Mark was the inspector for my newly purchased home. I look back and smile, thinking of how I stumbled upon him and his company. I must have called 10 inspectors before him who were all too busy. Right when I had lost all hope, a random google search led me to his company's name, so I called and left a message. When he called me back (that evening, to my surprise), we had a delightful conversation about the process of home inspections that ended with a booking. I remember saying to Mark on the phone how delightful the conversation was and hearing him modestly chuckle at the compliment, then I thanked him and met him at the inspection a week or so later. All of this exposition may seem superfluous but to me his level of intelligence, professionalism and patience are rare (to say the least) in my experience dealing with men in this trade. I don't mean to sound demeaning, but as a woman I have been subjected to a relentless barrage of overbearing, insulting, degrading and impatient men. Mark let me trail him at the inspection, taking notes and pictures, asking a myriad of questions and not once did he make me feel as if I was in his way. Quite the opposite! He was a wonderful teacher, he was a thorough inspector, and an all around classy guy. Even if I had a question or concern after I paid him, he always responded quickly with kindness and thoughtfulness. I knew, after the inspection, I wanted a guy like him and a company like his at my disposal for the rest of my life. Oh, and the several things he pointed out about my home will save me tens of thousands of dollars over the next decade. You can't do better than these guys!

I had a problem no one could solve, until Guide CS showed up.

We wanted to mount a 200 pound, 8 foot Restoration Hardware mirror to the main wall at the entrance of our home. It's a massive project to say the least, and we were terrified of it falling on one of the kids. We love this piece but no one could help us. The few guys that came by told us french cleats would work, and when we tried to hang it with them the heads of the screws they used popped off like corn on a stove. And they told us not to worry, it'll hold!

We thought we'd need to give up on this plan until we met Mark and Liam at Guide CS. They came by, surveyed the room, and took measurements of the mirror. They custom fabricated 2 gorgeous metal brackets that fastened securely into 7 studs and could hold over 2,000 lbs. It slid in like it was meant to be there, is secure beyond our wildest dreams, and has truly transformed the energy in our place. It's a work of art what they did and I feel grateful every time I walk by.

But the thing worth noting is the approach they have when dealing with a client. It's almost as if Mark and Liam couldn't proceed until my wife and I could grasp all the parameters involved in figuring out the perfect design of the brackets and the ultimate placement of the mirror. I can't stress enough how revolutionary this felt. After decades of feeling swindled by contractors and in the dark as to how their decisions are made, Mark walked us through his thinking and requested sincere input from us and comprehension as to what he was doing, before anything was done. It was a dance I'll never forget and when we landed on the perfect design/placement, the energy was palpable. They utilized our aesthetic as a driving force in their work and gave us ownership in the process. This type of collaboration is truly special, yields very real and satisfying results, and leaves us with the sense that we truly had a hand in the creation of the space. I've never experienced this before and I never want to approach another project without this level of consciousness and focus. It's not just that we were "heard", it's that they facilitated an experience in which our input and instincts were critical.

I'm eager to bring them back to our home, and will always consult them first on any project we're spearheading. I honestly can't recommend them highly enough and am in awe of the approach they've created, not to mention the skill and intelligence they bring to the table.

JT and his crew installed over 70 Marvin sliding doors for Little Eagle Bay apartments in a very impressive, super efficient manner, where there was minimal time spent inside an apartment. Our residents especially appreciated the JT crew's protocol of safety during this pandemic. We couldn't be happier with the communication skills of JT, he always let us know if there were any issues or concerns with the job at hand. I felt like he was looking out for our business as well as his! I highly recommend JT. We are looking forward to working with JT Contracting again in the future.

I am a Redstone property tenant. JT’s was hired to fix the ceiling in my bathroom. They were friendly, polite and efficient. They took the time to explain to me what they did and asked if I had any questions. Super nice! The ceiling looks great! I am very pleased with the work they did. 5 Stars all the way!!!

