As Realtor, its important to have great Contractors thats why McConkey Construction is a part of my team.

I have known Mark for many ,many ,years and he’s been most professional and honest helping our clients and customers through Shoreland permitting, septic designs, town permits, and septic inspections and installs . He and his team are most responsive and willing to help in any situations some of which are very challenging. In addition he’s a great representative at the state house for our district . I highly recommend Mark and his company all of you needs.

Mark and his team did a wonderful job on installing a new septic system for our house. We purchased a new house in December and he was quick to get on his schedule to start before the weather put us out several months. His team worked hard to get it completed in a timely manner and made sure he came back in the better weather to finish the job (treating the grass).
I would highly recommend using Mark as he was very honest, did a wonderful job, helped answer all of our questions, and kept our current and future plans in mind when installing our septic.

Cobalt Construction Management did a great job finishing the construction of my shed and installing the shingles. He showed up with his trailer and a two-man crew, and they jumped right into the project and had everything completed the same day. Even though it was a small job, it was clear they take real pride in their work and made sure everything was done right. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to others.

My wife and I purchased a house that recently had work completed on the screened in porch roof. Upon moving in in the middle of summer, with continuous rain storms, the roof started showing signs leaks. Each storm there was multiple areas leaking. I got the contract from the previous owners and reached out to this company explaining the issues. The owner, whom I assumed answered the call, said he remembers the house and will come by to check it. After getting no call back or notice I called again, in which I was told he came by and saw no issues. I had security cameras installed upon moving in and it did not alert or show anyone had come onto my property. Called for a third time when it rained again and said the issues persisted and was told they'll come again. After another call, I was told they did a water test and the issue was supposedly coming from the siding. Yet again, my cameras showed no alerts. After having another contractor come by to give an estimate, I was told the job was done completely wrong. The water and ice shield around the skylight windows were wrapped inside allowing water to come in. As well as the incorrect silicone was used to seal the nails. I bought flex seal and covered the nails which stopped some of the leaks instantly the next storm. After informing this company what I was told, there was no response. Now I have to pay for a real contractor to complete the job correctly.

I’ve dealing with Shawn since 2001. We always use him for our construction projects. Our go to remodeler with the best quality and price. Friendly, professional, and prompt.

Shawn and his son Brett did an excellent addition on our house that included a mudroom, 2 car garage and 750sq ft bonus room. The building process seemed a little intimidating at first, but Shawn made it very easy for us and helped us every step of the way. From the design process through the construction, Shawn demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and true passion for his business. We were so pleased with their work that we had them come back and winterize a 3-season room into the room of our dreams. I would highly recommend BCS & Sons Construction for any home project
