Sean McLaughlin and his team were great to work with! They did a lot of work for us. They did all the excavation for a new patio, walkway and stairs. They leveled and put loam down on our whole yard. Sean did all the work he promised. He was very easy to work with. He communicated his thoughts and ideas to help finish the job properly. His guys were on time and finished the project when expected. They cleaned up after the project, leaving no dirt and rock on all the surfaces in the yard. I would recommend McLaughlin Excavation to anyone needing work.

Sean was very flexible and understanding with my schedule (which was really the town’s schedule for issuing permits). Sean provided multiple options to go about the project, as well as multiple solutions (along with their pros and cons) whenever a sticky situation arose.
Sean had excellent communication, never taking more than a day or 2 to respond before and after the project, and typically minutes while actively working on the project. This, along with always having my best interests in mind is what made Sean stand out in a time when its difficult to get contractors to even call you back or show up.

We hired McLaughlin's to help us protect the stone foundation of our house in Tilton that was built into a hill. Sean was amazing helping us come up with the most affordable solution that also left us with a better and more beautiful backyard! Our new retaining wall is just perfect. They came when promised, completed the work on schedule, kept us informed throughout the project and they were sensitive to the neighbors concerns too. We couldn't be happier! If only every contractor provided such a great product and service at a reasonable price! I've already connected Sean to request a quote for another property.

Steve Sarette & Son completed a rain water drainage system at my home within a week of my initial call and we couldn’t be happier with the quality of their work! They even accomplished some leveling work in the yard to address settling that has occurred in the many years since our house was built. In fact it looks so good we are now planning on having them back next year for a larger project. Great job by competent professionals..

Real professional company we were calling several places Tim and one other place were the only ones who called back. We had a quote by both and the prices were comparable although Tim‘s company came in slightly higher. We went with him just because he came he already had our plans pulled for a septic, and he spoke Like a subject matter expert and explain things to us to give us confidence in his ability to perform the job. But not too much to where we became overwhelmed. Highly recommend!

Bought a new house in Goffstown and discovered I had two issues, dampers in my heating ducts and a tankless heater on the fritz. They understood clearly what I was looking for offered me an upgrade to the current system adn installed a beautiful 50 gallon tank system that delivers me all the hot water we need. The workmanship was great. I was very happy with the timeline and price. I will defiinitely ber calling them again.

Absolutely amazing experience with Tim and this organization. We've had issues with our septic for a few years and a recent inspection deemed in almost inoperable. That afternoon Tim showed up and took the old plans back to the office and within just a couple days I had a very fair quote. It only took him a couple days to draw up the new plans and submit to the appropriate authorities. We have a new septic system with 2 weeks from that original inspection.

They had a nasty mess of shrubs and old tar to remove prior to the installation. They finished the project leaving the site looking like a new property, ready for seeding.

Most importantly everything came in within the quoted amount.

Just had Tim and his team at Sarette do our drain field and yard extension project. Before quoting, Tim came over to walk the property with me to find out all the details and my goals of what I was looking to get done. I was very impressed with his attention to detail and communication throughout the entire project. This was not an easy job. There was limited access and not a lot of space to work. The crew was exceptional, polite and cared for my property during the job as if it were their own. I would absolutely recommend these guys to do any excavating project and will be using them when we are ready to do phase 2 of our yard extension. Huge thanks Tim and crew!!

Great company to work with! I needed some trees taken removed from my property. Joe came right out for a quote and they got me on the schedule. They were reasonably priced, had stellar communication and did great work! I really appreciated that they went above and beyond! Would definitely recommend!

Joe and his team were recommended to me from another company and I’m very glad they did. The crew was very pleasant to work with. They demo’d and old deck and pool and took care of a lot of trees on the property and did it quickly and with great care to the lawn and property. Would def recommend and use them again for future projects!

I'm surprised I haven't already reviewed Bacon Engineering; this is the third time I've used them, and I've been 100 % satisfied every time. Joe has brought in ledge pack, removed one tree (a large hemlock), and has now removed 5 more trees (including another large hemlock, a large beech, and various other medium sized trees. Today's work was a crane and climber job, which Joe organized with another great local contractor, Granite State Crane. It was a hard working and efficient crew, very professional and expert. Everything went smoothly and right according to plan, despite some pretty difficult locations. I'd give 6 stars if I could. Wholehearted recommendation.

I’m remodeling my house in Bedford before I sell, and it has gone so smoothly and comfortable compared to all the horror stories I hear from multiple friends. I heard about them through a family member who got an in-law done above there garage, and I thought they would definitely be able to do an open concept for my living room. He did amazing and the resell value sky rocketed. Very grateful and would recommend to anyone and everyone!!!

New patio door does not close properly due to questionable workmanship. Door is not lined up properly against the inside frame. Space between the door and the jam varies which is not a good look. See pic. Exterior door knob sustained damage due to installer’s carelessness. New Screen door already showing signs of wear. Notified company but never received a proper response. Not recommended