JT’s Contracting came and repaired ceiling damage from a leaky toilet above our unit. They were quick, professional, and easy to work with. Very pleased with the results.

These guys did a fantastic job installing a new deck for me in Middlebury! They worked super efficiently, did a great job on the structure and finish work, and left the space looking exactly like it did when they first arrived (plus a gorgeous new deck). Great communication & very professional.

I’m a Redstone tenant, and JT’s contracting came in to fix our popcorn ceiling after the steam from the shower peeled it off. They did a great job, repaired all the damage quickly and professionally, and even cleaned up afterwards. Not to mention the gentlemen were very personable and respectful, couldn’t ask for a better experience and the ceiling looks better than new. Left us a with a clean and fully repaired bathroom, even fixed the hinges on the door!!!

I have hired JT's Contracting twice in the past two months and have been very pleased with his work. I first hired him for the removal of popcorn ceiling in two rooms. His crew, Jeremy and Boyd, were on time, neat, efficient, and did excellent work. They even helped me out with the electrical part of the project, which I was doing myself.
The second time was for painting the above mentioned rooms. Sarah did an excellent job. She always arrived on time, was also very efficient and clean, no splatter, no paint drops. I very much appreciated her attention to detail. She made sure walls and ceiling were ready for painting, fixing any small imperfection. She also accommodated our request to create a horizontal band between the ceiling and the wall, which came out beautifully. All jobs were finished on time as scheduled.
I highly recommend JT Contracting and his crew for all your home remodeling or construction. I will definitely use JT again in the future.

J.T.’s came to fix my porch railing. I’m a tenant at Redstone Properties and the integrity of my porch railing was compromised and totally unsafe. Not only were they friendly but they got the job done quick and it’s sturdier than ever! Oh! And it looks great! They were able to match the original paint and design, which isn’t easy to do! JT and his crew did SUCH an amazing job renovating my apartment. Prior to their renovation work, my apartment was just completely outdated, a place I didn't want to be at, and I didn't want others to see. I was so happy with how kind and quick they were to completely flip my apartment, and make it into a space that I adore. The colors of the floors are gorgeous and it feels like a completely new apartment. I cannot stress how much I recommend going to JT's Contracting LLC for any of your contracting needs.

Brennan Building & Excavation has constructed many wastewater disposal fields that we have designed in the past decade or so. Tristan has a broad knowledge of civil projects having studied and worked in the Engineering field. Designing wastewater disposal systems for Brennan Excavation is a collaborative process since their knowledge is vast, and they maintain a wastewater designer license to stay up-to-date on current design standards/methods. Having a site contractor with this skill set is a great benefit when it comes to finding the right solution for sites that may present challenges. I would highly recommend Brennan Excavation for your grading, clearing, building site preparation, and wastewater installation needs.

I posted seperatly of my personal experience and thought I would also share from my proffesional experiance. I am the Facilites Manager for a hight tech company where cleanliness is of extreme importance and quality is job one. Tristan ran this job and they were immaculate in dust protection and tidiness throught the entire project. The project was to make 3 doors into bigger doors and some wer enot in easy locations to work. They did a great job and the doors looked like original construction, or better when done. So, residential or commercial/industrial Matt and Tristan can and will get ti done and done right.

A one stop shop- new septic designed, approved by state, and installed at a great price. Completely hassle free for me. Thank you so much for giving us a place to put our ... stuff.

Matt and Tristan did our kitchen a few years back and the attention to detail was incredible. One day I came home and the vent hood was taken apart. Matt said "I noticed when I walked by you could see the duct work through side vents so i took it apart to paint the duct black and it would show". We probably would have never noticed but that is the kind of detail that went into the whole project. Highly recommend if you want a quality job and want it done right.

Tristan did a great job replacing our culvert and resurfacing our driveway. He was knowledgeable and kept me posted about what to expect, etc. I’ll use his service again when the need arises.
