I hired Steel Construction and Patterson Smith to build my dream house. I have just moved in after a two-year project, as it was a major renovation and really became more of a tear-down rebuild. From the beginning I had the pleasure of working with the group: Being such a big project you cannot help but go into it w/some stress and anxiety! However that was short lived as they made me feel very comfortable quickly. John & Chapman: They are very honest: That is #1! Then the attentiveness and concern for the budget was consistently there. Then, over time I realized that this company surrounds themselves with nothing but the best workers: The craftsmanship, the workmanship, the attitudes, the punctuality, and everything in between was excellent. I now realize as I walk through the house, all of the attention to detail and the quality of the job was just beyond my wildest expectations. Our dream house : 100% success. I would highly recommend this firm!

Dana of Curtis Landworks recently resurfaced my gravel driveway and enlarged the parking area and I couldn't be happier. It looks great. Dana is a professional...communication and dependability were spot on. He takes pride in his work, which shows, as it looks great...crowned nicely with clean edges. Highly recommend

Dana’s work is fantastic! The time from quote to completion of work was fast. Dana raked and smoothed the bumps out of my dog agility field. He recommended one small and inexpensive change to the plan that has turned out to be my favorite feature: widening the access point for seasonal access with a vehicle.

Dana provided an estimate for clearing out sumac, invasive plants, bushes, & saplings from our terraced backyard. From that time until the job was complete, he was communicative, timely, and efficient.

Dana repaired our driveway including delicately emptying a culvert that was filled with driveway stone from a washout. He saved the culvert by being very careful and patient with his approach. Dana is professional, highly skilled, detail-oriented, thoughtful and a good communicator.

Dana was a pleasure to work with! Our driveway was looking rough and he provided his professional opinion, gave us options, and worked with us on fixing not only the driveway but improving the drainage issues that were contributing to driveway destruction. We hired Goodman Construction, Inc. to help us build a garage/workshop/studio space that I envisioned last winter while convalescing from an illness. The entire team was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Charlie worked with us to shape our ideas into a build-able plan, and took care to ensure that we were on the same page every step of the way. I am a highly particular person, and Goodman Construction was respectful, insightful, and helpful throughout the process. Our end design is exactly what I hoped it would be, and I really couldn't be any happier. I especially appreciated how responsive, considerate, neat, and thorough everyone on their team was throughout the building process. We will hope to work with them again in the future. Could not be happier with our decision to work with Goodman Construction for our new home build. All phases of the project, from planning to punchout, were done in a professional, timely and detail-oriented manner. We had a blast designing the house with Charlie, as he had great suggestions and was incredibly quick to update drawings based on our markups. Charlie is a maniac when it comes to organization and communication, which made the whole project essentially stress-free for us. And the finished product is spectacular - quality construction methods and great finishes all around. We really enjoyed building a relationship with Charlie and the rest of the Goodman crew, and will definitely be using them again in the future!

The Goodman Team helped us turn our home into our DREAM HOME; work took 3.5 months and was extensive as we did remodeling/refinishing in nearly every room of our house. The project was delivered on-time, as promised, and communication was GREAT throughout.

We first heard about Goodman Construction as we were in the process of purchasing a home in the Valley. Our home inspector recommended Charlie and as it turns out we could not have been more fortunate, both in terms of the recommendation, as well as the decision to work with the Goodman team.

Beginning with our first meeting with Charlie to discuss the project, we knew we would be in good hands. Our initial impression was that he was knowledgeable, dependable and trustworthy, all traits he exhibited continuously throughout the course of our project.

Our project touched just about every area of the house and included a new kitchen, multiple bathrooms and a boot room. The quality of work by the Goodman team was exceptional and exceeded anything we could have expected. Given that out primary residence is out of state, we were pleasantly surprised at how little this impacted our ability to monitor the work being done. The extraordinary level of communication provided by Charlie and team allowed us to see how things were progressing (through daily emailed pics and frequent zoom calls) at every stage of the project. Goodman Construction really sets themselves apart in how they communicate with clients, better than any company with which we’ve ever worked. While this was very beneficial as the project was in progress, it was also very much appreciated at the scheduled start of the job, which coincided with the early days of the pandemic. Knowing that we were working with a long established company during an unprecedented period of uncertainty was very reassuring.

Since completing our project we’ve since recommended Goodman to friends (one turned into a current client) and would not hesitate to do so again. You will not find a better company to work with on a home construction project. There is absolutely nothing we could have asked for more in our experience with Charlie and Goodman Construction.

Working with Goodman Construction was one of the best experiences of our lives. My wife Mollie and I always dreamed of building a home and Charlie and his team made our dream come true. The house was built on time and on budget. We kept adding in new ideas along the way and Charlie always made us feel heard but also gave it to us straight to make sure we did not make a silly decision. Any time we had a question he was available almost instantly. Charlie, Becky, Avery, Nate, Wilson, Jake, Adam, Jay and let’s not forget Charles the III! Working Goodman Construction was hands down the best experience we could have asked for in building our garage and apartment. Charlie’s attention to detail, vision of the project, and ability to work with our budget was better than we ever anticipated going into our project. His team of employees are true craftsmen and their level of detail to was excellent. If we were to ever build again he would be the first call we would make! We truly understand now what it means to work with a high end builder.
