours, and as a construction company you would think they would work a full day. So my suggestion if anyone hires these people make sure you are there every minute watching and supervising, or they will try to do what they did to my mother in law. I'm hoping I can save people the headache I went through, I wasn't expecting to have a baby sitter of grown people. They also harassed my 81 mother in law for payment when the job still wasn't completed.
