We recently had our deck removed and replaced with a screened in deck by Kilted Builders.Justin did an amazing job. We gave him our visions(s) and he supplied us with 3 possible options with detailed plans and price breakdowns. We are very happy with the final outcome.

100% would recommend. It was near impossible to get someone to pour concrete under our deck during the pandemic. Contractors either no-showed or were extremely overpriced. Kilted Builders gave us a fair price, and showed up as planned. They went above and beyond to deliver exactly what we wanted and more. We only wish we had found them sooner! Years later, and the pad is still in perfect condition. Zero cracks or imperfections.

Fantastic experience working with this company! Communication was excellent and the work completed efficiently. They squeezed us into their busy schedule and got the job done in less than a week from when I reached out for a quote. Work total came in under quoted price and they passed that discount on to us. Highly recommend!

My husband and I just recently built our house, and have hired and worked with many different small businesses to make our home our own. This is by far the WORST company we have ever interacted with. I have never written a review in my life, but this customer service was so horrible, I couldn’t not write something. In the fall of 2017 we had Whitcomb come out and look at sealing our shared driveway. Doug recommended we wait until the spring for better product to be available and gave us a price we couldn’t resist, so we said see you in the spring. Now I know why the price was so cheap, because he was NEVER going to do the job. My husband reached out multiple times to Doug to get this process going. We were scheduled for June 30 after us asking multiple times when it was going to be done. A heatwave came through and we understood when Doug asked us to push back the date, but it didn’t stop there. After the heatwave it was not enough staff, then it was too hot again, and then rain. Now I look on Whitcombs Facebook and see he’s been doing work the whole time, while he’s been telling us he can’t. Horrible company. Don’t give a customer a price quote if you never intend on working with them. I would never recommend this company to anyone unless they want to spend months chasing down the owner for a job that will never be done.

Doug recently did some work for my husband and I, and we couldn't be happier. This man and his wife are professional, very honest hard working people who know their profession well. We would recommend them to anyone who wants the job done right without shortcuts. (No sales gimmicks just to grab your bussiness and then do half-a$$ work) We will only be calling him from now on. Earned every dollar and more.

Awesome experience from start to finish with the husband and wife super team. Great customer experience from the first call to the follow up conversation after the job was completed. I had two medium size jobs that had to be completed, pulling stumps and rocks and regrading the land. They did a very very good job and for a very reasonable price. They listen to what you want and get it done. They follow up on the timeline and were at the job site early. I already have another job that I will be reaching out to them for next year. In short, They are the best.

We have had Doug handle all of our landscaping needs for the last 7+ years. He has cleared trees for a fire pit area, and did some extensive excavation work to build a playground for our girls. Everything has come out great. He is an absolute professional and does tremendous work. He is honest and responsible and has our complete trust. A few projects ago he quoted us a price that we felt was fair. When the project was done he told us that he quoted above what it actually took and charged us LESS than the original quote. Find me another contractor like that. Can't go wrong with Doug!

The Whitcomb team is simply amazing! We hired them for a combination of excavation work, tree removal, and property clean-up. They provided us with a fair quote and helped devise a plan we had not originally considered. The job was completed incredibly timely with great communication, and we couldn't be happier with the results! We can't recommend Whitcomb enough, and we'll definitely be hiring the team again.

We were lucky enough to work with them to redo our mucky, muddy, slippery horse paddocks. They were quick to come out and provided a fair estimate. They were patient with my questions and went above and beyond to work around holidays and wild weather. Our horses are so happy with their refreshed paddocks and I will sleep easier knowing they have good footing to walk around in. The before and after don't do it justice.

**Edit**. More than 1 year later and our paddocks have held up beautifully. Our yard and our paths are all mud but our paddocks are already nice and dry.

I hired someone, who rushed through a job and was clearly just after a quick buck. Left my property a mess. Doug and Ashley came in and completely turned things around. Professional, and personable, they saw my vision, took time to think about it and brought that vision to life—even better than I could have imagined. Their attention to detail, quality of work, and passion they show up with I have found to be rare in this area. My yard is now beautifully designed with an ideal canvas for planting. They surprised me with a staircase made out of boulders they gathered from my property, it’s gorgeous. They not only fixed someone else’s mess, they went above and beyond what I asked. I would highly recommend them if you want landscaping work done right the first time! Will not hesitate to call them back for more work.

They have always been great to purchase concrete and forms from. I have purchased products from them for decades. What a great group of people.

I dont appreciate your drivers barely yielding, let alone stopping at a stop sign and then cutting me off going 40+ with a concrete truck. It really makes me wonder about the safety and decision making your company has.

Professional and courteous personnel, I dealt with Tim and Andy. They reached out with a schedule update and also when the truck was on the road. Andy the driver, threaded the needle and spread the concrete evenly which made work as easy as possible! Fix the AC in his truck!!!

Central Concrete in Henniker is hands down the best around. These guys are professional, easy to work with, and always have what you need when you need it. The team is friendly, knowledgeable, and they take real pride in what they do. You can tell they care about their customers and getting the job done right. My team at New England Development out of Hillsboro, New Hampshire goes nowhere else. I’ve had nothing but great experiences and wouldn’t go anywhere else either. Highly recommend.

I have used Eastern Slopes Construction for a number of projects and cannot recommend them highly enough.
I have had driveways graded and rebuilt, stone delivered, driveways plowed and sanded and trees removed. All of the results have been excellent.
The owner, Chris, is prompt, courteous, and professional and his prices are extremely reasonable.
